The bass playing alone in just incredible but I've never seen anyone make electronic drums (especially by hand) sound so realistic! Such raw talent from just 3 guys on stage. Amazing!
As a diehard metal head, and a metal bassist, i can only dream of being as awesome as these guys. I'm proud to say, that this is the best piece of music i have ever heard. And this comes from someone who only loves metal.
I saw a show at the Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale about 6 years ago with Victor Wooten and JD. Blair. They did a 4 hour show with small breaks here and there.Played every possible style of music including a few original metal songs!Drums and Bass only, no other instruments.Victor Wooten is unbelieveable!
It's hard to comprehend how many notes per second he is able to fit in as crisply as this guy is able to accomplish. all the little nuances between the muted notes is always gonna be impressive.
I got to attend a Victor Wooten clinic once and it was seriously the most amazing thing ever. I learned more in a few hours with him than in seven years of classical training. I love seeing this man groove. Steve Bailey is amazing in his own right and I just love watching these guys.
God damn I love Victor Wooten. I first learned of him when the Steve Smith vs Victor Wooten video hit the internet some 10+ years ago. Looks like such a great guy, and I've never seen someone so genuinely happy playing an instrument. How can you not like the guy
If I was there, I would of course visit mighty Victor Wooten and walk away dissapointed by him. And hugely impressed by David Haynes. The drummer was amazing, Steve Bailey very good. Mr. Wooten spent years teaching that no one is interested in bass soloing unless it has groove, and now he´s doing this.
this was great every part of it. mad respect. to every musician. Steve. fingers. and Victor. I just got done listening to so low solo by Steve he is an awesome bassist. I am a fretless player and he is very inspiring so just wonder why no one can give itbup to him because he is sitting next to one if not the best bass player in the world? and fingers cuz he's on the pad. you still have to have a mad drum skills to even come up with that beat. music boner is a full on rager
i saw victor and steve last sat in portland oregon it was a life changing mind expanding event and now this??? that presonus drum unti(i assume) is amazing....
Never noticed how fretless bass lends itself so perfectly to playing chords due to having enough space to actually cramp all your fingers into a chord shape - with fretless guitar (yes, i have one), you just can't do it. And sustain is a different story altogether... Very inspiring!

this was great to watch. Drummer kicked ass, ive never seen someone play one of those things so well
Three amazing musicians. Finger drummer takes the cake, if you watched without video you'd easily be mistaken for a real kit! Phenomenal
watched without video?
The dude on the drumpad is insane! Tight!
Fretless bass has to be the coolest instrument ever.
Such amazing bass work by two inhumanly good players, but goddamn some sweet love is being made to that drum machine.

Every time I close my eyes my brain visually projects and acoustic drum set !!
Forget these two amazing bassists--that drummer really is the star of this show!
Victor, and Steve sounds fantastic as usual and David kicked ass on that drum machine.

the level of musicality and range of styles shown here is incredible, by all 3 of them
Steve bailey is just one of those rare bassists who sound pretty meaningful whilst being really technical.

From 8:29 to 8:55 Steve plays the iconic intro bass lines from ''So What'' by Miles Davis. Awesome!

omg victor wooten had me dying with laughter. by 2:20 i was just blown away the screen is shaking with the power of his slappage
Just as I thought Vic couldn't get any better, he takes his most extreme techniques and tightens them up to perfection. The guy's a beast!!
When people like these group together and make music, magic happens.
don't matter what video is check, but time and time again Vic is blowing me out of my chair !!!
Victor Wooten, best bassist in the world.

Steve Bailey is truly incredible.

Wooten's right hand is just a steel hand on the end of an electric drill.
