We dont have a science center but a planetarium near sambalpur in burla , i was surprised to see most of the stuff broken like measurement instruments but bigger stuff made of just metals were working.

I suggest city not only build more science city but also upgrade them to current standards science always keep changing after some discoveries they need to upgrade or destroy old building and create new one with cutting edge tech
Yes I agree with that. I live in Punjab and the nearest science city we have is the Kapurthala Science city and Kurukshetra science city. I have visited there multiple times in my life but every time I go, I see the facilities in a degraded form than before. It makes me sad.

The problem is our science Center handel by old people who didn't want to do anything new just keep running old equipment we need youngsters with passion to work on center also our science field based on theory mostly science Center never try to do public gathering to show some cool Experiement or science exhibition stuff they will keep showing theory based thing's instead of practical
Also due to sarkari babu new out of box idea 💡never take place and no one try to modernize science centre or deconstruct or rebuild with cutting/ bleeding edge technology
More than these old people, the Desi bureaucrats, politicians, technocrats or even scientists have skewed views and understanding on science. To connect Amravati to reast of the world and different parts of our country there should be a large state-of-the-art of the art International airport (just like Banglore international airport's new terminal) . In this way Amravati will be the 9th largest metropolitan city of India after New Delhi , Mumbai , Kolkata , Chennai , Banglore , Hyderabad , Pune , Ahmadabad . But it should be bigger than cities like Bhubneshwar , Nagpur , Nashik , Indore , Bhopal , Kochi , Jaipur , Jodhpur , Patiala , Bhantida , Chandigarh , Lucknow , Ayodhya , Gandhinagar , Vizag , Koimbatur , Thiruvananthapuram , Rajkot etc .

Science cities are later concept, gov. schools first need to be of world standards.
Even If India makes science centers, most probably the central highlights willbe pseudosciences like Yoga and Ayurveda. Experience centers for utter B.S claims like planes that flew over subcontinent can also be expected. Lucky Indian students will learn sanatanised (pseudo)science like how Pakistan teach their students about Evolution or any science that contradict the respective(?) religion.

Yoga is "pseudoscience"? What bonkers? There is a lot of scientific literature related to yoga, and there are scientific fields related to ayurveda like 'ayurgenomics' (this ain't pseudoscience, there is scientific literature in the same).

As a rural high school student in 2005-06 i was always fascinated about science experiments & scientific processes written in textbooks. At that time i used to manage 'Vigyan Pragati' magazine from my nearest town. But never got a chance to see any of scientific experiments until getting admission in a medical college years later.
I never saw any real practical or scientific process in my entire school life. I still feel nostalgic to my curiosity in those days.
There must be many science centers across India and mandatory visits to these centers in school curriculum.
