      With the ACP program running out soon, some cable companies will have to consider how to hold onto their ACP customers with newer low cost plans. I want to see how these NOW plans work out long term. If prices and performance are consistent, i might consider it.

    • @MrNewktrane

      @@Slim1423Well I can tell you that the Now Internet at $45 is essentially the Xfinity Prepaid Internet at the same price - which recently got a boost from 50 download speeds
      to 200 speeds. This has been a great increase as the previous 50
      was actually for myself closer to 60 in speed tests usage & the current 200 is actually hitting 239-240+ in usage. For one who streams only, you can't beat the price & performance boost.

  • @gcraig0001
    @gcraig0001 6 месяцев назад +2

    Comcast / Xfinity pricing is location dependent. If there is no real competition in your area (no fiber or 5G, no competing cable company), you will pay their maximum rates and heavy fees for equipment rental if you include a TV plan. They also add other fees not included in the advertised price, such as local sports programming fees and broadcast TV fees. In other words, the information you get on youtube about pricing should not be taken as gospel. Do your own research with your local Xfinity representatives and demand an all-inclusive price (includes all plan costs plus all equipment rental and other fees). Also be aware that Xfinity changes pricing in the middle of a contract, so if you sign up for a two year contract you will not pay the exact same price for the entire 24 months. They especially like jacking up the broadcast TV and local sports fees fairly often.

    • @MichaelSaves
      @MichaelSaves  6 месяцев назад +1

      I do explain these points in other videos. Xfinity is broken up into several markets, with different pricing in each. Even with a contract, they are allowed to raise the broadcast TV and RSN fees -- a big reason why people drop Xfinity for TV. However, the pricing mentioned in the video you're commenting on (new prepaid plans) is nationwide for areas that Comcast serves.
