Happy birthday! Mine is in February, right after Valentine's Day, which sucks because all the restaurants are packed, and I never know what to ask for since we just did Xmas.

My son's birthday is the next day, he's almost off to college soon and won't be home for our birthdays! So I much rather celebrate him for as long as I can!

Love this idea!! Have written off my eyeshadow collection as something that I know is money sitting on a shelf, but I like to apply this thought to other makeup items so that they don’t just sit in drawers and go unused! Actually making yourself see the money value in something really helps us not go overboard. And if your husband finds out, just tell him to look at my collection. 😂 It’s all about perspective.

I wonder how it would be with weighing cost less than preference. I guess it depends, but for me, I'm more okay with paying more if the quality is super high.

Lust for Dusk is excellent for more muted, almost hazy looks. The name is perfect for it. I love it in autumn and winter and it can look incredibly glamorous and elegant or super grungy. Which I love!

Too Faced Sweet Peach is so underrated. My mom decluttered hers to me a couple of years ago and even though I do forget about it sometimes whenever I use it I’m just in love with the look! Such a great, versatile palette.

I hate that I don’t have the sweet peach palette. 😢 I also decluttered a Nars palette a few years ago and miss it. Oh, the Urban Decay Born to Run also. I am sad that I decluttered that palette. Passion and eccentric are my signature combination of eyeshadow colours. I don't have any ABH palettes but I have many dupes of those shades.

Hi Amy, VegemiteGirl1971 here, with a new name. I don't have the patience to pan a larger palette, such as the Norvina palette, so I prefer panning smaller palettes. I see progress happen faster and if I need different colours, I can bring in another palette for the short term.

Great update!! Honestly, the only thing that is collecting cobwebs now are lip products and unopened foundations! I used to buy every foundation that came out that was recommended for oily skin lol I've been chipping away at them though!

I got that same Korean bb cream and had to give to a friend. I have neutral/warm toned skin and I looked like I was sick with it on! My most proud empty was my milk bronzer stick. Took me forever to finish and broke me out the last month of use

My sweet daughter went through it too, and seeing her grow through that was initially heartbreaking, but then I was so amazed how resilient, wise, and beautiful she is. She will grow into a strong, amazing woman.
