The fighter Anthony Johnson died this Sunday (11/13), at the age of 38. The athlete's cause of death has not been released.Johnson rose to prominence in MMA after joining the UFC roster of fighters. The American had two stints at Dana White's event. In the cartel, “Rumble” has fights against Brazilians, such as the defeat to Vitor Belfort and the victory over Glover Teixeira, at light heavyweight (up to 91kg).
In his second stint in the UFC, he disputed the under-91kg belt on two occasions, losing both matches against Daniel Cormier and announcing his retirement shortly after the second belt dispute.
Recently, he returned to fight, participating in Bellator, in 2021. Johnson had another fight scheduled for the organization, but had to leave to deal with a health problem.
