For the sake of the argument, Jews (Hebrews) weren't black or white, they were tan, the middle east is full of people who are tan of skin. If he was white or not depends on what we consider white, he looked quite average for his time and place, a semitic appearence, the Gospels say on different occasions that he can blend with the crowd; he definetely wasn't anglo-looking, which is the mainstream way to portray him in anglo/nordic countries. Every culture tries to represent him closer to their own appearance, it's as ethnocentric to say that he was definetely white as to ignore, as Malcolm does, that every culture has adapted his form to their own.

Just your normal description of a corporeal and earthly being. He is describing a celestial Christ, is not to be taken as the aspect that Jesus had in life at all. If he was white or not depends on what we consider white, he looked quite average for his time and place, a semitic appearence, the Gospels say on different occasions that he can blend with the crowd; he definetely wasn't anglo-looking, which is the mainstream way to portray him in anglo/nordic countries. Every culture tries to represent him closer to their own appearance, it's as ethnocentric to say that he was definetely white as to ignore, as Malcolm does, that every culture has adapted his form to their own.
