I was doing well with my project of using my palettes at least once, rotating them out each month. However, I was slacking badly in March so I only rotated one new palette for April so I can use the March ones that I did not use.
I also am trying to use my nail polish. I was doing my nails every Sunday, but I did not do them this past Sunday.

Oh, nail polish….! I love seeing nail polishes in projects but it’s kind of maddening how long it actually takes to use one up 😅 it’s really a testament to how color is tied to emotion, because that MUST be why we accrue so many of them when we all know how hard they are to finish

@@beautyandbeyond347 oh, I definitely agree re: seasonality. I for sure have polishes that are ~only~ for winter, summer, etc.
I read the book The Secret Lives of Color I think in 2022 and it was fascinating! It was about the history behind different colors and what they were used for (spoiler alert: a good proportion was related to social class, royalty, etc.). If you’re into nonfiction, I recommend it!
