Sawyer is a fantastic labby. What a little hero.
All you have to do is to meet a headstrong and super-stubborn Dobermann with a very single-minded determination. We tried to deter our Luna from eating our cats' food by putting slices of lemon on top of the granules. She chewed the slices of lemon while looking at us - then she moved on to granules. Dobermanns aren't dogs, they're jerks.

What a beautiful lab. He learned very quickly. Also, as much as I like lemons, I don't necessarily like tasting lemons as it is, in its 100% acidic opponent. Heck, just THINKING of licking a lemon is making my mouth water like crazy (lol).
I've eaten an entire slice of lemon, with the peel, and that was a brutal experience. Yep, I can relate to the pup, as well.

Wow! This is bad. I suggest going over to Susan Garrett's channel @DogsThat instead. Supposedly Brandon is a "dog expert," yet he pulled that idiotic lemon trick? He sets a dog, who appears to still be a puppy, up to fail by leaving him to have unattended free reign of the house, and the dog gets into an unlidded trash can, but it's the dog that's in the wrong???? Then the dog gets punished for the human's clueless mistake. So, what happens when someone throws in chicken bones or fish bones which overpower the scent of lemon? Sounds like a vet visit waiting to happen.
