I did it for 2 weeks but it probably would have gone longer. One of my parents once said that people felt "uncomfortable around me" and that's why I didnt have many friends. I really dont care anymore as I will surely die alone.

I'm in the same situation, talk to your parents about it, they may help you and get you professional help, just stick in there bud, there's a bunch of us suffering the same thing and I guarantee you that someday we will find true happiness.

I don’t think about suicide but I’m desperate for a way out of this. I guess the reason why i’m sharing this, is because i don’t have anyone else to talk to.
Being alone =/= Being lonely, it's important not to conflate the two. Being alone is just being by yourself, which as stated can be helpful to some people, especially introverts who 'recharge', as it were, by being alone. Being lonely is having a longing for company. You can feel lonely even around people if they aren't satisfying your needs, or as stated in the video, hindering them.
I'm at the point where I'm so lonely, depressed and sad, that I can't even get the tears out of my eyes. Not even when I'm alone😭 My daily routine is the same everyday. Wake up - go to work - get home from work - be in my room playing games or watching movies, until I go to bed - repeat. For everyday that goes by, I'm loosing the will to be alive😭
I know this is late but I hope you are okay. I know there seems to be no hope, but there is a God in heaven that truly cares for you personally. The Bible says that he knows everything about you. He sent his son Jesus to die for us all so that we can be saved and have eternal life, an abundant life. He doesn't want you miserable. All you have to do is repent of all your sins, and believe Jesus died for all your sins and he will change your life. Ask him to save you. I promise you will never be alone again.
All of that i can relate, from top to bottom, now you maybe young not sure, but im now 30 and is a real crisis now, feel like i have no purpose or i wasnt born to have a girlfriend or a family.
I am an introvert. I love to be alone in my home. I hate being around strangers and people for too long. But I need that one person..who will be there with me. Who will care. I am too loyal. And that loyality left me broken. But for that one person who I will propably never meet I'll do everything. But that will never happen. I'll remain alone and lonely. It hurts, but I accepted it. I'll survive.

Zeltzamer, I would definitely agree that a depressed person would be more likely to joke about that, but I still know plenty of people who are perfectly healthy and still encourage that sort of comedy by liking, reposting and making sarcastic replies. I guess that's worse, to be honest.
x99 I had depression (currently taking anti depressants) and people rarely knew because I was the one always making jokes but the reason I always made jokes is because seeing people happy is the only thing that ever made me happy.
Being alone is to me very relaxing, something most introverts can relate to. Feeling lonely means to me atleast that you don't get affection from people you want it from, whether it's from family, friends or anyone else you are emotionally attached to. Basically not feeling appreciated, needed or wanted, compared to relaxing by yourself voluntary. I hope it makes more sense now.
I’ve been dealing with loneliness for almost 9 years now. The Pandemic made it EVEN WORSE. Depression, and anxiety has gotten a good hold of me. And I feel like it’s not getting any better. I’m currently in therapy, and taking medication to manage my depression symptoms. It’s really a battle to stay right. I know I got this though!
I have friends, family, and an incredible, lucky life, but I don’t even want to talk to anyone. I just feel like a numb blob, with no personality. I just feel panging anxiety and as if I’m going to mindlessly live life until one day I just die. It’s not bad some days if distracted. I just don’t remember what happiness feels like.
I met a guy once, he was a bit of a wanderer type, you know, just sort of roams around to places by himself, has no real home, no family, he was alone. He barely spoke, but he was an incredibly smart and oddly sort of funny person. My uncle told me he comes around every few months, and he said his wife and kid were killed in a car accident and he shut himself off from the world. He just drives around the desert, alone. Forever. I dunno, it’s a true story and has a bit to do with this video so i thought i’d share it with the interweb. Coolio.

Some heartbreaks are just too painful to deal with, just losing my wife sent me into loneliness and depression for years, I can't imagine losing children, too.
You are not alone, people pay big bucks for a cuddle session, it is a sign of the times...eventually things will get better, maybe not in our lifetimes, but eventually.
What if that person already has enough friends and isn't looking to make anymore. You can't force people to be your friend. Going and talking to them won't always work.

That’s the only wish I have for in this life too, a wife to settle down with one day, children of our own since I grew up without a father as he passed away before I even met him, and I feel like dying inside everyday until my wish comes true because I feel like I may not be able to live long enough to see it.
I am lonely and sorta depressed but i will NEVER consider of thinking suicide, alcohol or smoke. Those issue won't solve at all. The only way i can do is to try keep positive and do what you do during your free time. I draw during free time and sometimes go to the park and think about my future, myself and what to improve.
That was my mindset until it slowly just doesnt improve. Then your left with permsnent depression/suicidal thoughts unless you actively distract yourself with something
I enjoy being alone mostly because of being an introvert. I'm fine in social settings from time to time, but too much socializing really strains me and depletes me of my energy. I also find comfort in solitude as a coping mechanism for when I'm going through situations that are caused by having cerebral palsy, ADHD, and anxiety. I have more acquaintances than I have friends because I have a harder time creating strong friendships with others because of my disabilities that I've mentioned earlier. Even when I am with a group of friends, I still feel like I am just being an observer and not part of the group. I do consider myself to be a loner because of being introverted and not having any true close friends. I am just stating the reality that I have been dealing with ever since I was little.
In high school, I developed a love for solitude. I've made a life out of not having a life. Now I realize I've let my love for being alone make a prisoner out of me.
I have gone through several phases of loneliness, And guys, Loneliness is not a joke, it can easily kill you if you are strong enough. At peak phase of my loneliness, I had suicidal thoughts, Increased blood pressure, Bad mood, Aggressive behaviour, etc. Being lonely is not good at all. I feel like loneliness is killing me... everybody always leaves me in the end whether it’s family or friends. My father recently passed away, and everyone just changed... my mother is an entirely different person and my grandparents just.... are pretty much ignoring us now. My friends we go weeks without talking at times, I’m at the point That I break down crying when I’m alone. I just want to be happy for once in my miserable life.
What’s worse is surrounding yourself with other people isn’t enough to slay loneliness. You must make a meaningful, 2 sided connection with other people. If your attempts fail then the outcome to your mental well-being get worse.

Feeling lonely means to me atleast that you don't get affection from people you want it from, whether it's from family, friends or anyone else you are emotionally attached to. Basically not feeling appreciated, needed or wanted, compared to relaxing by yourself voluntary. I hope it makes more sense now.

I’ve been dealing with loneliness for almost 9 years now. The Pandemic made it EVEN WORSE. Depression, and anxiety has gotten a good hold of me. And I feel like it’s not getting any better. I’m currently in therapy, and taking medication to manage my depression symptoms. It’s really a battle to stay right. I know I got this though!
Hope you get better, i can assume under how much pain you might be dealing with.
I have friends, family, and an incredible, lucky life, but I don’t even want to talk to anyone. I just feel like a numb blob, with no personality. I just feel panging anxiety and as if I’m going to mindlessly live life until one day I just die. It’s not bad some days if distracted. I just don’t remember what happiness feels like.

I met a guy once, he was a bit of a wanderer type, you know, just sort of roams around to places by himself, has no real home, no family, he was alone. He barely spoke, but he was an incredibly smart and oddly sort of funny person. My uncle told me he comes around every few months, and he said his wife and kid were killed in a car accident and he shut himself off from the world.
He just drives around the desert, alone.

I’ve been alone almost all my life, i have few family members around me but thats it. I sometimes like my time alone but at times it breaks my heart because i just want a connection with someone. Im not so lucky with people they always seem to leave right after they enter my life. So basically yeah.. guess i don’t have much time. I’ll probably die in my 40s at this point.
Don't know about others. But you gotta appreciate solitude. Think about the privacy and freedom you'll have.
On the side note, there's the kind of solitude that you've gain and given. Whether you should thank them or yourself, it's your choice.

I'm dying it seems. Death awaits me. Bring it on. In another life I must have a partner, children a family and friends that love me.
That’s the only wish I have for in this life too, a wife to settle down with one day, children of our own since I grew up without a father as he passed away before I even met him, and I feel like dying inside everyday until my wish comes true because I feel like I may not be able to live long enough to see it.
I am lonely and sorta depressed but i will NEVER consider of thinking suicide, alcohol or smoke. Those issue won't solve at all. The only way i can do is to try keep positive and do what you do during your free time. I draw during free time and sometimes go to the park and think about my future, myself and what to improve.

I used to like being alone and was fine with it
I enjoy being alone mostly because of being an introvert. I'm fine in social settings from time to time, but too much socializing really strains me and depletes me of my energy. I also find comfort in solitude as a coping mechanism for when I'm going through situations that are caused by having cerebral palsy, ADHD, and anxiety. I have more acquaintances than I have friends because I have a harder time creating strong friendships with others because of my disabilities that I've mentioned earlier.
Even when I am with a group of friends, I still feel like I am just being an observer and not part of the group. I do consider myself to be a loner because of being introverted and not having any true close friends. I am just stating the reality that I have been dealing with ever since I was little.

Being lonely is not good at all. And if you, the one who is reading this is lonely / feels lonely, Don't worry, Just stay strong and 'try to find some company'. This bad phase will go soon.

I feel like loneliness is killing me... everybody always leaves me in the end whether it’s family or friends. My father recently passed away, and everyone just changed... my mother is an entirely different person and my grandparents just.... are pretty much ignoring us now. My friends we go weeks without talking at times, I’m at the point That I break down crying when I’m alone. I just want to be happy for once in my miserable life.

I often do feel isolated. I over feed myself just to kill my emotions temporarily.
What’s worse is surrounding yourself with other people isn’t enough to slay loneliness. You must make a meaningful, 2 sided connection with other people. If your attempts fail then the outcome to your mental well-being get worse.
