- It's Day 3 of our Tampa/Tennesee Trip, and in this adventure, Mike and I are spending the day at Adventure Island! This waterpark is located just across the street from Busch Gardens Tampa, and is home to some thrilling waterslides like Colossal Curl, Wahoo Remix, and Solar Vortex; a relaxing half-mile lazy river called Rambling Bayou, a wave pool, water play structures, and more. In addition to exploring everything Adventure Island has to offer, Mike and I will also share our overall thoughts and review on what we experienced.

That’s a very beautiful water park. I haven’t been to a water park in a while and I usually always just do the rides and roller coasters, so one day I should finally go to a water park again!
Waterparks are so fun! Definitely a different kind of experience than you’d get at a normal theme park, but I find you can relax a bit more and just enjoy the vibes.

Were the queues very long in late august? wondering wether its worth getting the 'queue jump' pass or not! Are the cabanas worth it too?
The queues weren’t too bad! I think my longest wait was 15-20 minutes. We got through everything we wanted to do in a few hours. We were also there on a Saturday, so I’m sure any other day of the week would be even better!
Bad public relations department. Close park easily even with no lightening. No refunds !!! Don’t go
Oh, that really sucks if that’s true! I know from my experience that these places don’t fool around with weather. If the radar shows any amount of lightning within a 15-20 mile radius (even if you can’t see it with your own eyes), the attractions will close. Now, they usually reopen once things have cleared, so for them to not do that is unusual and would completely ruin your visit.
