    I'm usually very weary of taking information given to me by youtubers simply bc as over time they need to strike that "balance" in order to not scare off the brands that supply almost all their products to review, so their reviews become muddled with a lot of tiptoeing around certain topics or completely steering away from pointing out things that may may shine a negative light on a product. And with RUclipsrs that are on a small channel a lot of misinformation is usually given because of their lack of research, which in turns steers me away from them. But you, i can say so far out of the few videos that i have watched from you I have been nothing but impressed. Accurate information, easily viewable side-by-side examples, straight to the point, well articulated, and it seems like you understand your tech. So I have been impressed a lot with your content so far. Hopefully your content stays as honest as it is portrayed as ur channel and your success grows. If I could suggest future ideas or points for future videos I would like for you to exstensively cover the Samsung ecosystem as much as other tend to do with Apple's ecosystem. Not the basic stuff that most do, but more so things I rarely see in most videos such as Samsung Internet(ad blocking features built in, memory features, its auto log in performance and limitations), Samsung Dex and its capabilities when compared to a regular computer, not so much in terms of speed but function( for example google docs on Dex when compared to how it appears and functions on a computer), Android Auto, and such. Also I would really like to see more videos on future things consumers would like to have or like a "where to improve in the future" theory videos bc there is not alot out there. But any way keep up the good work and continue to grow. Also what you think the big redesign will try and do since they hired that one guy on at Samsung?

    9:30 Point 8 regarding "the expression of movement" seems like it may have finally fixed the issue. Up till now, when taking pictures of my kids, my S24U has would usually select shutter speed of 1/33s, which obviously resulted in a blurry shots. The few images I have taken since the update have used 1/100s, which although still a bit slow, is a lot better than before.
    This higher shutter speed may also explain why the building outside in the example in the video wasn't so overexposed.

    And tell me, what do you think about photos in higher resolutions? Let's take a photo at 50 megapixels, no matter whether normal or 5X zoom. A few seconds after taking the photo, a smoky filter overlaps the photo, making the photo look tragic, it looks completely different from what we saw on the smartphone screen. It's similar with 200mpix photos, photos in higher resolutions are useless. in S23 Ultra at 108mpix I took beautiful, razor-sharp photos and they looked exactly as we saw them on the screen. I will add that this happens even if we turn off photo processing. hopeless, they haven't improved anything on this topic. Are you aware of this?, no one talks about it anywhere, and it occurs in every single copy. The S24 Ultra has a lot of problems, much more than the S23 Ultra. Apparently, Samsung explains nonsense that photos in higher resolutions are processed differently, and that it is supposed to be that way. But how can this be so? after all, these photos are useless, since they look completely different from the image seen on the smartphone screen, in this case there is no point in using them at all. We pay for a premium smartphone and we have to use only 12 megapixels for normal photos? It's embarrassing how you can publicize this matter. Samsung tried to convince us when it came to the colors that it was supposed to be like that, but they have already improved it. Now it's time for higher resolutions, something is definitely wrong with it, somehow the 108mpix in the S23 Ultra took razor-sharp photos and there was no talk of processing anything else.

      Exactly. That's the biggest issue that still persist even after update. There was a lot of roar arround the weak vividness and other minor subjects, but this one which makes 50/200 MP photos unusable has been ignored. I hope, they're aware about that and it gonna be solved in next update.

    • @chochic10
      @chochic10 7 месяцев назад +4

      im using 50 and 200 on the otherhand because while 12mp is ok. when zooming in on the photos took by 12mp, i can see lots of grains unless there is super good lighting. unlike 50 and 200 where you can take smooth pictures and no grains when zooming on the photos took. but the post processing kills it. there are times when it it acceptable. but i would prefer to have the picture exactly what is shown in my viewfinder. they shouls have an option to turn this off. so im stuck between 12mp and grainy photos when zooming or clear 50 and 200mp large file photos but unrealistic overprocessed filter. someone pls make a video out of this and tag samsung

    From my research online a few weeks ago about it, the grain is more than likely an issue with the display itself (because my phone is also grainy in dark, dimly lit colours), the issue is apparently because of something called 'Mura'. The only reason it isn't noticed is because the company that makes the phone with the Oled Panel has quality assurance tests applied after the Oled screen is produced, to, what they call 'de-murafy', removing the grain to such an extent that is becomes imperceptible.
    The initial batch of Samsung s24 Ultra mostly had this issue, but not all of them. I'd heard online that s24 Ultras made in certain countries were more likely to have the issue.
    Some people returned their phones because of this & got a bew phone replacement, but the grain issue was still there.
    Next time you're on your settings screen, turn on dark mode, make it really, really dim & put it under your top. You should be able to see that the grain doesn't actually move, which indicates that's it's actually an issue with the display itself.

    Is anyone complaining about photos are over processed in auto mode? even you turn off or tone down the "Intelligent Optimisation > Minimum/Medium" and Under the Camera Assistant > Auto HRD = Off specially when shooting 50MP or 200MP you will see or catch the phone is processing the photo and doing HRD thingy. It makes the darker area brighter but almost clipping the bright areas. This is why I shoot mostly now in Pro-Mode.... In Pixel 8 Pro you can turn off this under the Auto HRD and it will reduce the post processing and making the photo closer to the actual.

    To be fair to Samsung they were probably right not to have the vivid slider, but it does look better with it. The reality is that even if it looks vivid on the phone screen it will lose that vividness when printed or viewed on any other screen. Editing on a vivid screen will mean that edits to photos or video will not look the same on any other device. That being said I'll probably turn vivid right up as it looks good

    You can't ask that huge price, and claim you are selling a flagship, while you have those old sensors, and a catastrophic way of processing images and videos. Yeah, S24 Ultra is not just it's cameras, it's also its bad battery, it's slow charging compared to competitors, it's missing fast charger, the myriad of bugs which weren't solved on the S23 Ultra, but now they are even more on the S24 Ultra, it's screen with low PWM which damages the vision and the sleep of many people, that display with no Dolby Vision support, no 10 or 12 bit color space. But let me tell you what S24 Ultra really is: is a rehashed S23 Ultra with just some software updates and those Ai fancy features for which Samsung paid Google to have a few months of exclusivity, before they will be rolled on all Android 14 smartphones. S24 Ultra is a slap on the face of the S23 Ultra customers who didn't get the proper updates and fixes for the price they paid for this phone, while Samsung decided to release an S24 Ultra with some software optimisations which should have been released since summer 2023 on the S22 and the S23 Ultra to fix the mess they made. As I said, you can be as much as a fanboy as you want, in the end your channel only praises Samsung, but the truth is that Samsung flagships are overpriced garbage phones, overtaken in features, hardware, performance, design and software by many other smartphone companies who really inovate from one year to another.

So once i got the 15pro i was like wth, it feels the same as the 14P its slow laggy like its brand new wth, turns out My wifes too and my Dads too, (we all have the Pros) so i got tired and A WEEK later of getting my iPhone 15 Pro i buy the S24 Ultra, and maaan oohhh maaan Its superior in every way, its faster, the Screen is just so much better, The battery life is Soooo greaaat and The fast charging, like i dont get to see it often cause my phone doesn't die, but yesterday i binged watched a Show for hours on full brightness!! And I got home at 16% I put it to charge while i showered changed then went out to eat with my wife and noticed my phone was at 90% of battery LIKE WTHHH we got home did everything in like 30 min or less and i went from 16% to 90!!!! This Phones just Immaculate.

    Watching on my iPhone 13, not a lover or hater for Android or IOS, but like a lot of customers out there I just can’t decide. Was thinking of the iPhone 14 Pro but the Samsung S24+ looks appealing also. My “fear” is that I might regret it and wanting to go back to iOS 😂 I did that before with a OnePlus phone. But, if I look at the European models of the S24 and the plus model, they are not equipped with the Snapdragon that was released in the US etc. That’s a bit of a bummer for me. Toss out experiences are welcome, greetings from the Netherlands 👍🏻

    Here's the deal I really need your help with this guys cause I'm really struggling. I'm having a really difficult time with Apple right now I have all their products I have the Apple Watch Ultra which I really like probably my favorite Apple product and then I have my iPhone 15 Pro Max Win terabyte I have a MacBook Pro I have a 2018 iPad Pro Still works great but here's my issue. There's no multitasking on my phone which is killing me and my iPhone 15 Pro Max feels exactly like my iPhone 13 Pro Max, which felt like my iPhone 11 felt like my iPhone X and so many ways. I don't know if I'm going crazy, but it's really hard to buy the same phone over and over again and Siri is complete garbage and I really want company is going to lean into AI and also lean into strong features like multitasking and things that Samsung is doing and I think someone said it when they said Apple wants to sell you multiple products so if they make one product better than the other product, you might just buy one product. I feel that way about the iPhone if it were as good as the Samsung phones with multitasking in AI maybe wouldn't buy that tablets me know your thoughts I'm just getting bored with Apple and I feel like they never really innovate that much and I'm use all their default apps because I try to support the stock situation but I really find myself bored. Let me know if you can help me through this, I wonder if I should get a Samsung S24 ultra or S25 ultra down the line to feel something different.
    Have you guys ever felt this way here's another thing voice texting on iPhone is painful. I remember having android phones and really appreciating how accurate the voice texting was that actually actually bumps me out about Apple to. Also, how can you sell? A premium smartphone has to have such a terrible assistant. Siri literally feels like they just forgot and literally don't care anymore.
    Thoughts 💭 make it make sense I didn't wanna leave Apple, but I feel like apples leaving me and it's really hard to make sense of it all right now.

    I saw nothing was changed with a camera at S24 Ultra... Only display colors. Nothing at x10, x5 zoom, nothing at refresh rate (was 24-120 Hz), nothing at night mode. I've made lots of pictures... Nothing. Why we got 600+ Mb useless empty update???? I was expexted to see improvement in Expert RAW. They compressed all gradients to ugly 8 bit and they processed RAW. .. also app make fuse from 2-9 shots, but you cannot set up ISO and other parameters 😅useless. If you switch to just taking one RAW the app will over-proces it to make "better" what, why? What the point?? You will get wanished mess of pixels instead of getting RAW😢

    Pro tip: Never mess with display colors; it's better to turn Vivid off. You never want to see the wrong colors. For example, if you're editing a photo, you may think the saturation is great, but if you view it on another phone, it will be undersaturated.

    • @therealdeal4492
      @therealdeal4492 7 месяцев назад

      I agree...when editing pics and videos you want the colors to be what others see and not what your over saturated phone is...

      @Atreusz it will look fine to you. Then you share it with someone, it doesn’t look the same. People love iPhones for the consistency and color accuracy, FYI. Editing a photo is just one example to understand that it's not a good habit to adjust the display colors.

    The vividness is affecting pictures taken in sunny condition badly. It's turning everything red-green and it is quite unappealing. The Teck community has ruined this great device finally because even if you don't put the vividness slider on, Samsung has already gone ahead and brought this saturation to the camera. Are you in the vivid mode on the S24 Ultra making the camera comparison?

    Thank you Daniel for an in-depth tour of the pre & post-update. I've only had mine for about a week and have only begun to scratch the surface. I agree with you on the Vivid slider. It puts the punch back in. I didn’t use it on the S23+ I upgraded from and feel the new Gorilla glass may have something to do with it. I'm amazed with the camera so far. I love the CPU. My apps update in seconds on a WiFi down of about 660MB and moving media files is very quick. I haven't used the stylus much yet as I've been spending quite a bit of time reorganizing my Gallery. I moved up from a 512MB S23+ to a 1TB S24 Ultra. Look forward to more of your excellent insights into this phone!
