Kings Island has one of the most unique lineups out there
the beast as an honorable mention is crazy
I’m a Diamondback man myself. There’s nothing I like more on a coaster than massive airtime hills, and in my opinion, DB has some of the best out there

Not including any Soak City slides, my favorite ride there is Orion, followed by Diamondback, Mystic Timbers, Beast, Banshee, Bat, Firehawk (R.I.P.), Flight of Fear, Backlot Stunt Coaster, Adventure Express, Racer, Race For Your Life Charlie Brown, Boo Blasters on Boo Hill, Dodgems, Vortex (R.I.P.), and Invertigo.
I love banshee so much I still love the ride and the ride was my first time going upside down
Ha, ha! I love that The Beast didn't even make your list. The only thing that I really appreciated about The Beast is that its length gave me enough time to take a nap with my eyes open. Talk about a coaster that doesn't do much of anything at all. I rode it once during the day, and that was enough for me. I found it so bland that I didn't even jump at the opportunity to get a night ride on it. I loved Orion. I think it's a great coaster, and I enjoyed everything about it. It's also my number one coaster in the park. I found it to be close to as thrilling and good as Fury 325 -- the first drop was certainly just as good. I do like Fury a bit more, but still, Orion is by no means a weak or underwhelming coaster at all. Diamondback is a really good hyper -- my second favorite after Goliath at SFOG. But it wasn't my second favorite coaster in the park -- that actually goes to Banshee. I love Banshee -- became my new favorite invert over Afterburn, which yes, I do think is even better than Montu. I kind of feel like Banshee is the offspring of Alpengeist and Afterburn, with a few great elements that neither Alpengeist or Afterburn have. The slow in-line twist on Banshee is phenomenal, and one of the highlights of the ride. Mystic Timbers is really good, but I didn't find it to be as extraordinary as many enthusiasts find it to be. It was actually my 4th favorite coaster in the park. I'm not sure at this point if I like it or Thunderhead better, since I find them to be very comparable. Of the Cedar Fair parks that I've been to so far, Kings Island is my favorite (for aesthetics, customer service and staff friendliness). Cedar Point might have a better coaster line up, but Kings Island blows it away so many other areas. For me, Kings Island is neck to neck with Carowinds in its coaster line up -- and that's a really good thing since I really like Carowinds coaster line up... until you reach its weaker (Goldrusher, Ricochet and Woodstock Express) and even horrible (Hurler, Carolina Concussion and Vortex) coasters.

nice list. the last time I went to kings island I rode Vortex 3 times since it was closing that year. used to be my old #1 despite most people hating it 😅
Orion for sure! I went there yesterday and we rode it 3 times once it the middle, front and back and trust me once you ride it in the front and back youll never wanna go back to the middle
Mystic Timbers
Is my favorite at kings island
Mystic Timbers is the top ride for me at this park. Mystic has grown on me over the years. Orion and Diamondback follow Mystic. It is a pretty big drop off after those 3. Banshee has quite a bit of jackhammering. It has a great layout but the jackhammering prevents it from being an upper tier invert. Beast has the setting, and speed, but doesn't do much. Hey at least it is smooth. I actually prefer Mystic night rides over the Beast. I think Bat is underrated a bit. Firehawk was pretty good when it was at the park. It does seem that they have made an effort to make Racer smoother over the past few years but I prefer the Racer at KD over this one. Kings Island has some of the best operations but their coaster line-up could improve in my book. I would love to see something like Ride to Happiness in the old Vortex plot. It would give them a true #1 coaster with Mystic being a great #1A. Orion, Diamondback, and if they can fix Banshee's jackhammering they would be the quality supporting coasters.
I know it's older and doesn't have alot of elements to it but it doesn't make the beast any less fun than other rides. The fact that it is a long ride thru the woods makes it enjoyable and hard to explain why it's so different at night but a night ride is sheer exhilaration. It's clearly behind the top 4 in the park and I can understand being behind a couple others but being behind invertigo, drop tower, and adventure express just feels blasphemous

I live in Hamilton county, so I visit a lot. But you did not put the beast.. THE BEAST! But Orion is fun. My number 3 ride is the banshee. 2 is diamondback, and 1 is Mystic Timbers. Also you said in the video that the backlot stunt coaster is a good ride for thrills seekers in training. I am one of those trainies
Damn, was really hoping The Beast would be number 1 lol I was with you until then 😭 It’s wild how different we all rank coasters. Orion isn’t in my top 30 but The Beast is my number 8 lol also, I’m gonna need that intro song on Apple music ASAP
If you get lucky on Flight of Fear and don't get the mid-course breaks it can be pretty nuts.

You know I was with ya until we reached honorable mentions after number two...I began to realize you needed to leave Orion or The Beast off of your list, and leaving either one of them off a top ten means I certainly cannot agree....

Why would anyone get mad if someone’s top rides are different? We all like different ride sensations.

I enjoyed this list from front to back and I respect this list 100%. The Beast May be an engineering Gem, and so is the Lake Ponchartrain Causeway in Louisiana which is like 24 miles. Engineering Gem, but dull.

I feel that Orion is going to be one of them coasters that will get more love as each year passes. One day, I feel it will get a Golden Ticket Award.
I am very curious to see what the New Look "Adventure Express" has in store for 2023. If I was in charge of this project, I would just honor "The Shed" by having drumbeats going up the Hill to the Station with the Stone Warriors singing "Maneater" but that's just me.

The racer is one of the most ROUGHEST rides I’ve been on. It hurts more than the beast.
They have done a lot of work on it recently! It's much smoother than it was a few years ago.

I rode the entire lineup for the first time on a trip a few weeks ago. Orion is my number one with Banshee in number two. Diamondback could have been higher but the rattle is too much. I think the sleeper hit is The Bat

This was my first asument park i went to and it made me love roller coasters.
Pretty well ranked I’d say. Adventure Express is receiving theming enhancements this year with the opening of Adventure Port. I completely get what you mean about The Beast. Don’t get me wrong- it’s my home park and I love it.. but it’s best saved for when you’re craving nighttime laterals.
You can keep Invertigo. Those restraints and being over 30… oof. Enjoy it while you’re young, kids!
