    FlashForge printers are core-xy and have been around probably longer than most other sub $1k printers

    Is it possible that the fuse is over sized?

      Man I think a 22lr would have popped before this did! I feel like we need to do research on why it didnt pop! It is not a large filament in there!

      @@3DMusketeers well since it seems to just get hot and melted maybe the amp draw was not high enough... Then at that point is that 30amp fuse lol..? If it is a Florida printer, which i would guess it is, then corrosion could be a deal if its a "garage" printer. A can of DIOXIT would clean any stuff off the connectors.

      it melted the metal too, and blued the connector. That is a non trivial amount of heat.
