I've played all the Forza's from the beginning on the original Xbox, i'm playing Ride 4 at the moment. It's definitely got a steep learning curve! The only downside is the multiplayer, i've only ever seen about 8 people at the most online on Series X. Probably as multiplayer isn't cross gen with the 30fps Xbox One or crossplay with the PS5. Still it's good fun when you get the hang of it. Don't forget to grind the weekly challenges if you need credits for bikes!
Yes the Hyabusa clip in this video is from the weekly challenge. And you're right about multiplayer, I didn't see anyone when testing on XSX. Shame really - maybe if there's a sale we'll see more players.
The Ride game, which offers the most variety is Ride 2. Ride 4 has more tracks and better graphics but Ride 2 has more variety. Up to my mind. I think it is the best one so far. But Ride 4 looks and sounds interesting. Maybe I will get it with the season pass in a few months when the price comes down or I get the year 2 Snowrunner Pass..
Ride 4 has to be the most rewarding racing game I have ever played and Ive played a lot (including working at codemasters on the toca games) can be frustrating when you are starting but just stick at it and its well worth the effort! amazing game.
Good video. Not for me though. Any bike game I’ve ever tried, frustrated the heck out of me (as a race fan, but not a biker) I just really struggle with the view moving so much, and the falling off part 😆
TT island of man is one other great bike game. If you get it right it's so rewarding and racing trough the countrysite is just awesome. Is there any off track racing in ride 4 ?
I have 2 and 3 but, didn't plan on getting 4. Didn't finish the first two. The $11.99 sale price changed my mind. I'm not very good at the bike games. My only gripe is the difficulty level. Even on the easiest level the ai can be a pain. Once you leave them behind it's not bad but, make too many mistakes and they are back on you. Not to mention the fact that they will take you out with a smile. Make no mistake Ride 4 is a great game but, it's a little to close to being Moto GP.
I've only played a couple hours so far. But I like the challenge. I loved ride 2. Ans it seems like this will be just as enjoyable. Unfortunately I don't have wifi at my place so I am playing the base game without any updates. But no bugs yet
I see isle of man and can only think A Track Carelessly Conquered, as no one in their right mind aims for brick walls like that. Does the game give that same sense of peril as the on board cameras do?
@@ATribeCalledCars have to disagree 100%. I've been playing Forza since FM2 and have never missed a version since then. It's one of my favorite games of all time. FM is very forgiving...I have zero issues playing it, nor find it to be overly hard in any way. Ride 4 is very unforgiving (I actually dislike it completely over Ride 2 and 3) and Project Cars (and PC2) can be down right brutally unforgiving. I realize this is just my opinion and that others may have completely different experiences, but I just can't agree when I haven't had a single problem with Forza, ever (other than their rubber banding from time to time, but that's pretty much every non sim racer now).
Hey Ben, since you briefly discussed your YT income a couple videos ago as a tangent to stuff about your freelancing lifestyle, I wonder, how well does YT pay atm for a channel like yours? (just YT ads not sponsors) I know you can't reveal any specific numbers in public but is it significant compared to what you can make from other work you may be able to find? And do you see an opportunity of going full time anytime soon?
Hey Firefly. Let's just say that opportunity cost is a thing and I'd be earning a lot more full-time freelance (well, ignoring the year of Covid). However, I'm already in this full time and for the long run so maybe I'll recoup those lost earnings. It actually makes enough to live right now - and could be more if I only did SnowRunner stuff but I want the channel to stick with motoring as a whole. I also love the freedom and would struggle to go back to office life so I don't think I'll be going anywhere anytime soon!
So. Did a Game finally get close to PGR 4? PGR4 is not the most realistic Bikeracing, but the only Game up to Date, that got the Bikefeeling right. The feeling i have, when riding a bike outside of a Game. Since this Game i am looking for a Game that delivers. Could it really be Ride 4, finally? 0:
pgr 4 was awesome, bike wise. arcady as hell but I know what you mean about how the bikes felt. still haven't played a game with that same feel, including ride 4. but ride 4 is still a good game, especially compared to ride 3. I still think ride was the best feeling overall though. you are literally the only other person I've heard/seen mention pgr 4 for bike feel. and ride 4 does get some wobbles if you clip a rumble strip or quick transitions from one side to another. rumble strips can take you down. it just doesn't have the same feel as pgr 4 though. if you find ride 4 on sale, or if there's a demo, I'd recommend trying it out
Only push bikes and some trials motorbike stuff. I always wanted a motorbike but never had one! Would probably get something pretty upright or older, speed is awesome but I'm not sure I'd trust myself on a Hyabusa lol.
@@ATribeCalledCars I can't tell you how many times I've seen liter bikes (1000) and bigger laid out due to inexperience. I had my bike in for an checkup (was still under warranty) and the service manager told me I had just missed a 18 yr old lay out his just purchased CBR1000RR right in front of their shop. My first bike is the one I still ride (05 GSXR600) and is still fun to ride (and still capable of 74 mph in 1st gear). I've had it up to 175.

they need to make a ride horizon style game
Agreed! Seems like a gap in the market. Or maybe at least add official bikes to open world games already available.
The CREW2?
The crew 2 sucked dont do it . Because i did
it's a pity that there are not as many options as in RIDE 3. They could make an open world.

I actually roll with the third-person view most of the time, I'm faster this way! But it's less interesting to watch for a video.
This looks absolutely incredible. On sale now for Series X to boot.

@1:10 Even better, it is available for PC. :)
Just got a 86 inch 4k 120 hz tv so cant wait to try it out.
Sounds amazing. I'm currently on 4K 60. Would love to upgrade to 120.
Just picked Ride 4 and all the DLC for £10.49. I'm ready for the challenge at that price.
A good deal, some great racing to be had.

That's a good deal, should be a decent amount of biking action for the price of a couple of beers. Despite some tough racing!
@@ATribeCalledCars im starting to get it. With 2 and 3 I didn't want to put in the time necessary to learn them. I'm going to learn this one.

Ride 3 had character customisation too...? What do you mean by "its new to the series"??
So this game or Moto ho 21? What do we say Ben?
GP not ho, sorry
MotoHO sounds like the Christmas or XXX version. I'm waiting to test out MotoGP so unsure. I'll keep hounding the devs to get a code.
it is not motogp 21
@@ceverett68 I'm getting a MotoGP 21 code tomorrow hopefully so will do a comparison video.

Not quite the same peril but it feels rapid and intimidating so I'd say a job well done.
Just picked up the special edition for $11 on Xbox
Good price, some good racing to be had if you stick with it. Much harder than cars!
I still play ride 2 and get buckets load of fun out of it
Well maybe not a reason to upgrade but you'll see an even bigger difference going from the second to fourth game!
"The Forza of motorbikes"
Absolutely not. It's the Project Cars of Motorbikes. Forza is much more forgiving.
Forza Motorsport isn't that much easier. I find Project Cars was needlessly tedious with a controller, but things have improved.
