    This works amazing. I found if you go over the mould once and leave it for a minute or two the second time it comes off very easy. Perfect solution -very happy. Thanks for sharing.

    I watched this video this morning, went out and bought some bleach and the mop. I just finished my eaves and your hack worked brilliantly. I’m a lady in my 60s and can’t afford to pay someone to do the job. Thankyou 🙏🙏.

    I was going thru all my options, either painting or replacing the eaves when I came across your video. I achieved a fantastic result. My eaves are 25 years old and now they look like they were just painted. Thanks for posting this video - I cant stop looking at my eaves as they look so clean now.

    Just finished doing 40 metres of eaves that haven't been cleaned for 18 years. Followed your instructions and they came up like new. I'm 82 so if I can do it so can others. Needs a bit of elbow grease but I just took it nice and slow.

Im about to buy the Sabco mop and some rubber gloves cause I have a feeling Im going to have to rinse the mop head and goo again!!!!

    Fantastic advice. I couldn't find a large green mop head to suit a handle, so had to use a smaller yellow dry mop head. It worked just fine, a lot of fine microfibre everywhere but easy to get rid of. I'll definitely use the spray bottle next time.

    Thanks Bill! Couldn't have been better timing as I need to clean my eaves. A couple of my eaves are popping out because the nails have rusted, going to replace any loose nails with stainless steel nails so I don't have to worry about it ever again.

    Those Sabco mops are brilliant! I've been using them for 10+ years. Only thing I do different here is take the fluffy end off and dip it in the water/bleach but this looks so much easier. Might have to invest in a sprayer! Cheers!

    I laughed uproariously at this “easy hack”. It is not an easy hack. Fine if it is just one panel of the eaves, but if you are going to clean under the eaves of your whole house, it is really, really hard work. I had already cleaned my eaves in exactly the same way, using virtually the products, before I had seen this video and I am never, ever going to clean my eaves this way again. I was searching for products that you spray on and leave - of which there are a number - when I came across this video.

      Any Regular cleaning bleach is fine. I purchase it from local hardware store (bunnings) for around $2-3 dollars 👍

      Hi John, unfortunately they have discontinued the style In The video and replaced them with another. The new one is ok, however the old style is much better if you can get your hands on it.

    Hey Bill you are fair dinkum ! When you have dark eaves like I do thinkin sugar soap because bleach would not be good on dark colours eh ? watched your flush toliet repair and reckon I ll try it asap p off with playing plumber shite loads for nothin'

    • @billshowto
      @billshowto  3 года назад

      That’s correct, only use bleach on white surfaces. Generally, eaves are painted white 👍

    Just came upon this hack. Works well, but be warned! Wear safety goggles. I should have but didn't. Bleach in your eye is NOT nice. I spent 5 minutes washing my eye, and still sore.
