If he’s a narcissist then their wanting you back is solely for their own ego. They will even say everything they know you want to hear...pull you back into the old cycle and have you in their back pocket. You have to go by the general pattern of the whole relationship and decide if your willing to take that risk of opening yourself up again or not. Of there where strong traits of Narcissistic behaviors all along then take great caution in opening that door again.

Everyone should totally forget the 30 days. I'm not sure where it originated but no contact could be anywhere from 1 day to forever. The only purpose 30 days could serve is as a milestone for the person doing no contact---that is, if you can go 30 days then you can go as long as it takes.
Should you still stay nc forever when your ex was willing to see you but only casually after the break? I saw my ex for a year after he broke up w me- I initiated contact and he’d respond, but was emotionally shut down. Honestly, I gave my heart to the fullest and I'm still in pain. Not as intense as time passes, but I never stop thinking about him. No matter how hard I try to move on, the soul tie is still there. It's so damn tormenting. At times I think about reaching out, but my brain always overcomes that trap. Plus I would never give him the satisfaction. I have tried dating, but my standards are there and most guys will try me. So with that, it makes me feel worse. But, I will not give in. Stay strong! Unfortunately, when I do cry, it hits me harder than ever. The past few days have been so painful for some reason and it feels like the breakup happened last week even though its been 7 months since the breakup and now nearly 90 days since I last talked to her. It makes it harder just knowing I was not a jerk or abusive or a piece of crap in any way to her to deserve this. I am not perfect and I do the same annoying things that other guys do to their significant others but I know I was not a bad partner. Jessie Palermo it’s definitely a journey. Your wound is still fresh. It’s definitely normal to have good days and then boom, sadness, anger, grief and playing things over and over in your head happen and you are in the dumps. So much so it hurts physically. The first 2 months I had so many days were I had to remind myself to eat just to puke because of the physical pain in my gut. Not to mention no sleep because of my dreams and anxiety. I really needed God and lots of therapy. Even two years later. It gets better because you eventually learn to live with the wound better. Weird I know. But that will protect you as well. You have to know that you did not deserve it and the other person has issues that they are still immature about and need to get help with. Unfortunately many hurt people hurt people. Just make sure you take your time and heal and don’t do like many were they are not healed and still try and date people. I unfortunately was the rebound he strung along for 8 years.

This woman knows what she’s talking about. I broke up with my fiancée two weeks ago, she offered friend zone and I declined. After we settled our business (returning each other’s stuff) I went no contact. I do wonder how she’s doing but I’m not going to reach out at all. If I never hear from her again, that’s fine. It's almost a month now, I feel peace even though its painful. I love him more than I love myself, I think that's what cause problems with us. Now I blocked him, I have lots of guys I talk to now, which I usually ignore everyone when I was obsessed with him for 2 years. It feels nice, to open my eyes and heart for other people who probably will be the one who see my worth 🙂 till now I still listen to his voice notes everyday, but I don't think I will reach out to him after 30 days or so. If he reach me first, I'm not sure I want him to come back. It's really sad not being with him, I'm broken. But it's better this way, because when I'm with him, it's not just broken, it's a loophole of breaking apart over and over again.

I think its quite damaging making videos about how going no contact is about getting your ex back. I've been here before some years ago and it didn't work, i'm here again with a recent break up. Unfortunately some of us have been equipped with a panic button when break ups happen. No contact, SHOULD BE ABOUT YOU PERIOD!!!!! not laws of attraction as it all seems very manipulative being strategic on how to get you ex back also it isn't healthy holding onto a false hope for reconciliation as hurtful as it is, i know i sure as hell don't want to here it. For me & unfortunately the logic brain immediately fly's out the window and i go into blind panic, then anxiety, overthinking etc all very horrible, specifically in this case speaking with partner rationalizing the break up and to be fair having fairly logical approach no begging, no hurtfulness but as the panic sets in i asked her respectfully to block me on all forms of social media in order to protect myself by not having a temptation to reach out as my mind's doing overtime, which she obliges for me to then reach out by by email and up offloading some of my hurt onto her very briefly. I readily accept this wasn't ideal although far from being a train wreck, but break ups hurt and quite maddening, sometimes its your way of navigating the hurt. Thankfully this was brief and went into no contact, break up was 9 days ago and last communication 4 days ago, i readily accept that i will unlikely hear from her and feel these videos shouldn't be about you gaining someone back, false hope is exactly that false. Stop plugging vulnerable people who are hurt, with something that is unlikely to work thereby extending there anguish, I have noticed looking through the comments section that there are very few follow ups of people having made comments for help where there is actual success stories .....
Till today I was in quite a bit of pain because the person I love and the person who loves me are in this corona situation going strange. We had for the biggest part a magical 4 months together until the corona where we separated due to circumstances. We still didn't know how to deal with certain situations and had a confrontation. And even though I thought I was right in my arguments, ultimately she after a while was behaving differently and communicated less and less and less and I tried to use more heart and reason to try to pursway that we have a magical relationship so far and not fall in to negative lingering when we can fix everything. But now she wanted space for herself and even though Im really really keen on trying to communicate and be correct in growing together (which I think a healthy relationship is about), she neglects all of it at the moment and says she wants her space. And the weirdest thing is, really she has given so much love and attention to me. Many things like: you are to me the most beautiful and most hottest. Or I thought that women always had a much more beautiful body, until I met you. Or I will follow where you go. I love you and you know that she says. Or, since I showed her my cooking and my background cuisine, she says things like "you ruined how I look at food because of you" in the most complimentary way" and so on and so on. Like this all happened till 5 weeks ago where she was almost like beyond the clouds in so many ways. Im just giving examples. Because the point is that this all makes it even more confusing for me. until we went in corona, where things became difficult and were we came into a situation where we handled on texts things that we may better have handled in reality. But yah, Im the one receiving the blame without constructive criticism . but alright. So these video's really really gives me more relief. Im on my first day of not contacting her, and it was really really difficult until I found the video. Whatever happens. Im atleast prepared to take my power back that I have given too much. My love and my warmth and heart. So what do you guys think. continue strong no constact? Will you think in the situation that it's going to make her realise things? And if she doesn't reply to me in no contact, then I just move on, but with a better me Because ultimately Im realising that I actually have reflected for 5 weeks straight already and made all kinds of insights in to being a better person already, while ofcourse facing the full brunt of this person who was already in a no-contact kind of way, but now literally. I have nothing to lose, and I'm actually getting stronger.

30 day NC rule is B.S. It's as long as it takes until the Ex reaches out. Usually 45-60 day of NC is the hot spot where they are likely to reach out. When they do, don't ignore them unless you don't want want them back.

I was with a narcissist and was a compulsive at telling lies I started to believe I was going crazy. I stuck by her for along time because I thought she would learn from what she was doing to me. In the end I started no contact. She was doing anything to get my attention and speak with me. I do still love the person but I can’t be treated in a bad way that’s why I left now I showed alot of feelings and stuff but I did learn to not show feelings to much and not tell them everything about yourself. Being with the person I was with has completely changed my life I was very vulnerable. But lesson in life and grew from the situation. Trust for people has gone but slowly getting back there. There is good people out there who just want to be in a loving relationship and not play silly mind games and play about with peoples feelings. Being single right now is great it’s like freedom but hopefully I will meet someone nice who will love me like I love them in the future good luck people don’t entertain no garbage if your gut tells you it’s usually right I ignored my gut feeling my of times and it was right. 🙏😎❤️

if someone hasn't contacted you in 3 months you should absolutely accept that it's over because it probably is... yes there are exceptions to that rule but by definition you are probably the rule

On day 10 and it was my hardest day. What keeps me going is that I did not deserve this. If they love you they would have tried to work things out and not leave you. I look back at how amazing I was to her and keep thinking that she’s going to regret it, she has to. And if she doesn’t then I’m much better off without her. Don’t cave, they know you miss them and they know you will take them back. Help them start to question if that’s true and they will be forced to reach out to you.
No contact is great if you want to move on. If you want your ex back..its a horrible idea to use no contact. I'd limit contact, be more elusive, dont be available as often etc. But any intelligent woman/man will see through your mind games and leave your ass in the dust. For over a year my ex has remained alone and will see me casually when I initiate contact- he tells me he’s in a “weird place” and I deserve better. He’s emotionally shut down. I went nc 3 weeks ago- I’m letting him feel his choice to leave, and also drawing my boundaries. He’s free to reach out to me and I’d reply. I’m not blocking him- just not reaching out. It may cause him to lose all trust in me but I think he gave up on us over a year ago anyway.

Jeremy Arnold No, neither one of us has moved on since our break. I still would like to make it work and I’m not looking for anyone else. I’ve been standing on my own for the first time in 30 years- I was married young and now divorced. He’s been depressed and shut down since the break. He’s avoidant- they have a hard time believing in relationships and trusting. Even now, I miss his friendship. He’s kept me at arm’s length the past year but I’m still the closest female to him and I’m the first ex he didn’t remove from his phone. He said he liked that I reached out to him and I made things better for him, which was good to hear, but I felt we were stuck in limbo and the best thing to do at this point was no contact. I miss him, but I’m trying to keep the faith. Trying not to panic in our time and space and hoping he doesn’t get the wrong idea. If it’s meant to be, it will be. For now I’m focusing on me, my kids and work.

Enough time in between people and the magic dies. The spark is extinguished. They're just a very vague memory and they become a regular person that you wont reconnect with. I felt I had to face reality- 16 months post break and he’s only offering FWB. I initiate all texts. He doesn’t want to go out on a date or even talk on the phone. I thought if remaining in contact hasn’t worked than I’d be crazy to expect different results doing the same thing. I get you though- I hate the feeling of becoming strangers. Jessie Palermo it’s definitely a journey. Your wound is still fresh. It’s definitely normal to have good days and then boom, sadness, anger, grief and playing things over and over in your head happen and you are in the dumps. So much so it hurts physically. The first 2 months I had so many days were I had to remind myself to eat just to puke because of the physical pain in my gut. Not to mention no sleep because of my dreams and anxiety. I really needed God and lots of therapy. Even two years later. It gets better because you eventually learn to live with the wound better. Weird I know. But that will protect you as well. You have to know that you did not deserve it and the other person has issues that they are still immature about and need to get help with. Unfortunately many hurt people hurt people. Just make sure you take your time and heal and don’t do like many were they are not healed and still try and date people. I unfortunately was the rebound he strung along for 8 years.

It's almost a month now, I feel peace even though its painful. I love him more than I love myself, I think that's what cause problems with us. Now I blocked him, I have lots of guys I talk to now, which I usually ignore everyone when I was obsessed with him for 2 years. It feels nice, to open my eyes and heart for other people who probably will be the one who see my worth 🙂 till now I still listen to his voice notes everyday, but I don't think I will reach out to him after 30 days or so. I think its quite damaging making videos about how going no contact is about getting your ex back. I've been here before some years ago and it didn't work, i'm here again with a recent break up. Unfortunately some of us have been equipped with a panic button when break ups happen. No contact, SHOULD BE ABOUT YOU PERIOD!!!!! not laws of attraction as it all seems very manipulative being strategic on how to get you ex back also it isn't healthy holding onto a false hope for reconciliation as hurtful as it is, i know i sure as hell don't want to here it.
For me & unfortunately the logic brain immediately fly's out the window and i go into blind panic, then anxiety, overthinking etc all very horrible, specifically in this case speaking with partner rationalizing the break up and to be fair having fairly logical approach no begging, no hurtfulness but as the panic sets in i asked her respectfully to block me on all forms of social media in order to protect myself by not having a temptation to reach out as my mind's doing overtime, which she obliges for me to then reach out by by email and up offloading some of my hurt onto her very briefly. I readily accept this wasn't ideal although far from being a train wreck, but break ups hurt and quite maddening, sometimes its your way of navigating the hurt.
Thankfully this was brief and went into no contact, break up was 9 days ago and last communication 4 days ago, i readily accept that i will unlikely hear from her and feel these videos shouldn't be about you gaining someone back, false hope is exactly that false.
Stop plugging vulnerable people who are hurt, with something that is unlikely to work thereby extending there anguish, I have noticed looking through the comments section that there are very few follow ups of people having made comments for help where there is actual success stories .....
Till today I was in quite a bit of pain because the person I love and the person who loves me are in this corona situation going strange. We had for the biggest part a magical 4 months together until the corona where we separated due to circumstances. We still didn't know how to deal with certain situations and had a confrontation. And even though I thought I was right in my arguments, ultimately she after a while was behaving differently and communicated less and less and less and I tried to use more heart and reason to try to pursway that we have a magical relationship so far and not fall in to negative lingering when we can fix everything. But now she wanted space for herself and even though Im really really keen on trying to communicate and be correct in growing together (which I think a healthy relationship is about), she neglects all of it at the moment and says she wants her space. And the weirdest thing is, really she has given so much love and attention to me. Many things like: you are to me the most beautiful and most hottest. Or I thought that women always had a much more beautiful body, until I met you. Or I will follow where you go. I love you and you know that she says. Or, since I showed her my cooking and my background cuisine, she says things like "you ruined how I look at food because of you" in the most complimentary way" and so on and so on. Like this all happened till 5 weeks ago where she was almost like beyond the clouds in so many ways. Im just giving examples. Because the point is that this all makes it even more confusing for me.
until we went in corona, where things became difficult and were we came into a situation where we handled on texts things that we may better have handled in reality. But yah, Im the one receiving the blame without constructive criticism . but alright.
So these video's really really gives me more relief. Im on my first day of not contacting her, and it was really really difficult until I found the video.
Whatever happens. Im atleast prepared to take my power back that I have given too much. My love and my warmth and heart.

I was with a narcissist and was a compulsive at telling lies I started to believe I was going crazy. I stuck by her for along time because I thought she would learn from what she was doing to me. In the end I started no contact. She was doing anything to get my attention and speak with me. I do still love the person but I can’t be treated in a bad way that’s why I left now I showed alot of feelings and stuff but I did learn to not show feelings to much and not tell them everything about yourself. Being with the person I was with has completely changed my life I was very vulnerable. But lesson in life and grew from the situation. Trust for people has gone but slowly getting back there. I'd limit contact, be more elusive, dont be available as often etc. But any intelligent woman/man will see through your mind games and leave your ass in the dust. Jeremy Arnold No, neither one of us has moved on since our break. I still would like to make it work and I’m not looking for anyone else. I’ve been standing on my own for the first time in 30 years- I was married young and now divorced. He’s been depressed and shut down since the break. He’s avoidant- they have a hard time believing in relationships and trusting. Even now, I miss his friendship. He’s kept me at arm’s length the past year but I’m still the closest female to him and I’m the first ex he didn’t remove from his phone. He said he liked that I reached out to him and I made things better for him, which was good to hear, but I felt we were stuck in limbo and the best thing to do at this point was no contact. I miss him, but I’m trying to keep the faith. Trying not to panic in our time and space and hoping he doesn’t get the wrong idea. If it’s meant to be, it will be. For now I’m focusing on me, my kids and work.

Enough time in between people and the magic dies. The spark is extinguished. They're just a very vague memory and they become a regular person that you wont reconnect with. I felt I had to face reality- 16 months post break and he’s only offering FWB. I initiate all texts. He doesn’t want to go out on a date or even talk on the phone. I thought if remaining in contact hasn’t worked than I’d be crazy to expect different results doing the same thing.
