Really good analysis. Good understanding of intricate details. Question: Should Barca buy LW in summer to play 4-3-3 or should they continue playing 4-4-2 with Pedri and Gavi as interiors?
Great analysis. How can you expect Real Madrid to keep up with intensity, if their players are literally exhausted and Ancelotti refuses to make more changes earlier. He did 2 changes minute 62 and 3 changes minute 76. But Benzema was out of the game from start to finish and Modric and Cross looked out of breath in more than one occasion, Cross not having any repercussion in the whole game whatsoever. As a culé I enjoy winning every Clásico and seeing all the players and the crowd giving it all out, but let's be honest, Real Madrid weren't even competing.
Real could probably beat us if they play haram ball and try get vinicious in behind, but if pedri and dembele can play again in 2 weeks i think another victory is likely. Imo opinion its all on Ancelotti to figure out on the chalkboard, for him to go on a 4 loss streak and eliminated from domestic trophies is mostly on him, the same way Xavi mostly to blame for Barcas Europeon exits.
What else they will play with less intensity less pressing no trackbacks and more blunder in defence coz forward will work less..and again out of europa coz you are not qualifying from ucl group stages...🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@JR-Weh And ?😂 Barca is a really young team and still Gavi, Padri, Araujo and Balde are amazing. With a strong backbone the team will slowly start wining. La Liga is already won. Next season it will only get better.
Great video and analysis again, as always. Not sure I agree with your closing statements about Real though and your narrative here that Barca are good and Real are bad. Yes, Real play conservative attacking football and never seem to be high in intensity, but last year their entire CL run was built on that. Every round in the KO stage was characterised by a high intensity team dominating them, but for them to stay in the game, never let their heads drop, and strike when the opposition was tired and their conservative style saw them with greater energy levels at the end. They weren't necessarily the better team over any of the matches (except maybe the first leg against chelsea, because of, as you described, Vinicius getting the better of Christensen but it all changed when Reece James went to RB), but Ancelotti's set up that you described here was the key to it.
If Raphinia like playing inside why can't he be part of 4 man midfield and play as right interior...This means Dembele can play at RW...So both are accommodated and we get more creativity and goal threat from midfield
The issue is ball retention, while Pedri is amazing at keeping the ball Raphinha not so much and him playing there leads to turnovers although it's an option still but not so likely.
@@arditarmadhi5108 Pedri can even play next to Fdj or even as left interior...This is only way I see both Raphinia and Dembele starting ...Also Raphinia is excellent pressser and his link up play is very good
on the ball intelligence is the main difference, knowing when to rotate vs when to go for the killer pass. Rafinha is missing that ovwr pedri, Rafinha typically prefer offensive options (shot, forward pass and dribbles) and they aren't the best option always. admittedly his decison making has gotten a lot better over the season, but pedri plays that role like a seasoned veteran.
@@leonronnie Of course it's not a clear cut choice...And of course u need to make some sacrifice...Pedri can play even as left interior...And this would help Balde and make us more creative from left side...coz from right Dembele and Raphinia are perfect for creativity...one goes wide and other cuts in...A nightmare for defenders...With this we don't even need an offensive RB...And intelligence improves with experience...The more Raphinia plays the more he improves...And Raphinia btw he is pretty intelligent...The runs he makes where Busquets drops a ball right on his head for goals before Madeid match shows he has intelligence
5:58 you’re a wizard, Harry Joking aside, I also could not believe how static Real were, and look even worse the more you watch it back. The fullbacks have nothing to offer when going forward, they’re simply not that kind of players.
I feel that stats in the beginning about Real taking more time in their build up is misleading. Because La ligua with low team offcourse it will be that way : madrid will have to take its time because the opponent close the game, but in games where the opponent plays with the ball and oppen the game, if they have space they will attack directly they wont take their time while Barça no matter the situation they often take their time for the build up.
Do you guys think we can match the intensity of playing against Bayern now? Since Muller said before we couldn't match their intensity. Really hope that we can face them in the future and get revenge.
We had more intensity then them in Munich in a game we should've won but that's football for u,the issue vs Bayern this season is that the team wasn't yet ready to play how Xavi wants against elite opponents
We have been very unlucky in CL this year, deserved to win in Munich, a penalty not given in Milan, with a draw there, Barça would went through the group stage. Not to mention, that Kounde and Araujo were injured, both games against Inter.
Barca is still not ready for Europe. Xavi's record in ucl and Europa is very poor. We still needs reinforcement in the team to compete, until that they should focus on la Liga for coming seasons.
We don't have the elite wingers Bayern has at their disposal. Fo the other positions i think we can match them, but all of Gnabry, Mane, Sane, Musiela, Coman ar emuch better hen Ansu Ferran fo example. Only Demeble and raphinia are at decent level.
Thanks for the analysis and the video, I like it. But I think generally, the game was an open one, and both teams committed mistakes or have shown weaknesses, and so strengths for a total of 90 minutes. You only cropped out few situations among all and use these as an argument to make a point that, it is why Barca won. Essentially, i agree, but my point is you could also do a similar video by cropping the Real Madrid fine moments to make a point that they could had won the match against Barca. For instance, that offside goal, I you see total of 7 RM players were attacking the Barca box 😀
So then how do they make these full comebacks if they're down by like 3 goals, did they use a similar structure against Liverpool? Like how do they turn their games around if the structure doesn't help create chances or threats?
I always thought Real used to play direct and quick no nonsense passing football. Thought that was inside their DNA.. But it seems like they adore their rivals and their impossible to copy playstyle so much, they think they can do it as well? It is that Real has so much quality over the rest of the league that it's not showing how bad it actually is, but it's bad.
As a Real Madrid fan, i was so desperate we were just relying on Vinicius creativity. For many years, Zidane and Carlo have relied on individuals, with many goats at their prime (benzema, luka, courtois, cristiano, bale, casemiro, varane) and that was barely fine since Barcelona was a sinking ship (relying just on messi for many years) and we could afford wining titles. Now Xavi is here, they are getting back on some serious level, with so much IQ, and we need new managers with fresh ideas. I wish that could be Klopp, but who knows. We need some revolution, like Mourinho's since 2010
I’d love to hear your thoughts on how/if Messi would fit into this Barcelona side. I know it’s probably a long shot for him to rejoin the team but they would likely benefit immensely on the attacking side having a playmaker of his caliber but with how aggressive they are on the defensive front I just wonder how negatively it would affect the intensity of their press. Obviously I’d love to see Messi in a Barcelona shirt again but I’m just curious what you or anyone else thinks!

I watched the game and didn't notice much of this. Great analysis.
Love to watch these vids to make sure my analyses are correct and see if i missed anything. Keep it up man love your vids
They won't
Football purist once again lifting my depression, I swear to god if you make a podcast imma listen to it everyday on the drive to work
Can you make a video about what happen ( tactical) if Messi back at Barcelona ? i think it will be interesting
What else they will play with less intensity less pressing no trackbacks and more blunder in defence coz forward will work less..and again out of europa coz you are not qualifying from ucl group stages...🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bro just did the best analysis with the promotion 😂❤
Amazing in depth analysis as always
Why the RUclips algorithm didn’t show me your channel before? 😂love your work
The crazy shit is that Barca is a really young team.
Xavi is slowly building a monster.
4-0🤫
@@JR-Weh And ?😂
Barca is a really young team and still Gavi, Padri, Araujo and Balde are amazing.
With a strong backbone the team will slowly start wining.
La Liga is already won. Next season it will only get better.
@avalle4493 what about Lewandowski and busquets????? Are they also young?
Barca pretty much have RM figured all out, props to them they deserve it.
Kounde, what a player
Really enjoy your analysis. Keep up the good work.
6:53 you barely gave us even half a second!!!😂😂
Amazing video! Keep it up😁
Remember when Real Madrid fans chanted "Xavi Stay" when barca lost 3-1?? Yeeee ain't so funny now is it!?
Yeah dude 🤣🤣🤣 they thought they were so sick.
This is my time coming across your channel and am really impressed Perfect Analysis.
This video aged like fine wine :)
8:25 the advertising poster says what Gavi does 😂
Quality content, keep it up!
They weren't necessarily the better team over any of the matches (except maybe the first leg against chelsea, because of, as you described, Vinicius getting the better of Christensen but it all changed when Reece James went to RB), but Ancelotti's set up that you described here was the key to it.
broo u got yourself a sub loved your analysis!
Very nice explanation.
One of the videos Graham Potter MUST watch ASAP
@@satyamsaurabh8060 and where would gavi play because without him Barcelona's intensity is greatly reduced
Well done!
This was really good thankyou
5:58 you’re a wizard, Harry
Joking aside, I also could not believe how static Real were, and look even worse the more you watch it back. The fullbacks have nothing to offer when going forward, they’re simply not that kind of players.
Football is truly beautiful, happy to see Xavis Barça evolving
Your analysis is Soo cool man😎
Thoughts on transfer rumour videos and how they will fit in the team? And if you think if it's a good signing or not
Awesome analysis😊
Please make a video of the pros and importantly the CONS if...IF we are able to bring back the GOAT
I'd gladly take Messi back at a sub with reduced salary.
i see mostly cons as one of the bases of our recent succes is our high press and with messi we wouldn´t be able to do it
I thought something had looked off with how Madrid were playing but I was really high & focused so this is cool to see now lol.
I would’ve liked to seen more analysis on carvajals performance overall great video!
this was amazing
Great content, thank you!
@@Gamer4lyf100 Agree we need solid replacement to our key players. Squad depth is needed to compete at the highest stages.
Great analysis on the the pressing system barca is using...
Nice analysis brother… plz make a preview video of copa 2nd leg
Bro. Imagine Ancelotti actually improve his stand against Barca after watching this video
😂
Xavi BARÇA is tactical team it'll be hard for RM to get a win
Doubt he will. He relies on individuals to bail him out more often than not at madrid
You should be the next Barcelona manager bruv😂💯 great analysis. Thanks for the uploads
what editing program do you use bro??
Militao running upfield is not an ancelotti invention! he's played as a RB since his youth days and he did an amazing job as a RB in the world cup.
Your videos are amazing please do more
I miss your videos please do more
As a Real Madrid fan, i was so desperate we were just relying on Vinicius creativity. We need some revolution, like Mourinho's since 2010
Klopp will give you 6 years of magic like He does at every club.
@@Ghost_of_Gaby that would be great
i learned so much from this video 😭😭
BEST WAY TO END THE NIGHT
I'm just happy for my Barcelona and Barcelona for ever
And Kroos moves as fast as quick sand. Yikes, is there a stat for negative speed?
I’d love to hear your thoughts on how/if Messi would fit into this Barcelona side. I know it’s probably a long shot for him to rejoin the team but they would likely benefit immensely on the attacking side having a playmaker of his caliber but with how aggressive they are on the defensive front I just wonder how negatively it would affect the intensity of their press. Obviously I’d love to see Messi in a Barcelona shirt again but I’m just curious what you or anyone else thinks!
It would be a dream seeing Messi on wing giving Lewy assist left and right *_*
Lewa's back heel pass destroyed whole madrid.....dude is not just a striker....he is a playmaking striker
We need more barca vids
bro which app or software do you use to add analysis of the player which you had done in your video at 0:16 second
