What scriptures point out being prosperous is a heresy. Ive never read that I have read about the blessings of Abraham upon us and many other scriptures in the bible that shows support of prosperity, etc
Salvation is free. You wanna please God? Give to the sick and poor. Don’t give to prosperity preachers because the only ones prospering are them. Not one penny will ever come back.
I like the idea of Gods' people prospering. What scriptures are you referring to? Jesus told the rich young ruler to give all to the poor and follow him. Where does God or Jesus say God people prospering are a good thing? Please let me know - thanks
God is not against us having material wealth, but he is against material wealth having us. Why did God allow the Israelites to gain all of the material wealth when possessing canaan if he was against it. I encourage y'all to read 2 Corinthians 9 and its not talking about spiritual riches. How can we enhance God's kingdom, spread the gospel if the church is broke?
When some people hear they misunderstand ...thought this was a perfect and funny illustration. God wants His people prosperous but we will only get what we know about & understand. I own many of His books especially on Healing and the Being led by the Spirit. If u wanna hear some teaching that is Straight from the word of God line by line precept upon precept that's who u listen to. There is nothing wrong with Gods people prospering. Preach the Word not opinion. What scripture is he using as reference none at all.
Was Paul rich? Really? Why was he making tents to pay the rent? Was it a hobby? Paul and all the disciples went out and established churches without becoming rich. Paul would not accept riches but instead made his living by making tents. God gave Israel riches and they soon departed from Him. After entering the promised land Israel would sin, God would punish, Israel would repent, God would bless, Israel would sin, God would punish, on and on.
