Hello, Do you have any details on the roof rack mounts? I have the same tent on my Ineos but on the front runner bars which sit too high for my liking. Good looking car! Cheers!
Yes, it's SPP heavy-duty roof rack designed specifically for such tents. It attaches to 6 mounting points on the factory rails on each side (so 12 in total), which allows to distribute the weight more evenly and make it fit more flush to the roof. It holds all the wight with 270 awning, shower cube and water tank quite nicely. Nice build. Would love to mpgs/mpgs with all that. Like my Jeep Gladiator that also has too small a fuel tank, and knowing what I get with my mods, I can only imagine what you’re getting, especially given that it starts at 15 mpgs stock.
As per Rene, the gas mileage is slightly over 15. That B58 turbo kicks in from lower rpms and even with all the gear the vehicle doesn't feel heavy at all. We did some high speed driving and even small jumps - it was very agile.
Thanks. It's a khaki green vinyl wrap. The vehicles paint under it is black, which also looked nice, but it definitely stands out better in the new color IMO.
It is indeed pretty heavy, especially with all the extra gear, that was the main reason for upgrading the suspension. I think a basic spacer lift would't do the trick or make thinks even worse.
Why NOT the Diesel ???? There is NO reason for the petrol ! We drove 2 petrols for 3,000 km in mixed territory and 3 diesel for the additional trip: The diff in acc vom 0 -100 km/h is irrelevant , < 1.0 s.....The diesel has a range due far better efficiency of max 700 km; the tank is far to small, need to mount at least 3 extra fuel canisters. The petrols were empty already at 450 km ! For Offroading/Overlanding the diesel is far superior. We had on 2 diesel a REMAP by Ing. Walter GmbH done, so we had around, with small add. modifications, 300 HP on the Diesel and 640 Nm. Lift Kit was from Taubenreuther in Germany. Very good car, and better performer than the Toyota LC 79/76 2.8 l. Offroad the Defender D300 is at least as good, but questions about its reliability remain open. The only real alternatives are the Toyota LC 300 GR 3.3 D or, very expensive, the G Model 400d/ resp. 450 d

The door panels are a great look, and interesting fumctionality. Top marks on this build!
Fantastic! Love all the accessories installed and also the color of the Grenadier.
Totally agree, just the right color for the Grenadier!
Beautiful build 🚜🤩
Glad you liked it! Stay tuned for more cool projects like this!
amazing work, guys 🤩
Thank you 🙌
There are already multi double cardan drive shafts out to deal with lift angles that makes stock CV joints prematurely fail.
like the ineos they put Utility back into sports utility vehicle as so many are more of a 3 row luxury family school bus

Great buid, cool rig indeed.. Do you ship to the US?
Yes, absolutely.
What is the exact Color and Finish on that wrap? It's the perfect color.
It is Satin Hhaki Green from Avery Dennison
👍🏼
is that a green color wrap or colored PPF?
It is wrapped in Satin Hhaki Green from Avery Dennison
What is the color of the truck and Is it a vinyl wrap?
Thanks. It's a khaki green vinyl wrap. The vehicles paint under it is black, which also looked nice, but it definitely stands out better in the new color IMO.
what is the overall weight in this configuration?
As Rene said it's about 3200 - 3300kg (slightly more than 7000lbs)
Get it on a weight bridge I think it will be closer to the 4Ton mark

Das hätte ich ja gerne alles auf Deutsch gehört……
Leider spreche ich kein Deutsch (used Google Translate), aber zum Glück spricht Rene beide Sprachen!
