      Use it for so2 molecules u won't get correct one. It is applicable for some of the organic molecules only

    25 sigma bond, c=9, c-1+other atom=9-1+17=8+17=25 and 2 pie bond

    For cyclic compounds,
    No of sigma bonds=atomicity-1+no.of rings
    Ex:benzene,C6H6
    No.of sigma bonds=12-1+1=12

    The answer for it is
    (9-1)+17
    8+17 = 25 sigma bonds
    So answer for this question is 25 sigma bonds plus 2 pi bonds

    Simple than this:If there is only one bond it should be sigma
    If there are are two or more one should be sigma and rest are pie

      There are 9 carbon then -1=8
      Other molecule number =17
      Then 8+17=25
      That means 25 sigma bonds.
      And 2 pie bond cause only 2 double bond are present. Double bond=1 sigma and one pie

      Like --C2H4 its a alkene group.so it has double bond
      And we know Double bond has 1 pie and one sigma.
      Then C2H2 Alkyne group. It has triple bond
      Triple bond=2 pie and 1 sigma
