Get the package to the pad & get YOUR ass off this planet, I got your back .” Emile was planning on being the one left behind to make sure the pillar of autumn got out safe that’s why Emile said “I’m Ready, How bout you ?” When he got stabbed by the elite .. So even if 6 made it out Emile sadly would’ve suffered the same fate as 6 in lone wolf ..
Least 6 would've gotten off Reach and probably assist 117 down the road.
everything from reach is a tragedy if you think about it. despite noble 6's sacrifice, everyone on the Pillar Autumn is destined to a doomed fate with the exception of MC , Avery, and a handful of men. And even after that everyone on In Amber Clad dies along with the crew of Forward Onto Dawn. War sucks

And do t forget all those who were lost on Infinity during both Requiem campaigns, during Cortana’s rampage, and everyone on the Spirit of Fire due to Atriox’s forces.

simunator The crew of the Forward Unto Dawn didn’t die. They left on the Shadow of Intent with the Sanghelli. Also it is still possible for Noble Six to be alive depending on your views and 343i could do fan service of ret-conning his apparent “death” in Reach so he’s still alive on the surface but that’s just a theory.

We also call this level "Pillar of Awesomeness" when I jumped off the cliff.

The dude was a knight/samurai with the body of a Spartan. Give him some godly powers and he'd be another Doom Slayer.

The Field Marshall was the final boss of the game since he was the same Field Marshall that escaped in Winter Contingency and the same Field Marshall that shot Kat with a Needle Rifle. While Ardo 'Moretumee, the Elite General and Fleet Master of the CSO-Class Supercarrier the Long Night of Solace, whom we met at the Bridge of the Ardent Prayer Corvette was the first boss fight of the game.

I love the use of tribal drums in this level. It really helps bridge this game with Halo 1 beautifully, plus there’s something wonderful and yet sad about hearing the original Captain Keyes’s voice again after all this time.
Think about how differently halo CE would've been had Noble 6 went with Keyes. There would be two Spartans on the halo ring and maybe Keyes could've survived

He actually did have that chance but Noble stayed behind because a Covenant cruiser nearly destroyed the Autumn as it took off and if things turned out differently Captain Keyes would've not survived.
If Chief and Noble 6 fought alongside each other, Halo 2 would be a very short game.

23:40 this song right here is Lone Wolf which is Noble Six’s theme, this moment felt so epic because it’s like Noble Six’s last hurrah before ultimately making his sacrifice

***** Yes. Because the Autumn was ABOUT to save 6 and Emile, but Emile got stabbed so 6 had to man the cannon so Keyes' pelican could get away safely. It was 6's choice to stay behind.
Noah Fulkerson 1. Technically 7 years before the THOUGHT of making Reach, 9 years between their releases.
2. Neither John nor Linda was in the pod. It's non-canon and they're both in space at the time this is happening.
3. Not millions of civilians. Most civilians had either evacuated or died at this point. The Pillar of Autumn was the last operational ship leaving Reach, and it had a crew of about 300 if I remember correctly.
But your point remains. Halo 1 wouldn't have happened and 6 would've died either way. He did the right thing.

yes i know what happened in the game, 6 had to stay to clear the way. but I said what if keyes had sent out a pelican or something to get 6 after he had cleared the way. he cleared all enemies didn't he? so they could have technically recued him. yes an effort that could have cost everyone's life, but I think it could still happen.

i don't have more words to explain it's (HALO's) magnificent missions, gameplay, and ofcourse Spartans!

Anyone ever think about how these random marines who were able to configure that Mass Driver to take out ships saved all of humanity? Dudes never get no credit, Emile and 6 wouldn't have been able to do fuck all if those guys didn't set things up for them.

MAC cannon is literally impossible on heroic or higher
Its annoying but you just have nail all your shots and take out the banshees as soon as they appear as they kill you faster than the phantoms
My friend and I beat the whole thing on legendary and I feel you man it’s hard as shit trying to destroy all those phantoms but we did it.
I also saw a video that after you clear out the zealots just wait down the stairs by MAC until Keyes says hit her in the gut Lieutenant
