Thinking of buying this one..just was wondering what batteries are compatible..and I've had some bad crashes with the 230 and I never been able to break the servo, lol but not saying it won't happen ..love them man

Currently I am using the Turnigy 0.45 which is a 450mAh, 3-cell with 60 - 120c discharge rate. Works well for me.

@@InfiniteEscapeRC I just got it a few weeks ago and I'm very impressed with it..it's got kinda a flight character of its own , ..if I had to compare it to anything I have ,would be my trex 150 ., only the blade has a stronger tail than the trex. .it even keeps up with my M2 some what but I really enjoy it. Did you notice any difference switching to xt30 connector?

@@jakelang4387 No, not that I can see. The XT30 is easier to use and is now a common connector for most of the batteries I buy.

@@InfiniteEscapeRC I ended up putting a jst red connector spliced in to my 230 so I can use about 10 different types of batteries, I like the G2 but they pricey

Good job reviewing this heli! I pulled off the grey cylinder and haven't had any problems. Also, a large zip-tie cut to length can serve as a temporary tail fin.

Good idea! I didn't really like the added weight of the nail I was using. Thanks.

I use this heli's main hub to build my 210 sized 250 gram 30+ minute endurance FPV heli.
