Much respect for Neil knowing his inventory so well . That's the kind of guy you like to do business with.
He knows his products for sure!
i was also impressed that Neil doesn't work on cars all day, but still seems to know what lots of tools do and which cars they are for, as well as being nice
prime rules of retail is to know the merchandise and to know the customer
@@robanderson84 He was a mechanic before he started with Snap On.
@@jleote I wish all the parts people at my work were doing my job before they were allowed to order, stock, and hand out parts. A good parts person is worth their weight in gold, and experience matters there.
Hope Neil is still going strong and you guys are still connected. Great dealer
Time for a round 3 tour of the Snap On truck
Out of all the snap on reps iv seen. Neal seems like the most easy going one. He's a great snap on rep I wish all of them were like that
Yes he is reliable and knows his product for sure
Yep, it suck when they are mean when they bend you over.
Shit you got that right. My snap-on rep doesn’t warranty jack shit!
I recently changed snap on dealers after swapping to a different shop and definitely like my new one way better than the old one
30:00 "I'd have to remove $10k worth of products"
That's just a 20 piece set of wrenches
Snap on trucks are highly addictive. Makes crack look like a healthy habit.
Not healthy... just cheaper.
Yeah but but at least at the end of the day you got something to show for it except the no teeth look. 😆
Neil sure seems to be knowledgeable about the merchandise he sells.
If all salespeople were like him the economy would boom.
Bun and condiments sold separately!

Finally paid off my Snap On pliers set today. Only took 2 months..LOL.
A lot cheaper just saving your money and buying it instead of collecting interest through credit. Sweet talk him down. Shit is way over priced
James Last
+james dean here in canada it's 0 percent interest.
You must be terrible with money lol
Knipex is better
They should play ice-cream van music...
They shouldn't some kids were told that the van plays when they are out of ice cream.
WIIIIIFFEEE WIIIIIIIIFFFFFFFFEEEEEEEEEEE.....THE SNAP ON VANS HERE!!!!
I torque, you torque, we all torque the car bolts
I remember when SnapOn had Awesome Calendars....but my wife hated them .lol
..hahaha...hell yeah..my wifee same crap..made me take them down..
I work at the plant that manufactures these trucks. It's pretty crazy how much they pack into those because as they're rolling off the line they seem massive interior-wise. They're also a total nightmare to assemble haha.
the only snap on tool I own is a screw driver my dad bought at a garage sale. only way I can own a snap on tool.
Neil seems like a great guy to do business with, and he's knowledgeable on everything he's got in his truck. It would be interesting if he could talk about how he got started, what it takes to get started, and if he's able to stock his truck as he wants or if Snap-On dictates 100% what he has to stock.
normal people dream about knocking over an armored car...i have a 'friend' who fantasizes about 'jacking' a snap on truck.
SGDeGalvez I am gonna do it one day lol
Steve probably shouldn't post that on the internet is you're actually going to do it.
First Name Last Name eh they dont have proof but im sure these trucks have a gps
SGDeGalvez i wanna do the same but im sure these trucks have a gps your best bet would be to break into it and steal everything you want not the whole truck
Steve true. I didn't think of that. I wouldn't be a good thief.i guess that's a good thing though
An (85ish) elderly, retired neighbor was moving at least 30 years ago, using a company to run a yard/moving sale. A woman came over to me to ask for help moving heavy stuff up from their basement during set-up. I helped and she then asked if I saw anything I wanted. I pointed to an old Craftsman tool chest without even looking in it. She said, "How's $35 sound?" I paid, no problem, and then broke my butt carrying it. It was stuffed with all Snap On -- everything! A ton. My Dad passed a few years later and all of his SK & Herbrand tools were inherited by me. Three top brands in my book for working on all 7 of my cars.
This guy really knows his stuff And he's nice if every salesperson was like this the economy would boom!
Respect to Eric for making sure he put everything back. If you dont respect people's stuff then dont expect them to respect yours.
Snap on guys are great salesman. I like they always have these demos. I was half convinced I needed mantis tweezers in case I ever dropped a piece of plastic down a tube.
The same kind of demo sold me on my screwdrivers. I thought the guy was nuts when he told me the price for the set. He said go get any screwdriver you want from the shop and come back, I got a big craftsman screwdriver and some others and came back, he had a thing to connect two flat blade screwdriver and whoever was holding the snap on one could turn the other brand right out of the guys hand. Take my money!
Ahhhh...@18:00 I was like yelling at the screen "press the maximize/resize button!!!" And then you did...lol👍👍✌
To keep it fair, you should do the MAC truck.
That would be cool to see :)
Wish my sales reps were like this guy Neil: knows his products very well and isn't pushy. Too often I land up with pushy reps and I know their product lines better than they do.
tool truck - toy land for the big kids ! ^-^
I think you want that diagnostic center Eric. Good Snap On commercial here. I'd like one of every tool on that truck.
I know this video is over 4 years old, but this video auto played, and I want to see Neil again!!!
Loved the tour last time and loved it just as much this time... Neil is a class dude...Much respect
That man deserves a promotion/raise
Dude was squirming when you call him out on then soda. lol
SnapOn should do free updates for $500 purchase for the year of their products. Seems economical to me. Makes no sense to pay for an update but hey their company.
Every time I see tools from Snap On omg thanks for the video .
First time of being able to see inside a snap on truck. I was drooling. I would go for broke inside that truck. LOL.
Brings back good memories of my previous life as a Tech going on the Snap-On truck.
Always fun to snoop around the Snap-on truck.
It is a blessing to have a badass tool dealer. I've only ever had one issue with one and he was quickly ran out of town(other people did not like him as well) Neil seems like a cool guy, you are blessed Eric!
Thanks Neil for having us on the truck
Love watching truck tours. See how the different dealers set things up.
That guy did not come with my snap on truck in the old days Nice to see the geek in high school found a job he likes. Bravo sir. So nice to have a guy that loves to give customers good quality.
That was very enjoyable. I love the comment (below) about Mrs. O cringing when you go in the truck. That diagnostic work station had your name all over it!
A lot of tools had my name on them trust me haha
my boss bought that same diagnostic center box for the shop a few months back! its sweeeeet
Hope to see more truck videos nice to see different reactions to different things stay strong stay safe eric o
Super knowledgeable guy.
Great video. On Windows machines, if you highlight one window hold down the Windows button and push the right arrow it will go the right half, highlight the other window and do the same with the left arrow and it will go the left side.
I still remember our Snap On rep from 1988. Art Turlekie. Nice guy, still have my original 1/4" socket set and Makita drills I bought from him. :)
I've been waiting for part 2. Yeah 😀
A walk down memory lane. Great video. I always refused to be sucked into the vortex of a tool truck. The last Snap-On product I bought was a ratcheting screw driver, and it was 75 dollars. They have a lot of nice stuff.
I'd wish I could go back in time to the mid 1960's and show this to my old auto mech instructor. So much to know and keep learning, it's a full time job just keeping up with the way things are changing. This is a good low pressure sales person, he explains the selling points and lets the merchandise sell itself.
That is one sexy looking diagnostic cart ! Of course, the screen keyboard and mouse would be so smudged up, you would have to clean it multiple times a day.
thanks Eric for great report and information
i have that same black and extreme box. i absolutely love it
It's a big deal being Eric O's Snap On guy! Nice man!
awesome like a kid in a toy store haha,,love it..
I really enjoyed that I was awesome Snap-on tool. The pretty good tools.
I bet Mrs. O cringes every time you disappear into a snap-on van......
lolol
I can imagine snap on truck driving by, Mrs. O saying oh hes not here. Oh but his truck is there, No no no, he took my car" *poker face* hah
Bardia Ghajari exactly. Lol
Last time he had Hannah cut the check instead of Mrs O......Hes no dummy lol
Shouldn't really be an issue. He's an LLC so tools owned by the company and yearly depreciation etc. plus costs against profits etc.
thank you so much that was grate not seen inside before
I just love Neil.. god old service minded guy, a rare kind of breed now a days...
The snap on truck is like going to toys r us as a child😂 I’ve seen grown men go in there and giggle like little school girls at all the new shit they have and bring😂
Man You have a awesome dealer mine sucks and that diagnostic cart is sweet
That's funny I have two of that exact same knife you picked up, Kershaw, Tanto style blade. I thought I lost it, so bought another one and found the one I lost. Good knives. Same exact inlay pattern everything... I like your tool truck guy with his cool knives and funny video game references... lol
Older Modis' were 4 channel jeez. I've had a jumbo pair of tweezers like that in my tool box for ever. Handy indeed. Thanks Eric!
Yeah I know now it is only 2 :(
Speakin of pliers... Just bought a 10 inch pair of Knipex cobras Eric.. And I'm probably way more excited than i outta be. damn i love tools
I imagine buying tools at these prices is similar to standing in a cold shower and ripping up $100 bills. Am I close?
You look like me when I go to the RC Hobby shop. I know you use your toys to help you with your job and to get the job done better, faster. I had my own small engine repair shop and when I was first getting started I would hit up sears to get everything I needed for tools. For specialized stuff,I hit the Briggs and Tecumseh dealer for tools or whatever I needed. Back when I worked in a shop,we used micro fich to acess parts look up on whatever we needed. Lol,that seems like a hundred years ago now. Now everything is computer look up and I order directly from the warehouse. I do remember my dad had a relationship with the Snapon guy,he worked on Industrial Hydraulic equipment through Clark. He had his own truck and tool box on board. That was years ago,I see they still have service trucks. Things were really changing when he finally retired as far as technology.
You'd probably have to mortgage the house to get that diag. center. My mouth waters every time I see the inside of that truck. Thanks for the tour.
Neil is Mr. Snap On" for sure!!
No doubt. He seems to know every model name and number.
Yes sir he really knows his product!
if i could spend 30+ minutes on the snap-on truck at work i would be so happy lol
snap-on dealers will gladly meat you after work
Meat you after work, you say? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
If I spent 30+ minutes on a snap-on truck, I'd end up bankrupt...
lol
more temptation than anything you know with a line of credit, which they will gladly sign you up for.
I LIKE THIS TOOL GUY. HARD TO FIND GOOD ONES. PLUS HE KNOWS HIS STUFF. OTHERS JUST PLAIN DON'T CARE.
Very interesting tour. I'm 70 years old and retired, I have bought Snap on and still have them. You get what you pay for. You want cheap junk shop Harbor Freight. You want quality, here it is.
Just went aboard my dealer's truck today. It looks very similar. We just got him after the last guy retired. Very well appointed. Cool lighting, great demo platforms. I bought a socket that I lost in a vehicle. $60.00 dollars please. Hey, I'm used to it.
So many tools, my heart palpitating!
I have a third Snap on, third Mac and a third everything else. Bought my Mac box in 1990 and in 2010 it fell over when I forgot to lock the drawers and they all opened causing a weight shift. bending many of the rails. I got a hold of the Mac district manager and they sent me all new slide rails to repair my box free of charge!
Hello Eric, Always fun to see what new tools are out there. "Twisted square drive" who knew. Of course the real question is why? Take care. Doug
Triple Square... Euro stuff
I'm a mobile mechanic and I drive 30 miles to visit my Snap On dealer and they guy treats me like a real person. As i pay cash and he gives me the best deals when I trade up. You just have to find that guy and treat him respect. AS we all have ot make a living!
Great Dealer you got.
Neil is a great dealer
Awesome guy!
Loved it
Nice inside look!
loved the snap on truck. up here in the niagara falls area we only had four different men in 20 years and one moved up to the tec truck even now i been out of the feild for five years due to hip and knee replaccements and when i have broken tools the new guy is more than glad to help out neal seems like a cool guy that new computer with acer i bet was about 15,000 thats fifteen hundred swcans at 100.00 per scan if nothing breaks lol keep up the great vids eric o as well as the snap on truck visets too with cool dude neal loved the jerkey but rather spend the ten on tools
thanks for this ...
That song snippet was just awesome. No late guess, nothing. Thank you all.
Another great video
Love my Snap on SS box, made 1 year.
It's like Christmas every time you go onto a SnapOn truck... except you don't get to take everything home.
BTW, the EDGE takes about 5 mins to update on the truck.Great job on all the vids thank you for sharing
Fantastic
I watched the first video, and enjoyed it as much as this. Neil is the real deal. I’m not a mechanic or try to be but enjoy the content. New sub 🇨🇦
that truck is insane
Now I know what Jimi Hendricks meant when he sang "GD" the pusher man. There is always a tool to buy.
If Snap-On can fit a sound system into a "toolbox", I'm sure they can fit a small fridge into one too.
Those 1/4 turn socket trays are AMAZING! I have two of them, BUT I did a small modification that nearly doubled their capacity. I added standard socket rails in between the twist rails by drilling holes through the steel plate and bolted them to them. Once people in the shop saw that, everyone had one and did the same. Makes moving and securing sockets easy.
To me, snap on tools have recently became a special tool company. My brother recently passed away and he strictly used snap on tools when he worked at a Mercedes Benz dealership. He would always rant and rave to me that they’re a god send. He passed his tools on to me and now I’m using those tools to work on his cars of which were everything to him. They are pretty darn good tools
I like these Neil SNAP on truck videos. I have a 1/4 inch watched my GREAT grandfather had that broke a few years back and until this last video i didn't realise i could get it replaced. It's from the 1950's i think.
Yes sir Neil takes care of everything
Hello, Eric
I replaced the Blower Motor RESISTOR on my 2008 Focus sedan
...because changing from Fan Dial Speed #2 to #3 there is no increase in speed.
Changing up to speed#3 maintains the same speed as setting #2 (so basically it as if i had never even moved it off of fan speed #2)
However fan speed #1-#2 their is a speed increase and going to fan speed #4 is fastest.
So when i changed the resistor i didn't find any difference going from #2 to #3.
I was wondering what is the solution or fix to this? Blower motor perhaps?
snap on truck in south bay is bot very nice to us
Snap on makes top botch stuff - I have a list... 👍👌
Every time I just looked at a Snap-On truck crosswise it was 50.00...... :)
i had the same problem at the local Harley Davidson dealership, except their stuff costs a hundred bucks a pop. One time I bought a temp gauge that bolted to my brake lever cover. It was the size of a half dollar, the price tag $100.00. It should cost $35.00 or less. You are paying for the name brand.
Good video.SMA
Cool visit. Eric next time ask Neil how he powers up his truck when parked. Cheers 👍👍
Will do!
Lottery jackpot win needed for visits to that van.
I put in a ticket with Snap-on Diagnostics to add the Oil Life Reset every upgrade b/c it annoyed me lower price scanners had it and Snap-on didn't. I had the same 16-2 upgrade & get the 16-4 for free in GA also for my Verus Edge...nice deal. I upgaded to 16-4 a few weeks ago with an enormous amount of updates & it's sweet. I do that every year so I pay for only one upgrade but get both. My Snap-on rep has the inventory on his truck and then he has a 35' trailer full of deals he has another person follow him around on Mondays. That is a dangerous truck for me to get into b/c I never come out empty. My rep Scott makes me killer deals that he knows I can't refuse...he know my weakness but he takes care of me. Every Christmas I get @$200 Snap-on winter jacket gift and loads of free t-shirts, socks, etc thru the year plus I get free tickets for 2 to the NHRA drag race & VIP tickets to the Snap-on Funny Car tent of Cruz Pedregon...sweet! Nice video and the good thing about this is I got to go inside a Snap-on truck and come w/o a bill :-)
>Giant lock on the door.....above a perfectly breakable window. SNAP-ON!
Snap-on and Proto were the only companies who had an industrial/technical program and made the sometimes really tiny drivers like a T-4 we needed to work on certain systems that didn't break or deform the first time you used them. Now they are a common tool, but 35 years ago they were extremely hard to get. I learned a good rep makes your life so much easier and I hope Neil can take care of you for years to come.
I still have most of my Snap-on and Proto tools, too. However I'm still trying to figure out why they include that gigantic slotted driver in every set they sell, though I did take mine, wrap it in electrical tape and use it as a high tech prybar.
christmas is coming Mrs O....😆🎅
