    That's the missing peice. I was only using either or grips and not a transitional grip. Thank you maam.

    Thanks thats actually helped me a lot. The problem I've found is that if I use a competition KB its fine but if I use an 18kg cast iron that's half the size it seem to put more pressure on one spot.

      There might be differences based on the size of the bell you are using. You could change your grip and control where the cast iron bell rests more to help.

    No question competition bell seem easier to use, particularly to use it alot.

    still hurts. Even just holding it diagonally across the palm in racked position hurts still lol
