    Hey man, I live in the states and I just got my 2024 ranger raptor after waiting a year since I ordered it. There are no aftermarket accessories available yet. I was thinking about trying to order a front spacer kit to level my truck since they rake so much from the factory. Do you have the brand of the spacers or a website you can point me to in order to order a spacer leveling kit and have it shipped over? Thanks for any help.

    So I watched a UK review and the reviewer said he had to turn off the lane keep assist off on his ranger raptor every time he started the engine, so that got me wondering about the other "nanny" functions like auto braking and the precollision system. Do the nanny features and lane assist stay turned off when you shut off and restart the engine like in the broncos, or do they default to on every time it starts up? Cheers!

    Strut spaces should never be used because you’re moving the suspension away from the bump stops. Now when the bump stop is compressed, you’re over compressing the shock and you’ll blow it out or break it in half. There are RUclips channels that go into the engineering behind it. Your rear is sagging because you overloaded the springs with the extra weight. Change the springs, don’t add spacers.

      I would normally agree with this. And I did have the same opinion. I know it’s hard to believe but the raptor ranger actually has no bump stops in either the front or rear

    Hey mate - thanks for video. Can I ask, did you go with the front coils KFFR-123 (lift 45) and the rear KFRR-124 with the 1 inch for the back?
    Also any update down the track. Still all good.
    I am also having problems with the back sagging too much and I dont even carry that much gear with me ???

      They’re the ones. 123 in the front and 124 in the back. It’s still perfect no issues at all

    Hi - I very much want to believe that after replacing the coils the suspension is like from factory but I can't - by changing the coils, to get for example + 2'', the ride height is inevitably changed as well. This means two things. A. The ratio of bound and rebound travel of the shock is changed - after the replacement, the rebound travel decreases by 2'' and the bound increases by 2'' i.e there is much less up travel.
    B (specifically because these are by pass shocks and as a consequence of A.): the ports of the internal by pass may have been over passed due to this change this change of bound/rebound i.e it can be that the bypass feature is partially or totally "disabled" or as a matter of fact, depending on where this bypass ports are located, it could be that bypass is all the time working for no reason -
    all depends on where are these ports located - for sure wherever they are, they have been designed according to the factory ride height, not +2''.
    The above is my understanding. I really hope you can prove me wrong as I really want to fit mine with 35'' and I keep stopping myself due to the above thoughts.

      Should you consider a small spacer on front? Like 20mm only. Because the spacer will not change nothing internal of the shocks, and will give some wheel room for 35”. For sure, will lost 20mm travel when wells going down. Other solution is just go to 295/70r17, but I really want to remove the “nose down” style from the RR. Cheers

    When you put 35 , how bad was the fuel economy affected? And acceleration? Or the rim is lighter than stock?

    • @HappyGoTravel
      @HappyGoTravel  14 дней назад

      fuel averages around 15l /100km. You don't notice acceleration until its lined up against mine on 33s

    New to lifting vehicles but looking to lift my raptor when it’s delivered. Is it feasible to fit the 123 coil to both the front and rear to give an even lift? Or does the 123 only fit the front coil? Thanks

    • @HappyGoTravel
      @HappyGoTravel  Год назад +1

      To my knowledge it’s only a front coil. You cold talk to king about it. Generally speaking you want the back to sit a little higher for when you load it with gear etc
