Из этой стали делают пальцы соединения траков гусениц у танков . Так вот за 38 лет , поменял всего 3 ключа !! Ключи - вечные !! КАРАМБА !!!
Thank you for watching. This tool is hss. We call it a hill finish tool. It is used when sharpening the cutting edge as flat and sharp as possible to finish at low rotation. Since the rotation speed is low, a mobile steady rest can be used to process even longer materials without vibration.

Here is a very "ignorant" question. What is the purpose of using that flat tool at minute 9:00? You used it previous to this as well. Is that a finish tool? You have finished the piece with the previous tool! Why go through that extra step? I've worked many years on these machines and never had to do that when you can do the finish pass with the same tool.

In Japan, anyone who uses a general-purpose lathe uses it, so I thought it was common. It is called "Healthia Gebite" in Japanese.
При всём уважении к труду токаря, я бы не рекомендовал использование 45й стали, у уж закалка горелкой на воду просто жесть! Надо взять хорошую, среднелегированную сталь типа 38Х2Н2МЮА, которая в состоянии поставки проката обеспечит ключу необходимые мех.требования. Был случай, когда я буквально улетел в момент поломки ключа из 45й стали. После этого сделал ключ из вышеназванной стали, и работаю им более 25 лет, при этом нет ни малейших деформаций в сечении квадрата.
Я просто сделал ключ из вт8. По краям ручки радиусна большего диаметра чем сама ручка. Ручка двигается влева вправо и поджимает её шарик с пружинкой, которые вставлины с торца ключа и зафиксированы болтиком с потаем. На ручке сделаны бороздки, где мне удобно, чтоб фиксировать положение ручки шариком. А здесь видео не перфекцианизм, а просто видео, где хоть что нибудь, чтоб выложить видео. Человек не умеет работать, а только научился точить. Я токорь СПУ, стаж 13 лет. Т. е. не диванный эксперт. Челочек чем-то занят уже хорошо. Так держать автор.

きれいな作業。先端焼き入れのとき、冷めるまでちょっと置いといてから水冷する理由はなんでしょうか？

S45Cの適正焼入温度範囲は820～870℃ですので、その程度に冷めるまで待っています。
動画なので正確な色味がわかりにくいのですが、加熱部の発光にオレンジの色味が残っている状態(900℃以上)で水冷すると、焼き割れといって亀裂が入ってしまい使い物にならなくなることがあります。
焼き割れ防止の為に少し冷ましてから水冷しました。
旋盤+チャックハンドルといえば、高専時代につけたまま旋盤起動して吹っ飛ばした覚えがあるな、先輩は屋根に穴開けたって言ってたし。

Совершенно верно можно улететь, я тоже себе сделал ключ из 45 Сали и закалил горелкой но вставил стержень из ст.3 .
Я просто сделал ключ из вт8. По краям ручки радиусна большего диаметра чем сама ручка. Ручка двигается влева вправо и поджимает её шарик с пружинкой, которые вставлины с торца ключа и зафиксированы болтиком с потаем.
