You are awesome, with such great explanations, maybe you should bring out a DVD, or even better, a beginners tips and tricks online or downloadable course. A one time cost for online, and you reap the benefits of cashing in and helping a worldwide demographic.
It would be good if you could improve the quality of the sound. You seem to have a lot of exterior noise going on when you are making the videos and I understand that probably you can't help that, but it seems that something should be done to make the sound seem like it's not far away and like it's echoing, or maybe not "connected" with you or "coming" from you. Watch and listen to some of your videos and I think that you'll see what I'm talking about.
John Fears oh yes I know that’s the case, the gym I filmed most of my videos at was not the best for sound. I opted for imperfection over not filming at all. :)
Exactly what I was looking for! I can't get the kettlebells you usually use and was wondering if the grip was the problem. Is that the last thing you showed? My kb has a very big handle. I can't insert a photo here... Does the handle make a big difference for this?
Glad to hear it! The handle definitely affects where the kettlebell will sit in the rack position, but all the same principles apply that I just talked about.
You can grab the middle, or grab closer to the end. Grabbing in the middle typically feels more balanced, and grabbing closer to the end can help all fingers work more to prevent grip fatigue, and can also make insertion easier for some. It depends on personal preference and what your goal is.
Hi, hope I’m not too late. I’ve been wanting to learn how to do proper KB workouts, but I’ve been banging my forearm. I m currently using a 15lb 6.8KG KB. It’s a good weight for me. However do i need to lessen the weight until i get the proper movements/technique? If so how do I ensure I still have a good workout?🤔
Hi Monique, yes it’s important to use a light weight until you get the technique down, in order to avoid injury and set good habits for the future. You can still get a great workout with a light weight! Go slow, be intentional, and really engage your muscles. If you need more guidance on it, I teach online classes every week that are perfect for beginners! For details email me at info@kbfitbritt.com
Clearest explanation I`ve heard, and I`ve been looking for about 2 years. Grip, size of your arc, and timing. Gold! Thanks!!!
Happy to help, Hayes! Glad you found what you were looking for. :)

Outstanding! Thanks. These tips really help us distance runners who are using kettlebell for strength. My arms could be described as pair of twigs 🤣
Happy to help! Building strength makes you more bulletproof. I recommend pushups too :)

There are twice as many kettlebell clips on clean, but nothing comes close to your way of articulating the mechanism of kb clean.
Thank you so much! I’m glad it’s helpful :)
Do you want to grab the middle of the kettlebell? I read somewhere that grabbing closer to the end makes it easier to clean or do snatches?
You can grab the middle, or grab closer to the end. Grabbing in the middle typically feels more balanced, and grabbing closer to the end can help all fingers work more to prevent grip fatigue, and can also make insertion easier for some. It depends on personal preference and what your goal is.

Hmm is this something I can apply to the snatch? I hit my forearm with that move.
Yes, definitely! Same idea for the Snatch, you are just bringing the bell up higher so the timing becomes even more important :)
Brittany van Schravendijk Thanks! I’ll practice this week. :)
of course
Did...did anyone else hear the plane flyover and get confused?
