I'm just noticing since I have been watching the joy105 videos, the church has been so embarrassing , specifically the black church. The black church is fighting each other and we are supposed to love each other and be a united front like the day of Pentecost. Its so sad while the church is divided, Satan is running rapid in the world. Can we all just get along and be at peace with one another. Love is the greatest commandment, and God is love. And if you don't have love in you then God does not reside in you internally.
Pastors have to realize that its the church that gave them the platform to be successful. Yes, he may have 8 degrees and wrote 200+ books, but it was because of the church. Pastors have to be careful in boosting. I believe pastors should have things, but make sure the church, the membership, and the community are being serviced. If people in the church are struggling financially or in any other area and they were or are faithful tithers, help them. A strong membership with God at the helm, make a strong church.

It happens all the time, these pastors start to think they are superior to their congregation. You don't need a pastor to interpret the Bible for you, study it your own and draw your own conclusions. There are thousands of denominations all with their respective ideas of how you can be saved, don't think that your arrogant multiple luxury car driving preacher has "the magic sauce for your salvation." Ask Pastor Dana Carson how many of those over 200 books (he probably had most of them ghost written) made the New York Times bestseller list. Your pastor should be your last, not first resort to understanding the Bible. You are blessed with a brain and hopefully can read, get your knowledge yourself.

He does not care for the people who are in his ministry! All he does is take and take. Nobody buys his books and other items except those in his ministry, and he does not have a mega church! So, he is living off of tithes, offerings and pledges! The members in his church have Quartey pledges. They are constantly pressured to take out pledges. Members in his church get pay-day loans to pay off pledges to stay in Carson's grace. After every pledge drive, he gets a new car or some toy to make himself feel like he is better than others. Did people forget that preachers (Levites) are authorized payment according to Numbers 18:26-30? Do people forget that preachers can ALSO invest in the Stock Market like they do? There is nothing wrong with taking a salary from the tithes but pressuring your congregation to pledge every Quarter so that you can drive a newer car is a problem!
