For anyone judging the statement of "best live performances" by this performance please go and check out how Florence commands a stage at any festival with a large audience. Many of her smaller venues tend to seem awkward. Typically because she's holding back I think. But in front of thousands that woman is incredible. Please look at any Coachella or Glastonbury performance.

Her energetic when she performing is what make it so great plus when they just use more instrument or different lighting to change the stage. With the band alone on the stage is magical enough and I adore how she interact with the audience like in OMF 14.

I was impressed with the one she had when I saw her live last year but she wasn't one of these. They do seem ropey on some studio live performance clips & always much better at actual gigs. I hear this song at work and I've never been able to understand what she is singing...after reading the lyrics I understand a bit better. Wondering why it's not possible to sing well anymore and still enunciate the words so they can be understood? Guess I'm too old to understand...
She also has an accent, so that maybe it? But I get what you mean. Many artists try very hard to sound really strange with what they're saying. Fortunately, Florence isn't one of then, but live performances always throw people off.

+Agueda Sivori To be honest, I think she couldn't estimate her voice that day or something. As a singer I have days where my voice doesn't feel completely familiar to its usual state, y'know? To where it's like " ...Is this my voice? " --- Could also be fear of electrocuting death or nervousness on the show. It's a small performing space, she could be quite close to death if over performing , it's a show where she is a ... not really a POP - POP music singer y'know?
