In that National Enquirer commercial, Tina Turner did eventually marry that “young German executive.”
She and Erwin Bach met in 1986. He was sent by her European record label (EMI) to greet Turner at Düsseldorf Airport. Initially friends, they began dating later that year. In July 2013, after a 27-year romantic relationship, they married in a civil ceremony on the banks of Lake Zurich in Küsnacht, Switzerland. They are still married.
He is 16 years her junior, but clearly they prove age was/is just a number. 😊 Chalk one up for the N.E. 😂

Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats- I always like the reactions of the people who see the people eating the frosted mini Wheats transform into kids in this commercial. Especially when the co pilot says, "A small problem here..," and the woman's friend says, "I'll have what she's having!".
Green Giant Special Additions- I find it cute how Sprout imitates the Green Giant's catchphrase, "HO, HO, HO!" at the end of this commercial.

I love the included gems of the game show "parting gifts" segments. What a nice touch!

When claymation finally gains its dominance on raisins. At least it gained TV specials, a Capcom game that was a finished found prototype but originally was to never be released to the internet(which it later was years after the loss of Brandon Murphy in 2004), a PSA related to visiting the local library("BOOKS! CHECK IT OUT!"), a Saturday Morning ink & paint drawn animated series, a mention on I Love The 80s(prior to getting Rick Roll'd), & a cameo for a Radioshack commercial with a lot of 80s icons(including Hulk Hogan, ALF, Jason Voorhees, Chucky, Mary Lou Retton, Kid n Play, & Q Bert).
I honestly loved the Meet The Raisins special because of how goofy their beginnings were. Plus the fact that their manager had them playing in odd areas, includng a tundra for an audience of snowmen he and a penguin made to make it look like a full crowd. That and the Christmas special I watched every holiday on VHS, which then shifted to YT if ever the video is still up and in full.
Thank you for the novelty and becoming a memerable footnote in pop culture. God bless Wil Vinton for the Raisins and The PJs.

8:28 - The little dog kind of sounds like Barry Gordon, best known as the voice of Donatello in the 87 Ninja Turtles cartoon.

Lee, Doan's, Louis Rich, Lavoris, Fiberall, Sucrets, Cuticura, Neo Sinephrine. I'm sure some of these brands are still around, but they don't advertise on TV anymore!

Oh man, I love this channel. This is an odd question, but in the Lee Press on Nails commercial, can anyone figure out the word the background guy says after she announces "Cotton Candy?" I've listened to it like 20 times. (Yes, I know how weird that is. Lol.) Thanks!

Of course Roseanne makes blowing a bubble look disgusting.
Wordplay would be cancelled by September 1987. It went up against Young and the Restless in some of the major cities.

12:48 - When you can't think of a word to go with "electrifying", you make up "granolafying"? I'm wondering how much the writer was paid to come up with that.
