This is back in the day black churches. Open rebuke was common and accepted. Many people did get mad and upset when it happened but quickly got over it. We have too many people in their feelings today. The need that in today churches because too may pastors and members have gone wild.
I got openly rebuked for asking a visiting paster to pray with me on something. Church was over then. He said really loud I'M NOT PRAYING FOR THAT!!! I got healed instantly. I will NEVER do that again. I was so embarrassed and a shame. I'm glad that he did that now. It helped me go to God for myself.
Someone in error cannot correct someone else in here unless they are a hypocrite. Scripture speaks against women speaking in church and here this woman is trying to rebuke another woman while violating scripture herself.. as the Bible says my people parish for lack of knowledge study to show that self approved and be not deceived. We have known that this woman is in error. If we do not know the scripture that says she is an error.
Bishop GE Patterson rebuke was epic whenever I need some old school inspiration I go to this video. We need to bring this type of energy in the church today.

Most of these church people who behave and act up like this are substance abusers or suffer from mental illness. But there are many who constantly use drugs, liquor, weed, and come to church. And many of these so-called preachers are out of line when they publicly speak on somebody's personal private matters. I attend a black church and I've seen the utterly chaos and hypocrisy that goes on. smh.
what do you do to refresh yourself? To go to the restroom or wipe sweat off from the time of playing the instrument. It seems robotic to sit in the same position for the duration of 2 to 3 hours. Make it make sense. could you have not had a private meeting with the musicians just cause you could say it doesn’t mean you should.

Open rebuke is necessary because crazy stuff is happening in churches all across the land. Some of the crazy is because people are not properly taught and some of it is because the pastors are not properly or fully taught. It is similar to supervisors improperly or properly disciplining employees in the workplace. Someone needs to show RUclips videos of supervisors improperly and properly disciplining employees.

Her dress was short and the Mother gave her sound advice, as she should. A Pastor once said to the women in the church,[mostly unsaved]. If you are Not selling, Don’t advertise. He was Always commenting on the way Some of those women was dressing. They dressed like they were going to a night club. Let Everything be done decently and in order. Women dress modestly, you can dress like a tramp in the bedroom for your husbands, if you desire. There is a time and a place for Everything under heaven/sun. I'm over a music ministry. My musicians and myself usually all head to the same place when praise and worship is done... ...the bathroom! Then we come back in, and sit at the back of the platform, so we can be near our instruments, and we listen to the sermon. This is the case in many churches. I don't know very many pastors who would even allow their musicians to leave the sanctuary and stay gone during the sermon.
Your initial rebuke should be behind closed doors. Particularly if you are a member. If there's someone in the pulpit that is out of order see them after service them confront them. When you say this has been going on too long , now I'm looking at leadership. It should be addressed expeditiously. They need to follow proper protocols.

That’s why the church is emptying at an astounding rate. Unwarranted public shaming is never ok! Appropriate measures should be taken if someone is intentionally interrupting SERVICE, or threatening. Much of what we witnessed was a power trip. I’m not sure what to think of the pastor that told the person can you leave and put on men’s clothes, he kicked them out and said he has a standard at his church. How can the transsexual hear the word of God, repent, and be delivered, if they can’t sit in the church service? How can he turn from his wicked ways if he is not welcomed in the building? According to ROMANS 2:11 God show no favoritism, he loves is all equally and doesn’t want anyone to perish and be lost. What today's churches need more than so-called prophets is the gift of discernment. There is a time and a place for all things. In many cases an open rebuke is necessary and appropriate. The clip with Bishop Patterson is a good example of this. However if that is the only way that you are bringing correction, then I would question the spirit behind it. Some of these things might be abuse. Taking advantage of the public setting to correct. Mind you I'm not saying there is not time for public rebuke but it should only be only after that person had been shown the truth and the error of their ways privately. I’m not sure what to think of the pastor that told the person can you leave and put on men’s clothes, he kicked them out and said he has a standard at his church. How can the transsexual hear the word of God, repent, and be delivered, if they can’t sit in the church service? How can he turn from his wicked ways if he is not welcomed in the building? He didn’t get to hear the preached word, that’s what convicts the hearts of men. Too many pastors continue to elevate members in their church to the office of prophet while ignoring and verifying whether God has called them. Every prophet should show proof of their prophecies because God doesn't make mistakes when he uses true prophets. And by the way, true God called prophets don't seek fame and fortune.

There is a time and a place for all things. In many cases an open rebuke is necessary and appropriate. The clip with Bishop Patterson is a good example of this. However if that is the only way that you are bringing correction, then I would question the spirit behind it. Mother Kelly is the other example of this, I do not think all of her open rebukes are necessary. She could have turned the mic off to talk to the young lady about her attire. JMO

This man was yelling these lies in the midst of the service so Bishop Patterson was right to expose the lie in the same service to let everyone know this was not God.
