Ms.Caldwell lives forever, simply bc Bob was kind enough to share her with us. Not only does she live on through her immediate family and friends but now through ppl literally all over the world. Her laugh, her jokes, her reading Monet to not ever go back Drag Race lol, it all lives foreverr. Not everyone can say they help set their parents up for a beautiful legacy. Bob can tho❤️

You both bring so much light into my life. I've never seen a podcast host-duo that shows love and care as genuine as what Bob & Pepp show for each other. Every topic is discussed with such passion and complexity that I’m always shocked with how quick each episode goes by but look forward to what topic may come next. I'm so grateful for the amount of episodes y'all have already put out because I will always go back to them to re-listen. This podcast may have an end, but the light you both bring into so many lives will last forever 💗

I'm 47 years old and nonbinary. I have been waiting literal decades for people to care about the CRITICAL truths Bob and Miss Peppermint have so eloquently said here. The fact so many people refuse to care in the past is the reason we are where we are right now. Young People, our darling children, seeing you care SO FIERCELY about each other and human rights in the here and now is like seeing the cavalry coming over the hill at the final hour. We need you, we believe in you, and we are here with you. It WILL be a battle, but we finally have hope because YOU are here, listening, registering, and willing to turn out to vote.

I think all the point made are very valid except for the fact no one spoke about the abolition of the current electoral system and the structure of politics in the US. If the US wants fairness, they have to abolish the Electoral College and all of that nonsense. Also, a democracy has to have more than 2 political parties. A two party system is always one step away from a dictatorship. That's why people feel their votes don't matter, because they feel both options are basically the same option, especially when their state always votes, basically, for the same person.
Here's for this season and many more! 🥂 Huge hugs for both Bob and Pep 🤗 and, of course, rest in power Martha Caldwell!✊

Damn, this was hard to watch. It takes a strong person to allow themselves to be this vulnerable in front of thousands of people. I lost my mother 9 years ago and it still hurts to this day. You lose a piece of yourself that you never truly get back. I think of it as a testament to how amazing our mothers were. It feels like the world should stop and you watch everyone keep going while you're frozen in time. It's so hard and I'm glad that Bob has so many people around that love him to help him through this.
RIP Ms Martha, rest easy. I hope the town hall picks up again for season 4 when they feel it's the right time but I'm sure going to miss seeing these two.

It was a great run, yall. Seriously.
I sent the message on IG but I'm still curious about this topic: I want stories about the trans/queer migrations away from states that are blatantly targeting us. Or the inability to migrate- the folks that either didn't make the means to move, chose not to for other reasons, or have dug their heels in and refuse.

Hi Peppermint and Bob! So sad that this will be your last episode. I learned so much with your videos, I will miss u a lot. Peppermint, if you would like to learn more about AI, I suggest you check the algorithmic justice league and the documentary "code bias". Working in the field, I can tell that tech is not good nor bad. It's how it is used that makes and difference, and we should definitely make sure it is used in an ethical way. Everyone should get educated because it has started to affect all of us, and it will only grow from here. I wish you both the best, and I hope you'll be back soon 🙏

This was an amazing series and your points are at the core of what's going wrong in our country. I don't think Pep was going on too much of a tangent because screen addiction and the depersonalization of human communication is feeding extremism. Games and VR are addictive for dopamine hits, as is unnecessary online shopping, as is the algorithms that keep people entrenched in their views to the point of extremism. Corporations thrive off addiction. The war on drugs has led to for profit prisons effectively using prison labor, big food keeps food scientists on the payroll to make every single aspect of their food addictive and it becomes a comforting escape for people in mental/physical/social crisis, drug dealers on the street are taking cues from big businesses and cutting their drugs with fentanyl that is turning into a horrible situation affecting already vulnerable people. I know there's more to this but we're just so disconnected from reality and distracted and misinformed about what's going on. Not to mention we've got a supreme court who wants to take our rights away and may soon decide to make being homeless a criminal offense and a potential president has said he wants to put the homeless in encampments. And when it comes to participating in local elections I live in upstate SC and will of course vote for the potential democratic congresswoman but the republican candidate who will no doubt win had a runoff yesterday I couldn't bring myself to participate in because it was a young Trump endorsed sycophant vs an extremist white Christian nationalist whose platform was attacking DEI and wasting time on going after the president's son. It's such a disturbing place to be. I want to be involved in local politics but I'm outnumbered by insane white nationalists. Where does one even begin to make their vote count other than moving to a battleground location that I have no interest living in. I have been veering towards volunteer work over political involvement because I realize this but when it comes to making a difference on a local political level it feels super hopeless if you don't want to become a struggling local politician who will constantly lose for decades...
    Sorry for the long comment.

Just in the middle of hearing this. Sad to hear you’re ending this podcast as I like watching them on here. Also I agree on the type of person who always seem to have an issue with the term Woke. It’s always the white/white demographic. Who always deem it toward POC and LGBTQIA+ communities. It irks me when they say that they are fed up of society being woke. It’s always about POC and the LGBTQIA+ because they don’t like being called out for the BS or their bigotry that they spout. As a society we need to have certain conversations and address the issues that keep preventing us from moving forward. I’m in the UK. And recently a lot of things have trickled over from the US. And some people are being so much more aggressive and in your face about certain things racism and homophobia has always been around sadly. But people were more sly, should I say about it. Where as they are constantly trying to separate ethnicity and place of birth. And whitewashing the country. When this country has had a mixed society for longer than they try to pretend. Also educating people on LGBTQIA+ issues to help children be more open and understanding that not everyone is the same. But as soon as it comes up. People use religion and woke as a way to try and say why does it need to be addressed it’s no one’s business. But in fact not just the UK but most countries want us to stay in our “lanes” and they would prefer it how it was just a few decades ago. Where we’d have to stay on the edge and we were miserable and angry. And we are only accepted if we are for entertainment and being made a mockery of. And seen as less than. That is why we have to still continue making a stand. Not just within the communities we are apart of but across the board. As you can’t separate equality and say only some are deserving. It’s across the board. And i loved that you said you have to take a stand for all and listen not just picking what affects you and ignoring the rest. ❤. ( that last bit may have been in the Juneteenth episode. lol. X
