Incredible video. Both killer players and super nice guys. I hung out with Steve asked him if he had any new projects going on. He said "I just put out a new solo album. Do you have it?" I was like no I don't. He grabs a copy out of his backpack and says "You do now." Hahaha. Once again amazing musicians and awesome people.
baily is a legend man. that techneique of his is one of a kind. same fr victor. and the drum pad guy is something els. how can u be so good on a drum pad wen its dat small. its crazy
Victor Wooten... If I had to describe his tone... it is like very hot crystal. It is really hot when it needs to be, but super clear. Really groovy sound.
Holy cow where's the drums? That's gotta be the coolest kit I ever seen. No more 2 hour set up time with those drums. Steve and Victor is just wow ! Hats off to the Soundguy great mix on the SL 16:4:2 I gotta get one of those mixer.
the songs bealry starts and there you have victor wooten with a one handed hamonic...he does everything so naturally...he plays the bass like hes breathing
the first ten seconds my friend was like "oh thats easy" around :14 he was like "oh??! what??!" than :24 came in and he said "what?? wha-?? damn!!!!!! groove for days my nigga!!!!" haha funniest thing ever
I have to say, I respect (good) 4-string player like Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten etc. AT LEAST as than 6-string players. I play 6-string and every single time I'm humbled by what 4-string players can do with what they have. Makes me feel like an idiot for needing two extra strings. Just goes to show it's not about what gears you use, how many strings and all that, it's about how you use it all to make it sound good.
mercy mercy mercy!!!! how awesome is this?!

What's that thing that the guy sitting down is playing? It's like a mini-drum kit where you have to press buttons? What is that called?

He's playing a fretless...they are so hard to hit the intonation perfectly every note!
WOW.
For the first time the horn players will be jealous because the drummer gets out the door first. :)

Steve does that one...

What Bass is Steve playing??
yes by jaco pastorius
are you kidding me?!? Vic just does a one handed harmonic like it's nothing? Geez... there's nothing he can't do on the bass
+Tomasi Akimeta WHAT? that was him ? I thought Steve did that somehow :D
yeah victa :)
i think Bailey could be a little less "artificial harmonic chords" kinda playing...but that his style...gotta respect
its just the angle - they are similar in height. they are both quite short though lol. makes you wonder how so much GROOVE can fit into them! lol
