I have one of these, with the titanium bracelet. It's currently 5 seconds ahead since I purchased it almost exactly four years ago. The movement in fact is thermo-compensated. Now I have a "low batt" indication, but geez, the accuracy is incredible. My only complaint is the poor visibility of the digital readout in some lighting conditions.
This review leaves no stone unturned in terms of highlighting the great, the good, the bad and the ugly. Has to be among the most balanced and thorough watch reviews out there. Kudos to you, Nick.
I plan on buying one of these for my birthday in 2022. I got an Omega (water) so now I need a timepiece for the air. Thanks for all the great info and details!!
Glad you liked it because my wife just gave me one for my birthday, to repoace the Breitling she gave me as a wedding present several decades ago (that watch has been worn every day for all that time, and it is a bit beat up)
"not necessarily in love with." There's got to be a better way to put that. I get the "I don't love such 'n such" sensitivity to sellers/brands. But it's going too far with "not necessarily in love with". There are so many words available. I know you're a watch collector, but have you considered buying at least one thesaurus? 18:05 Anyway, great video. I bought this watch around the time you bought yours. I got it out of storage recently. Hadn't seen it in about 2 years. I was glad to find out I still love it's looks, perhaps more than ever. If I recall, you sold yours a few years ago. That's a shame.
Another great review Mr. Nick even though I have no interest in purchasing the piece. As an aside, I think tooth picks are perfect for this type of micro adjust clasp on the OE bracelet. They get the job done easily and will not leave any scratches.
Not sure whether to blame you or thank you, but this isn't a watch I would have considered before seeing your review. After seeing your review, it became a bit of a minor obsession culminating in my buying one yesterday (the Night Mission variant). Don't worry, your "don't get into watches" warnings had already come far too late for me....
I was in the same boat with this review except that it was my first watch I absolutely love it so I guess I should say that i blame you/ thank you nick ? Lol
Thanks for a wonderful review. You covered all the pluses and minuses very well. I have had one for at least 8 yrs. now and I still love it. Yes, the single crown for all the functions can be fiddly, but I rarely use them. They are there if I want to use them though. The bracelet fits me better than it does you evidently, because I find it very comfortable. I think it's a very attractive watch and I plan on keeping it for a long time to come. Again, thanks for an informative and entertaining review.
Nice watch and review but I think I'll stay with my Casio LINEAGE LDW-M100TSE-1AJF (fancy titanium Wave Ceptor). At least it remembers the timer setting for my tea and sets itself to atomic time, lol.
Nick just got my Deram watch of all time a Omega speedmaster moonwatch and i love it. Not the new one with the newer moment. And i love the knife reviews as well great stuff Nick many thanks. MM
I have it and love it. But what I dislike from all ana/digi Breitling (ETA) "movements" is that they force you to change them by new ones when you service them every "X" years, as they claim they loose accuracy and can break over time, so it's their policy to maintain the quality up there (🤔)... Maintain the quality? (🤔)... I have no knowledge of any €20 Casio in which you have to change the movement every "X" years under risk of breakage! (🤔)... Is that the "quality" of Breitling? (🤔)
watched the entire review. if you stumble upon the b55 then exospace that’ll be a great watch to review as most of your concerns are dealt with on that model
Ah, I see around the 20:00 mark you answered my question. Funny, every review I've seen on RUclips the reviewer has a bit of trouble with getting the crown twists just right.
The Swiss do make excellent quartz movements. Check out the Tissot T-Touch Solar Expert. Titanium, Ana- digi, altimeter, barometer, compass, dual time zones, chrono, alarm, timer and much better realized UX than the Breitling. That being said, I want the Breitling! Already own the Tissot. Thanks for another watch review Nick, I appreciate them!
This watch makes sense as a quartz watch as does the james bond seamaster. The seamaster warn in the movie was quartz as well. This isn't trying to be a highly finished VC or patek. Wear your quartz watches with pride Nick. You have chosen examples that make sense with the movement.
I usually hate east coast accents as a Brit, but come on I love this review it’s great 😂 this is my grail watch and on that breitling strap it’s stunning I can’t wait to get one!
This reminds me I should've never sold my TAG Heuer Aquaracer. It was such a nice watch. I just might have to buy that again. I want at least one Higher End Quartz in my collection. I have been looking at Breitling for a while. Both for mechanical and quartz but just haven't found the right one.
Nice watch, just not my taste. I would love to see you review the new Citizen Eco-Drive Promaster Satellite Wave F150 GPS Sapphire Watch CC3060-10E. Talk about a travel king. Updates time/date automatically anywhere on the planet. 7-year power reserve! All in a new, compact case with a simple, clean, military-style dial. (yes, I just ordered one)
My crown is so highly polished that it is difficult to change functions. I also don't like having to enter the timer amounts every time I wish to use the timer. If I have to take a reading every 30 minutes let's say, I have to set 30 minutes every time it counts down. With my Casio, I press timer and it starts counting down. 30 minutes again.
Would like to see you review the Certina DS Multi-8, it has three pushers to control all functions and only one screen. High accuracy quarz and quite a bit cheaper in the US. You can pick up the silver dial for 249$, whilst I paid 790€ for mine over here in Europe. But it is a great combo watch with many of the same functions and it has both vibrating and sound alarms. So it works well as an alarm clock.
I had NO idea one of my "end game" watches had a minute repeater. So many other watches use the same movement for less price (but no titanium, nice ergos, etc etc) so I have to wonder, are there less expensive watches that also have the minute repeater function that I can buy RIGHT NOW? The problem with most watches on my list is that they are getting rarer and rarer.
Ive got the original one, its from 94, its classy, good looking and fantastic size, something the new ones arent... I really wish I could get a new one in the same style and size as the original ones 😥 its my favorite watch in my collection of omega, oris, other bretlings and seiko...
My main reason for no longer buying quartz is the fact that the watch my dad gave my as a teenager just gave up the ghost after a few decades. The watch maker said it was to be expected, and with the movement being out of production since the 90's there is precious little I could do other than find a similar watch on the secondhand market and source the movement hoping it will run for another few years. Now I am sure higher quality quartz exist that will last a lifetime. But for me, it was the major reason to go mechanical. I buy , for example, a Speedmaster and with some maintenance every decade or so it will easily outlive me. You buy the watch and (theoretically) never buy another, then give it to your (grand) son when you are old af.
I am sick 🤮 I've cougt the sickness. I've gotten into watches. Now I dream about the Breitling Aerospace Evo, I check RUclips several times a day for new videos about it, I've seen them all. Seen this video now 5 times. I have concluded that no other than this exact reference you have, will do. The newest, black dial, rubber bracelet. Dann it. Is is penicillin or is it heroine, if I were to buy it? Will I be cured or drawn deeper inn? Also : what would be an alternative to this watch? Are there any that has the same ruggedness, and look & feel?
I always like the Aerospace design!👍 I owned one 18 yrs ago! It was smaller then and was $1500 with full Ti bracelet from Tourneau, NYC. It's sharp edges kept getting caught in my expensive sweaters fraying them so bye bye it went.👎
I’m not getting into watches on that note can any one recommend a minimalist digital watch that just tells time all I want is a 24 hour option that’s not ugly as shit cough cough “g-shock”
Iiii dont know.... I like Breitling but their digital display watches just seem a bit off to me. Nothing wrong with them of course but in general the displays just look like an afterthought to me
imo, with the controls it would be nice if there was a second button on the opposite side that didn't do anything else on its own, but acted as a modifier key for whatever you're doing with the main button and crown.
Why would anyone compare a quartz watch to a mechanical? You wouldn't compare an AMG V8 naturally aspirated engine to a Tesla electric power plant. They both serve a purpose but are from two different eras. The Aerospace serves a purpose as a tool watch. It's not designed for the so called fan boys of mechanical watches.
Nick I rather enjoyed your review, word of advice; slow down.... when God made time s/he, it, made plenty of it, no need to race along. Still, I enjoyed your energy and interest, keep up the good work!
Nothing wrong with a good Quartz watch! It's so accurate. As long as the fit and finish is top notch, the watch is top notch!
I love them both; quartz and mechanical, they both have their role.

This is an excellent, thorough and extremely helpful review. Thanks for a job well done and for taking the time to post this, Mr. Shabazz
Provably the only review that I enjoyed. Excellent approach and the accent does wonders
15 minutes in, I look at the overall time and realize this is the longest Nick review to date.
I plan on buying one of these for my birthday in 2022. I got an Omega (water) so now I need a timepiece for the air. Thanks for all the great info and details!!
Goodness Nick, I do love your energy and your enthusiasm. Your wonderful .
You're
Someone had to do it. :)
Thanks for the shout , we LOVE to contribute to your bad habits!
Oh, don't I know that.
Very useful indeed, you wouldn't want to disembark the plane too soon, like in midair...
Will have one next week ! Neat review as,always Nick !
I've bought my Aerospace (EVO, Volcano Black) a couple of days after watching your great review, thanks a lot Mr. Shabazz!
The weight on my wrist would be more than without because there's a wrist in it. Love it Nick.
Glad you liked it because my wife just gave me one for my birthday, to repoace the Breitling she gave me as a wedding present several decades ago (that watch has been worn every day for all that time, and it is a bit beat up)

Great watch update, I am thinking of getting the Aerospace and your overtime reviews are great.
Another great review Mr. Nick even though I have no interest in purchasing the piece. As an aside, I think tooth picks are perfect for this type of micro adjust clasp on the OE bracelet. They get the job done easily and will not leave any scratches.

I was in the same boat with this review except that it was my first watch I absolutely love it so I guess I should say that i blame you/ thank you nick ? Lol
6:20 - "...just light up like a freaking Christmas tree..." - LMAO!!! That was funny dude.
Thanks for a wonderful review. You covered all the pluses and minuses very well. I have had one for at least 8 yrs. now and I still love it. Yes, the single crown for all the functions can be fiddly, but I rarely use them. They are there if I want to use them though.

I missed your watch reviews. You can get a similar watch with solar charging and Swiss quartz in the Tissot T touch for about $ 600. Best wishes.
The T-Touch is a nice piece, but lacks for lume, and I didn't find the interface compelling. But it is on my list!
Nice watch and review but I think I'll stay with my Casio LINEAGE LDW-M100TSE-1AJF (fancy titanium Wave Ceptor). At least it remembers the timer setting for my tea and sets itself to atomic time, lol.

How can I put the Aerospace getting a sound every hours? Do you know how?
Thanks.
The minute hand ticks every 30". Maybe this helps battery life? Solar would have worked well here IMO.
Excellent review Nick: when I get the Bread $$$ I will be buying one ... thanks for great reviews....
Just picked myself up an F-16 one. Pretty awesome !
watched the entire review. if you stumble upon the b55 then exospace that’ll be a great watch to review as most of your concerns are dealt with on that model
Nick, do you find that switching between displays via crown-twists is inconsistent? Meaning, the crown is "finicky".
Ah, I see around the 20:00 mark you answered my question. Funny, every review I've seen on RUclips the reviewer has a bit of trouble with getting the crown twists just right.
Another great review. I'm also a big fan of high end quartz watches. Have you any more watch reviews coming up that we can look forward to?
Absolutely
The Swiss do make excellent quartz movements. Check out the Tissot T-Touch Solar Expert. Does anyone know how the bracelet is called or where to get it?
Very good and very interesting thank you I was going to buy one but now will think long and hard before I purchase one
I usually hate east coast accents as a Brit, but come on I love this review it’s great 😂 this is my grail watch and on that breitling strap it’s stunning I can’t wait to get one!
I like how the minute hand moves
This reminds me I should've never sold my TAG Heuer Aquaracer. It was such a nice watch. I just might have to buy that again. I want at least one Higher End Quartz in my collection. I have been looking at Breitling for a while. Both for mechanical and quartz but just haven't found the right one.
OK. So what is the Japanese alternative to this? Is there anything better?
How do you not get scratches on the clasp of the bracelet?
Nice watch, just not my taste. I would love to see you review the new Citizen Eco-Drive Promaster Satellite Wave F150 GPS Sapphire Watch CC3060-10E. Talk about a travel king. Updates time/date automatically anywhere on the planet. 7-year power reserve! All in a new, compact case with a simple, clean, military-style dial. (yes, I just ordered one)
Or the f900, which I bought
Great Review Nick! Always nice to see high accuracy quartz pieces in detail. Have you ever thought about reviewing a Bulova Curv watch?
I think you confused 5bar(or atm) with 5m again when you compared it to the omega
Damnit. Lol.
lol the point stays tho, 50m still unacceptable these days
My crown is so highly polished that it is difficult to change functions.
I also don't like having to enter the timer amounts every time I wish to use the timer. If I have to take a reading every 30 minutes let's say, I have to set 30 minutes every time it counts down. With my Casio, I press timer and it starts counting down. 30 minutes again.
Great watch, love mine, but hate the titanium bracelet. But except for that it is a fantastic watch in all sense of the word fantastic.
Is that clasp made out of brushed titanium or brushed steel?
Would like to see you review the Certina DS Multi-8, it has three pushers to control all functions and only one screen. High accuracy quarz and quite a bit cheaper in the US. You can pick up the silver dial for 249$, whilst I paid 790€ for mine over here in Europe. But it is a great combo watch with many of the same functions and it has both vibrating and sound alarms. So it works well as an alarm clock.
How do you set the time to the second?
Black Dial or Tungsten Grey?
great information. great wearing watch. the cloth band feels great.
I don't even bother with the difficult operations of this watch. I love it on looks alone. I wish the 2 blank spaces weren't on the face.
Great video. I have one of these on the way thanks to this video
I have the same watch, just one year older. Probably my favorite watch despite it being quartz
Ive got the original one, its from 94, its classy, good looking and fantastic size, something the new ones arent... I really wish I could get a new one in the same style and size as the original ones 😥 its my favorite watch in my collection of omega, oris, other bretlings and seiko...

Is there a chance you can review a Superocean II?
Maybe!
I am sick 🤮 I've cougt the sickness. I've gotten into watches. Now I dream about the Breitling Aerospace Evo, I check RUclips several times a day for new videos about it, I've seen them all. Watches aside, i think you should really see a doc. 🧐
minute repeater timing @11:27 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The digital display is barely readable. They should have fixed that defect years ago. It is not a cheap watch.....
I always like the Aerospace design!👍 I owned one 18 yrs ago! It was smaller then and was $1500 with full Ti bracelet from Tourneau, NYC.
It's sharp edges kept getting caught in my expensive sweaters fraying them so bye bye it went.👎
Do you have UTC time ?
You can set T2 to any time zone you'd like, UTC included
That is a very beautiful watch and I like your style
I’m not getting into watches on that note can any one recommend a minimalist digital watch that just tells time all I want is a 24 hour option that’s not ugly as shit cough cough “g-shock”
this was one of the first titanium "luxury" watches and the fact that it has endured tells me it's selling
Good review. Great watch.
This is the best review of Aerospace. Which finally convinced me not to buy it though :)
Thank you for making this!
Really enjoy the ranting 😂 Just got Avantage today :)
Love me some high end quartz. Just wish i didnt feel i would get beaten to death for my watch if i wore a Breitling
Just shout "DO NOT GET INTO WATCHES!!! SERIOUSLY IT'S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!!!" over and over again at the muggers. #BadAdvice
Nick Shabazz or just yell "IT'S A 30 DOLLAR FAKE"
where the fuck do you live? somalia?
Just carry...
Are you going to get me into watches?
I could never get mine to adjust time properly.
Iiii dont know.... I like Breitling but their digital display watches just seem a bit off to me. Nothing wrong with them of course but in general the displays just look like an afterthought to me
"On my wrist it'll weigh more because there's a wrist in it." :D :D :D
Thankfully, I bought myself a Longines VHP.
Nick, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Citizen AT4010-50E.
Thank you
I'm looking for a "field, ana-digi" but most ana-digi's are big gordy "Chrono-divers". No need with a digital multi dispay.
Sensacional um sonho de consumo que espero conseguir se assim Deus abençoar Oi tocar no coração de alguém para nos abençoar e lindo ,lindo demais .
You got me into watches
Great review. But thankfully I'm not into watches... thanks for sharing..
>watches are measured in metric
>weighs watch in ounces
>Europeanly confused
It’s nice looking, but I have to say it, I would never buy quartz at that price point. But glad you are enjoying it.
Today i learned that i belong to a subset of people..
Love this watch
imo, with the controls it would be nice if there was a second button on the opposite side that didn't do anything else on its own, but acted as a modifier key for whatever you're doing with the main button and crown.
It's like a Casio Wave Ceptor made love to a Cadillac.
That is one of watches I want next
It's a very handsome watch.
FINALLY!! :P
Glad you found the rubber option so you could make it work for ya. I still don’t get it, but I am glad you found yourself a favorite!
That voice 👌🏼👌🏼

I WOULD NEVER BUY QUARTZ!!!!!lol just had to say it haha
There's always one! 🤣
Nick Shabazz I just said it because you asked for it haha
Love it.
Seiko Astron is the best travel watch in my opinion. This looks a bit tacky.
No offense, this watch looks like a glorified g-shock. I think you should do a comparison video of this versus a 150$ g-shock.
I mentioned in the video that the G-Shock, particularly a radio-controlled one, can excel this guy functionally.
Casio is king and I,m in my fifties! I guess I will be shot at dawn now.!
And no seconds hand either!
Oh, nice Casio.
Nick I rather enjoyed your review, word of advice; slow down.... when God made time s/he, it, made plenty of it, no need to race along. Still, I enjoyed your energy and interest, keep up the good work!
