Also known as "Que Rico El Mambo".
Music by the famous Mexican Bandleader ( born in Cuba 1916, living in Mexico from 1948 until he died in 1989 ) and Songwriter Perez Prado.
I played this song live on my Hammond Elegante.The sound was recorded with seperate micros (Sennheiser MD 441), not with the camara (Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7).
The song „Mambo Jambo" was played by Perez Prado and his orchestra, Fun Time Big Band Tokyo, Naohiro Iwai, Klaus Wunderlich, Mark Shakespeare, Xavier Cugat, Billy Vaughn, Dave Barbour and many others.

from one organist to another thanks for this great video. I had an old Hammond given to me some years ago. but I could not play it as I didn,t know how to set the stops. among other things . so I gave it away.and I am now playing a lowrey organ.

thank you for your friendly comment. The organ has a spring reverb. And it is possible to use a free variable sustain. If I give a little! bit of sustain to the drawbars in combination with the reverb, it makes the sound deeper.

The performance sounds like it's transposed down a whole step from the actual keys being played. Didn't know the Elegante had a transposer.

1. During the days when I recorded " Mambo Jambo" I felt, that I have to record and to upload a new song, but I had not prepared anything yet. Therefore I choosed "Mambo Jambo", because I played this song for a long time before and I thought it will succeed. I played it unconcernedly.

It exists a video on RUclips where she is dancing to the song "Mambo Italiano", but that is another Mambo.

J'ai rien fait moué...^^ lol mais oui j'adore cette chanson et dommage que je n'ai plus d'orgues avec pédalier de basses car je la jouais quasi pareil mais avec un pédalier de 13 basses, lui en a le double. Ce morceau est très très difficile malgré ce qu'il y paraît ! Mais j'en ai toujours le frisson et lui la joue à la perfection c'est un bel artiste écoute ses autres oeuvres même sur clavier korg il maîtrise son affaire !!!
