1 year OR 10,000 miles. It must have been on the lot being test driven for around a year.
Yeah, it sat in their storage lot the entire time. Luckily, we haven't experienced any problems at all with it.
Buy the Volkswagen funnel
That oil consumption is unacceptable!!!
unless I was drunk you were turning the filter in the wrong direction.
VW says it's normal to consume up to 1 quart per 1,200 miles? That would be over 8 quarts per a 10,000 oil change interval. No way that can be accurate.
That was printed in the user manual inside the glove compartment. I think VW does this as a CYA so they don't have to swap an engine out if it consumes less than 1qt for 1200 miles.
I believe the 1qt per 1200 miles might be for the first 3-4000 miles, not a permanent issue. My Jetta burned a small amount when new but it doesn’t use any with 63K.
Why can't I meet a girl like this
Am I the only person who is shocked by the 1 quart of oil use per 1200 miles? So it burns oil like a rotary.
We don't see that kind of oil use but it's listed as "normal" by VW, probably to prevent having to swap engines
when my oil light came on , I was horrified I only had maybe 1500 miles on my Jetta. Gee who reads the manual and who expects in this day and age cars use any oil. I love my Jetta SEL, I get between 43 to 48 mpg (gas) no hybrid.
The sizes are wrong. You should be using a T25 and T47.
If you use a t20 and a t45 you'll wear out the screw heads and strip them out.
So Beautiful girl, Regards from Mexico!!
If you leave the oil cap on you would not get that fast flow of oil.
Man, I'd love to see some safety redundancy incase those jacks fail.
They have a safety prop built into them.
The whole process look so painful and women abuse kinda.
I guess girl power needed man help a few times. Also both of you were turning the oil filter the wrong way initially
