I use the Nars powder as a buffing/setting powder. I use a big fluffy powder brush that is medium density. So it's not floppy but has some give. But a major downside is the flash back. I hope you find the way to make it work for you, good luck.

Hey! So i looked into the NArd powder, as it looks like a pressed powder i have for oil control. That is what it is made for, oil control. You might want a puff to press it into the areas you get oily/makeup seperates. It is meant to help your makeup last longer/control oil/keep your skin matte. The larger size comes with a puff. I woukdnt use it on your under eyes unless you have oily skin there, as you say you are combo. Hope that helps!

The colourpop lip liner comes out for me, too, but I like the formula a lot so I just tolerate it, haha.

It has great staying power so that makes it hard for me to just toss it!

@beautyandbeyond347 yes, it is better than a lot of other liners I've tried!

I had not even heard of the NARS powder!
I have heard that you are supposed to use your fingers for the Laura Mercier Tinted Blushes and I have seen complaints about it.
Oh that Colour Pop lippie would just make me get rid of it lol.
I hope you get your answers! I am very curious!

I tried using it with my fingers today and underpainted. Still patchy. So weird and disappointing because the colors are so pretty! Unfortunately, they .ay go in the trash. 😔

Maybe the NARS “powder” fulfills the role of a blotting paper? As in, it just absorbs oil without adding powder or pigment? I’m just making assumptions. I want to say Fenty and maybe Rare Beauty came out with something similar (but again, I absolutely refuse to look it up online 😅)

All mascaras, waterproof included, smudge on me but that’s because my skin is super oily

I have the same issue! This is the only waterproof mascara I've tried so I wasnt sure if that was normal. Using a lash primer helps alot!

I have one CP lippie pencil and it does the same thing. I'm assuming that the pigment stick has just become detached from the base of the pencil. I've used the Dr Pawpaw balm on my cheeks in the winter when my skin is super dry, but 90% of uses were on my lips. I finished a mini but did not repurchase.

@@beautyandbeyond347at first I thought you could maybe use it like the lanolips multipurpose balms, which can be used on the face or on the body like elbows and knees or as a hand cream. But after seeing you swatch it, and the pigment on it… 😬 I just don’t know how you could use it anywhere but on your lips. Boy that would take quite a while. Maybe you could depot it into little tins and share it as a lip balm with your daughter or other close friends or family to get through it.

The nars one is stumping me, but the Laura Blushes can't be used as Lipstick?
