    I never thought of painting a tree that way, just lightly stipple a heavy pigment, then stipple some water. This might help me solve my overworking of trees. I generally paint from light to dark, and this approach is like acrylic painting, but if it works. I'm gonna try it and see if it helps

      It does! Full disclosure, I was very detailed where I stippled my pigment, but the end result still looks loose! Thanks!
