Early UAVs were caught in nets. Fly it right into a Walmart Badminton net! Who needs landing gear and wheels
Unless your bird has landing gear, your going to prang that thing into the dirt unless you do one of those “butterfly with sore feet” landings.
You Sir are correct. My first landing in grass looked like a javelin stuck in the ground. I have since moved it to the side. Thanks for the tip though.
