Sir this was superb! Cheers! I would highly recommend a cover of this by a British female soul singer, Beverley Knight. It's a tribute cover to George Michael (way before he passed away). It was done 9 years ago at a small venue called Porchester Hall in west London. ruclips.net/video/xQYdacZOQsE/видео.html
We won't ever see an artist like George again. He was handsome...a good singer...wrote all his own songs...and could play instruments too! Nowadays, modern pop singers can't play instruments and have their "hits" co-written by ten other writers!
@@fiftyshadesofgrey1991 He struggled in his personal life, but donated millions anonymously to charitys and people in need, never requiring recognition for his kind deeds. What part of that shouts "not a good man"?
@@fiftyshadesofgrey1991 You would never claim anything as ridiculous as this if you knew him personally! He's an absolute sweetheart! George Michael was a legendary singer/ songwriter and he was my favorite at a time until he died 3 years ago. He had a lovely face and a natural singer. He will be in my heart at all time .
He was at his prime during this period of his life. Doesn’t get any better than this. His voice was beautiful and effortless. You are the first to mention his breath control which always amazed me. His backup singers were with him for years as well as his musicians.
Breath control you are spot on with, and the nuances of his mic control too combined let him keep his breath sounds from coming through into the mix outside a few milliseconds before a few of the vocal lines but that's probably intentional cuz it adds to the epicness and building anxiety for his delivery and inflection. To say this dude was good is an insult of an understatement
I love this in a minor chord. His vibrato is sublime. He was just the perfect pop star. Also a very very generous person without wanting attention drawn to it. What a loss his passing was. His backup singers are top notch and add more than backup to this performance. I’d call them co-singer. Brilliant!
Nobody today can touch George Michael's talent. Total professional on stage, he never used autotune, he just sang with his heart. What you see is what you get. He got better with time.

An astounding artist on so many levels and dearly missed. RIP George. Great review, thank you and very much enjoyed watching the emotions wash over you.
George Michael is as good live if not better than on record. And does it with such nonchalance.
