As if you are good at everything🗿🗿 And also using a calculator doesn't mean that she don't know how to calculate. She's just making sure that you trust her by the calculation.
There is a correction for Ti she considered 3s^2 and 3p^6 as (n-1) but it is (n) so the ans is 1s^2 will be 2×1 2s^2 and 2p^6 will be 8×1 3s^2and 3p^6 will be8×0.35 3d^2 will become 3d^1 and it will give 1×0.35 4s^2 is cancel so will be zero 2×1+8×1+8×0.35+1×0.35+0 Will give 13.15 Zeff= 22-13.15=8.85
Mam but Ti me aap ne Sare ko 18 kyu kr diya 1(0.35) + 8(0.85) + 8 (1) + 2 (1) aata hai na mam because vo (n-1), (n-2) aese aata hai na mam (toh fir ye answer galat hoga na mam)
Maybe bcoz we have to calculate effective Z for one d subshell electron . So that particular electron will have no effect on Z effective. and the other one would have an effect.
Komali M mam I am the aspirant for coming NEET. I have complications in my mind about solving the MCQ's of stereo & optical isomerism please if you have any trick to solve them , please provide such supporting videos soon thanks mam 😃 Thanks Your wishes are like God gift for me ...........🙃😃😇👼
I think it depends on question in lithium we find for 2s1 e- so we take (n-1) and in boron we find for 2p1 so we leave it and take whole 2s1 and put values
Hi mam!!! I'm watching every vedios nd jst ur amazing with ur knowledge.. Thank you so much for ur efforts... 😊..., Mam i have a request, I can't understand this slaters rule tat hw ur neglecting some terms nd there is some confusion. Can u pls clarify with some more info mam?? 🙃
Excuse me mam, I have a question? In the Titanium one, is the 3d orbital together with 3s and 3p because in my book it says they are not together so if it was like that then the electron of 3d that remains is n, then 3s3p is n-1, which is a 0.85 and then the others are 1. I'm not sure, I have seen the correction below but it still confuses me because my book divides d and f orbitals from the p and s orbitals even if they have the same general quantic number (in the Ti case is 3) Could you please help? Thank you!

Amazing explanation mam , new buddies do watch the video she really taught very good 👍🙏🙏
👍👍👍👍nice explanation mam
But using calculator for adding 18+.35
😂😂 maths is too much weak 😂
Mam is for chemistry not for maths🎉😅
I was also thinking 😂 weak maths
Madam I had a doubt i.e why you took 1 d electron in Titanium. @ 8:34. please clarify it immediately mam.
I have the same doubt.
chemistry 🤯maths🤡
As if you are good at everything🗿🗿
And also using a calculator doesn't mean that she don't know how to calculate. She's just making sure that you trust her by the calculation.
Mam was using a calculator for taking less time...
There is a correction for Ti she considered
3s^2 and 3p^6 as (n-1) but it is (n) so the ans is
1s^2 will be 2×1
2s^2 and 2p^6 will be 8×1 3s^2and 3p^6 will be8×0.35
3d^2 will become 3d^1 and it will give 1×0.35
4s^2 is cancel so will be zero
2×1+8×1+8×0.35+1×0.35+0
Will give 13.15
Zeff= 22-13.15=8.85
Hello. Her calculations are correct. I recommend you to watch her newer video: ruclips.net/video/CAhhKY9m8tQ/видео.htmlsi=anjs7-GyVh2a6FvH
You are right brother
I dont know how to thank u mam ... love from tamil nadu kanyakumari ❤
Mam but Ti me aap ne Sare ko 18 kyu kr diya 1(0.35) + 8(0.85) + 8 (1) + 2 (1) aata hai na mam because vo (n-1), (n-2) aese aata hai na mam (toh fir ye answer galat hoga na mam)
See the correct ans I have given in comment
And for d and fblock there is no 0.85
n=0.35
n-1=1
n-2=1
Because you are calculating for an electron which is in d orbital
Loved your teaching ! 🤩🤩🤩

Mam can u plz explain y 3d2 contributes only 1 electron

We have to reduce 1 from the outermost electron.... e.g- for 4s2 we take 1 electron
For 2p6 we take 6-1=5 i.e 5 electron
