Julian (creator of Co-Optional Podcast Animated) has asked me what to do about continuing to animate podcast episodes that feature my husband, John "TotalBiscuit" Bain. While some of you might find it in poor taste, I've told him to please carry on with including him in future episodes. I have no doubts that many of you are going through your own grieving process, as am I. I am simply trying to keep the parts of John alive that we've been left with... a very large catalog of audio material. Hopefully, Julian will be able to provide us with more episodes featuring John and I'd like to ask that if you are upset by that, please use the comment section here to make your feelings known. I been watching the old podcast since TB passed away, so far I'm up to episode 89 and listening to the gang there's load of animated video that could be made. TB was right about so many games almost like he came from the future.

Others have done a lot more for people than tb but have been ripped on in death according to how much of a massive fucking cunt they were in real life, why is tb exempt from this and must only be praised and held up as a legend among men? Back when TB turned off comments, they really were terrible. RUclips has come a long way. The comment sections are much better these days TB just never realized that they sort of got fixed. Nice to have them back.
I think TB had good reason to switch them off at the time, and I think he needed it for his own sanity. It's very easy to take every nasty comment on board, and then feel the need to respond, which is exactly what those people wanted. I'm sure some of them will try it again, which just goes to show how pathetic and unfulfilling their lives must be! So thank you Genna, I just hope people don't abuse your kind gesture.
I had to remind myself a few times this E3 why I hadn't heard his opinions on anything yet. Think I'm going to have to keep reminding myself that for years to come.
I think we'll miss him forever more. TB was a unique character, and the videos he made have - for some of us - been a large part of our lives. I started watching when he was totally unknown, and have been here ever since. I may not have known him personally, but it's still a loss, however you look at it.
I first discovered Totalbiscuit during the WoW radio days. Over the years he taught me to be a better, and more discerning consumer. Very few gamers can leave the kind of positive legacy he has. Stuff like this is such a great demonstration. Represents a lot of what I would want out of life. Making jokes about old television shows with my friends, and not only getting paid for it, but getting cartoons made of it. He lived the dream, taught us all, and left too soon.

It's been 3 weeks now, why does it still feel like it happened yesterday? Hearing the beginning of this, and remembering Genna talking about how John would go into the bain voice when picking up his prescription made me tear up all over again. Life is so fucking unfair sometimes...
Thank you for keeping his memory alive, we will always remember John. With any further episode like this you will just ease the pain, it really helps. It's like having a picture of your grandma. Then coloring it. In the near future possibly animating it about her waving. And so on, it just helps us keeping them alive.
Keep this up, keep it up for as long as you like! This is the best way to remember such a great man, sharing moments like these and bring them to life. It's both heart breaking and heart worming to see him in one of these again and hope it's continued.

I had both my grandfather and T.B pass away on the same day and it was one of the hardest times I've gone through yet. These little snip-bits of John and re-watching the old Terraria series with Jesse have been making it so much easier. Please continue these for as long as you can, that's my personal vote. What a great way to grieve, though. We get to remember all the funny/great bits all while watching funny/great animations to make it that much better. It's bittersweet.
These are still so beautiful and so much fun. I love how when Jesse laughs he leans in and out of frame like Bugs Bunny. I love John's crazy random guns. I love when Brooke leans into a bit but you can still hear her exasperation. All of it is top notch.
I'm going to miss him opening the show. His voice... it hurts to think there will never be another new video by him. He helped me get through some dark moments in my life. Thank you John and thank you Genna for continuing his legacy.

Columbo’s wife was mentioned all the time, but never shown for the longest time. When they finally introduced her on-screen, she was played by Kate Mulgrew,, who later starred in Star Trek: Voyager. Probably not his favorite Trek series (being Gilligan’s Island in space and all), but TB probably would’ve gotten a laugh out of the overlap.
This was genuinely one of my favourite moments, I'm really happy it was chosen to be animated. And he did really love his Bain impression so I'm glad it's here now for all too see ^^
Definitely bittersweet, but very much appreciated. I wasn't the biggest fan of him, but I do remember binging his Terraria series with Jesse Cox years ago, as well as watching a few of his WoW and WTF is videos. Rest in peace.
This was maybe the first thing with TB's voice I've watched sense his passing (other than his explaining terraria video with him drunk in a chair and jesse in the background). I was more saddened by his passing than I thought I would be and hadn't felt "ready" as silly as that sounds coming from someone who never had the chance to meet or know him. But man that bit was priceless, and I think the animated bits coming out now and then will be a great way for him to still make us smile from time to time and remind us of the lighter side of him. RIP John.

I needed to hear his voice today. It hasn't fully sunk in yet, but the feeling of continuity is oddly comforting and helpful.

Thank you, Genna & Julian, for doing this for fans like us who will always remember how amazing TB was. These animations are now like a permanent, wonderful memorial to him. Thank you for letting me laugh again when I think about him.

Thanks Genna ,this is great. I feel like I lost a best friend even though I've never met TB. His voice has been a part of my life for over half a decade. Keep it coming, we all miss him.
What a great way to grieve, though. We get to remember all the funny/great bits all while watching funny/great animations to make it that much better. It's bittersweet.
These are still so beautiful and so much fun. I love how when Jesse laughs he leans in and out of frame like Bugs Bunny. I love John's crazy random guns. I love when Brooke leans into a bit but you can still hear her exasperation.
All of it is top notch.
I'm going to miss him opening the show. His voice... it hurts to think there will never be another new video by him. He helped me get through some dark moments in my life. Thank you John and thank you Genna for continuing his legacy.
To see so many fitting and loving tributes by so many people from various backgrounds and cultures coming together to pay respect to an individual that they may never have met in person is an amazing sight to behold. John's work did so much for people more than we may think. It goes to show that if you do something positive you may think it doesn't do anything but when you see the ripples it creates later on it soon shows. R.I.P Totalbiscuit, there's just one more thing, well actually there isn't but always wanted to do a do a columbo reference
I suspect John would have wanted these shorts to continue, and it's a nice format to be remind of him every now and again.
Columbo’s wife was mentioned all the time, but never shown for the longest time. When they finally introduced her on-screen, she was played by Kate Mulgrew,, who later starred in Star Trek: Voyager. Probably not his favorite Trek series (being Gilligan’s Island in space and all), but TB probably would’ve gotten a laugh out of the overlap.
Man I hope the guy that makes these never stops. For 3 minutes and 8 seconds, it was like TB was back ! Such a legend. RIP.
This was genuinely one of my favourite moments, I'm really happy it was chosen to be animated. And he did really love his Bain impression so I'm glad it's here now for all too see ^^
Definitely bittersweet, but very much appreciated. I wasn't the biggest fan of him, but I do remember binging his Terraria series with Jesse Cox years ago, as well as watching a few of his WoW and WTF is videos. Rest in peace.
These kinds of things are a beautiful way to honor TB's memory. Please keep doing them.

This was maybe the first thing with TB's voice I've watched sense his passing (other than his explaining terraria video with him drunk in a chair and jesse in the background). I was more saddened by his passing than I thought I would be and hadn't felt "ready" as silly as that sounds coming from someone who never had the chance to meet or know him. But man that bit was priceless, and I think the animated bits coming out now and then will be a great way for him to still make us smile from time to time and remind us of the lighter side of him. RIP John.
Artists live on forever through their work. I think it's great that even if he's not around, we can all still appreciate TB's humor.

SO glad these will continue, and continue to feature TB. It's only right that he live on through animated humour. I actually thought about this before and I envisioned him being drawn with a halo, like in DBZ. I don't think it's in poor taste. I think TB would want it no other way, honestly.
Keep up the quality content, both to co-optional cast and Julian. And rest in peace, TB. Love ya, miss ya, will never tire of seeing you come back in animated form to bring laughter and joy evermore. Gone but never forgotten.

It's awesome, that the animated podcast will still keep running because of audio material, never really knew how much you liked a person until you no longer have them around. Rest in peace, TB. May you not only find peace in the afterlife, but also may your ideals on gaming live on.
