I think the code only works for "in stock" items. Pre-orders don't seem to qualify with the code, at least that's how it's been with my orders.

@@XENOS_Indie_Game_Dev That can't be correct. Lots of people use it to pre-order things. It's possible you're ordering something with it that doesn't qualify such as download codes or items in the "weekly special" deals.

@@SwitchWatch Well, that's probably the case then. Some hidden convoluted caveat on one game that isn't so obvious on the product page, but might have been on a "special" exclusionary page which I didn't see. It's just frustrating to find that an online deal is not qualified for an online item.
