Very true! solo camping was something else. glad i did it because it was way more fun than i ever thought. the whole process i find great. you are probably right about the motel 6, lol id rather sleep in the woods where its safe😅so glad you enjoyed PD i cant wait to get out again soon!
This camping trip was so peaceful. I definitely enjoyed the solo camping way more than I thought i would have. I guess with filming, setting up, cooking and maintaining the fire made the night fly by! Cant beat some delicious walking tacos. A hiking staple🤣

In Texas we call them, Frito pies, and we cut the bag along the side, but with your method, you can get a lot more toppings in the bag, which is also good, don't forget the onions! 🔥 I love watching your videos, you're such a laid-back dude...I feel like I'm watching a friend in his adventures, instead of a you-tuber. ☮️

Haha judy! Camping solo was so much fun. I thought I'd be scared and listening for animals all night and not be able to enjoy myself. It was the complete opposite. I was so relaxed and kept busy it really enjoyed it! Perfect weather! Cant wait to get out and camp again😊

I absolutely love this new home! Haha going to be my go to spot to have a quick getaway. Such a beautiful area and the night was so peaceful next to the fire. And cant say it enough. That hammock tent was so comfortable!
Alicia this was absolutely amazing haha! That hammock was one of my best gear buys of the the year! Had the most comfortable sleep on that! Best thing it weighs under 2lbs and I can take it out on hike and hang it up and enjoy locations more😊 how beautiful was that morning sky? Those colors were so beautiful!!

Thanks so much Linda 😁 I was unsure about the hammock too when I first got it and set it up. But when the sides are out and you have your sleep pad and bag inside its perfect. I honestly never had a more comfortable full sleep camping than I did here. This tent was definitely a great addition to the gearbox! I glad you enjoyed the camp video. Im loving getting out there and filming them!

I would love to sleep under the stars again, but definitely not alone. Always wanted to try a hammock. The morning sky was beautiful. Haven't seen blue skies for a couple of weeks here but should start to get better soon. Looking forward to the next campout.

My grandfather was a hard worker & enjoyed napping in his hammock in the yard. That does look comfy! Does it sway very much if you change positions while sleeping? Your fire was amazing. Very cool, Mike! I'm curious, did you hear any wildlife around you after you got in the hammock tent? I enjoy camping a couple times a year, not sure how I feel about going it alone though!
It was actually so quite the whole night! That was my biggest fear when i set out to go solo. But I figured I have a better chance getting hurt on my way driving to the site as i do camping in the woods. Kept my food away from the hammock when I went to bed and kept the fire burning. It was such a great experience

Two questions, how do you find these places and how safe do you feel camping all alone? Was it legal for you to camp there? I ask because you said you needed to get packed up before anyone spotted you...lol
Heya MalJ 👋😊 to answer the questions haha. I just find these spots when I'm out adventuring or hiking trails. I see a spot that I think would be an awesome place to spend the night if I were hiking and just keep note of it. And as for camping alone. This was my 1st time going solo and to be completely honest I was completely comfortable out there alone. I wasn't really worried about animals or people as I thought I would be. I think that I was kept busy up until I went to sleep. I also had some self defense with me. As for legality. Kind of a grey area. Lol. I try to get in and out haha
I noticed you didn't check for widow-makers! You might want to mention that to your viewers in future videos! Especially if you're in a hammock! Great stealth camp!
You're absolutely right. I didn't even think of it! I had found and had the site cleared the time prior to actually camping! I'll definitely make sure to mention that in future videos. Two questions, how do you find these places and how safe do you feel camping all alone?
Was it legal for you to camp there? I ask because you said you needed to get packed up before anyone spotted you...lol
Heya MalJ 👋😊 to answer the questions haha. I just find these spots when I'm out adventuring or hiking trails. I see a spot that I think would be an awesome place to spend the night if I were hiking and just keep note of it. And as for camping alone. This was my 1st time going solo and to be completely honest I was completely comfortable out there alone. I wasn't really worried about animals or people as I thought I would be. I think that I was kept busy up until I went to sleep. I also had some self defense with me. As for legality. Kind of a grey area. Lol. I try to get in and out haha
I've just got same hammock for about £20 on Amazon, looking forward to trying it out 👍

You're absolutely right. I didn't even think of it! I had found and had the site cleared the time prior to actually camping! I'll definitely make sure to mention that in future videos. Safety is always number 1!
