Wreck-It Rhyperior I think it looks cool. I've always liked "object" pokemon since I don't have to worry about finding some hidden lore about how much people like to eat my pet.
Steenee is adorable and I kinda like Tsareena. Problem with Tsareena is the name. I keep having to look it up because my brain keeps calling it Tsundere.
I especially love Aegislash. Come on, it's a sword! With Ghost-Steel dual typing giving it a lot of survivability! I do wish it had a Honen form because it's Sword and Shield. Woulda been clever.

+Cool Terrorist 9/11 When you come across a shiny pokemon, there's a quick little sparkle animation that appears at the beginning of the battle. I didn't see it and failed to realize that I was battling a shiny pokemon.
They put in an effort at research, certainly. Wouldn't be the first time Screw Attack disappointed people that were a bit more connected to the subject. 1:17 If you think it is PROBABLY stronger, then you PROBABLY have no idea how the game works, just like Gamefreak when they made it. Dugtrio was usable for one reason only: Revenge killing. It had Arena Trap, which prevented switching, and great speed. Alolan Dugtrio loses Arena Trap, gains an ability that requires it getting hit (with its 35 HP and 60 Def), and loses 10 speed. Far outclassed by the other Steel/Ground type Excadrill.
Not only is Alolan Raticate's Duel Typing of Normal/Dark a bad choice, but It can't learn Elemental Fangs(aka: Fire Fang, Thunder Fang, Ice Fang, Poison Fang, and Psychic Fangs) And it's the Same with the Yungoos Line! They get "Strong Jaw" as one of their Regular Abilities, and yet the only Fang Moves it can learn are: Bite, Crunch, and Hyper Fang! WTF!?
Swift_Heracross That's the whole Reason I prefer Stakeout over Strong Jaw on Yungoos! The only way I would have used a Strong Jaw Yungoos, is if it could learn Elemental Fangs(Which it can't!)
Swift_Heracross I still haven't figured out how to find Hidden Abilities in Sun and Moon yet. :( But I'm under the impression that the Wild Pokemon needs to call for help successfully in order to find a said Pokemon with their Hidden Ability, Correct?
Nine_Tails137 yes, you have to SOS chain for the abilities 10+ defeated 5% for Hidden Ability, 20+ defeated, 10%, and 30+ defeated, 30%. The best way I'm doing this is having a Scizor with False Swipe, Mega Alakazam for Trace, Tauros for Intimidate, Aerodactyl for Pressure, Tapu Lele for Skill Swap, and Power Construct Zygarde for healing wall purpose. if you were wondering about Pressure and Intimidate, Pressure, Intimidate, and Unnerve have a hidden effect of making the Pokemon wanting to SOS some more and paired with Adrenaline Orbs, Pokemon get called very often, and if a Pokemon is not called, all you have to do is spam Adrenaline Orb to waste the turn so you dont have to waste PP
Nine_Tails137 Also, i always wait for 30 Pokemon defeated for the better chance of getting the Hidden Ability no matter what, trust me, it's so worth it, i ended up getting a No Guard Lycanroc SOS chaining Rockruffs, but i had to have someone else with Moon evolve it
1. Komala is a Koala Pokémon. AND THE FIRST!!! How can you not love that?!2. Dhelmise is pretty cool. It's Seaweed possessing parts of a Ship. I guess you've never heard of a Ghost Ship.3. Pyukumuku is amazing. Moving on.4. "There's too many Mushroom Pokémon." Well, there's too many cat Pokémon too, but you don't seem to complain about the God Awful Incineroar.
actually, the normal version of dugtrio is stronger than the alola form and dhelmise is 10% chance to find does it hurt that much to research for two minutes?
yea and the +10 speed regular dugtrio has over alolan dugtrio allows it to outspeed pokemon such as salazzle, mega metagross, gengar, thunderus, landorus, lycanroc, zygarde 10%, and alolan persian
Dhelmise is a pretty cool dude seeing as it's actually the seaweed that's the Pokemon and it just happens to posses the remains of wrecked ships giving it a more threatening physical appearance. On top of that it's pretty good stat wise. There's a pretty obvious pokemon that you literally showed in the video to fill the roll of inanimate objectmon. Hell it's name is literally only one letter off of comfy.
I respect you have an option, just know that its stupid and wrong. You were wrong about everything except dugtrio and the disease of the pokemon world known as the rattata line.
pyukumuku isnt bad when used right. It just relies on status moves instead of direct damage. Then again, nearly every pokemon is descent when used right
Swift_Heracross yes but c'mon, hes a goddamn sandcastle. I mean they put the anchor on the list. and also alola form dugtrio even though that ones stronger
tsukinoakuma "Let's put Bounsweet, a base stage Pokemon with intentionally bad stats, on the list, without mentioning at all the improvements it gets through evolving at all!"
Sorry, but I`ll Dhelmise over Decidueye (the worst of the three starters BTW), because it`s totally worth the catch, plus the anchor is not the Pokemon, the Seaweed covering most of the acnhor is the actual Pokemon, and Pyukumuku is a real deal on the hands of a good trainer, wich I think you are not.
Jose Echevarria dude, Rowlett and its evolution chain are head and shoulders above the other two. By a lot. Incinaroar is quite possibly the worst starter we've seen thus far.
Jose Echevarria What's bad about Decidueye? It's slow, sure, but so is every other Pokémon introduced this gen. Design wise, it's the best of the 3. Inceneroar was a heap of wasted potential and we got a Pokémon similar to it last gen: Fire cat with the first part of it's name being a word synonymous with fire (Pyro/Incinerate) and the last part being the word "Roar". Primarina is fine but I don't care for it.
Jose Echevarria None of the starters are fantastic. Decidueye is by far the most versatile, able to run bulky defog sets, SD baton pass sets, offensive SD offensive Nasty Plot etc. etc. its ability to trap to stop your opponent from doubling is useful. Just a solid pokemon that can fill a bunch of roles. Primarina is really only used as a choice specs user, and while it totes one of the best typings in the game, the onr set kinda holds it back. Incineroar will get better once it gets access to intimidate, but right now it has trouble filling niches. Fire/dark is cool, but it can only take it so far.
Alvaro Cerda butthurt much informant matter if it's actually good or not no one wants to use a pokemon that looks like a little kid drew with his left jand
i believe combee and salandit are the only gender specific evololutions that have a 1/8 chance of being that gender, pokemon like ralts and snorunt are 50/50 so they dont fall under that category
Use a pokemon with the cute charm ability of the opposite sex for the one you're looking for (like Sylveon for example) as the leader of your party and you'll increase the odds of getting the pokémon you want, int his case a female salandit.
Dhelmise is strong and awesome. Decidueye is the weakest Grass/Ghost there is. Also Klefki is based on a key stealing fairy from celtic mythology sooo yeah maybe do some research first. also, Bruxish is awesome
agreed on all points... though Kelfki, regardless of research, is just dumb. No one cares what a pokemon is based on. It's all about how it looks. Kelfki looks like a dumb idea without research. First impressions matter. If something is designed to look dumb then it looks dumb. Cute, but ...keys? None of that looks good on paper, I don't care how you write it.
Trevenant is a beast if used right and Gourgeist is good in defense and can learn a lot of fire moves it but would screw decidueye over in a match between the two.
+CAOcreations What I don't get is why people that resemble objects are so hated. So what if Vanillite is an ice cream? What if Klefki is a key ring with keys. Who says monsters with magical powers can't be shaped like objects?
the screw attack pokemon drinking game! Take a sip each time the voice over says something completely wrong about the pokemon he is talking about! (i recommend you play this game in parts for this video)
-Only 10? alot of alola's pokemon look increadibly dumb and what about that stupid snoop dog dragon?- I mean i love every pokemon and no fans are pointing a gun to my head while I say this >.> ;
>Tyranitar >Bad What? That thing is terrifying in both VGC and smogon's tiering. Goodra may be a pretty niche pick, but Ttar has severral viable sets in game, on showdown, and in official tourneys.
Pyukumuku is actually really good when played right. It's ability Innards Out is like destiny bond. If you switch into it when the enemy attacks, Pyukumuku faints and then the opposing enemy faints. Then the redeeming part of Bounsweet is its evolutions. Bounsweet's evolution is EXTREMELY good. That makes it worth getting a Bounsweet.
it's stronger, but only because of it's typing which is resistant against a lot of types. It got 1 extra weakness, 1 extra immunity and 6 extra resistances.
you guys obviously don't know how terrifying an Unaware Pyukumuku is you can't take it out, it recovers, it stalls you with soak + toxic AND, you can't even make your attacks stronger, because Unaware ignores your stat changes also, 5 speed may be bad, but... trick room, speed is reversed, slow becomes fast
Maybe read the entry of Dhelmise first? The body of it is actually basically ghost seaweed that possessed the anchor so it could crush its enemies. I think thats pretty cool honestly and really cool because it is decent in competitive and has 3 stabs. I think alolan persian had a much more deserving spot on this list, rather than dhelmise.
isn't it based on the clown horn not clown fish clown horn fish an aggressive fish with a bump aka horn on its head and like bruxish is intelligent ugly and aggressive bruxish is also based of some hawain fish
2oshow well it makes sense when you think about it in nature. The females in the reptile world usually have the most power because the pheromones make the males fight for the right to reproduce. Essentially salazzle is that. The reverse harem Pokémon that hypnotizes ALL MALES OF ALL SPECIES into doing what she wants
Pyukumuku is actually one of the best tank pokemon. It's specifically great with Toxic, and since it gets the Soak move, this allows it to inflict Toxic on any kind of opponent(with the exception of pokemon with Storm Drain, Water Absorb, etc), even Steel and Poison types. Add to the fact that it naturally can learn healing moves like Purify and Rest, and that makes it a team destroyer.
pyukumku and shiinotic are actually really good to use pyukumuku is a kind of bulky stall while shiinotic can take down attack and heal itself with strength sap and leech seed and it learns spore pyukumuku is a toxic stall and if there are steel types it can use soak and then toxic and recover if its low on hp.
Uh. Dhelmise isn't an Anchor. Its Ghostly Seaweed (hence Ghost/Grass) that clings to an Anchor and swings it around with enough force to KO A Wailord. It feels misplaced on this list. So what if its difficult to find? Its actually kind of a cool pokemon conceptually and even has its own unique ability and move. Stat-wise its superior to Decidueye as a pokemon.
"Stat wise its superior to Decidueye as a pokemon." No it isn't. Thought Decidueye was slow? You haven't seen Dhelmise's speed. Decidueye also has higher HP (slightly), higher Speed, and higher Special Attack & Defense. Dhelmise only suceeds Decidueye in 2 stats: Attack and Defense. Three is higher than two. Decidueye is better.
pyukumuku cant directly do damage, but its bulk can let it do set ups without the fear of getting one shotted, then baton pass to give an ally good stats and then go for an ez sweep
I am Gan Pyukumuku and Zoroark would make a pretty good team. The mind games, with the new training that can boost base stats and when Pokemon Bank finally gets updated, it could be useful using Pyukumuku as a sacrificial lamb and using a Zoroark disguised as one to throw them off. Obviously you wpuld use other good Pokemon but that could be part of a bigger strategy.
🎵"this is something you cannot avoid, the urban epidemic that is the Metroid! this is something you that you can't comprehend, the uncontained outbreak is about to begin!"🎵
sorry but i disagree completly with this list (except Bruxish and the flower/grass thingi) Cmon they want to make salandit a little bit special and make only the female version evolve, what wrong with that? u just have to look a little longer ...disappointing list
Absolutely agreed. Bruxish is horiffying, Dhelmise is rare yet outclassed, Pyukumuku works on paper but then you realize what exactly it's made of, Yungoos is Gen 7's Zigzagoon (AKA Wonder Bait), and male Salandits are just better male Combees in the long run but still pretty GARBO.
Blue Dragon I'm starting to form this theory that its design is in fact BASED on him. Stupid hair, closes eyes, all that's left is for them to come out like the creators of Back to the Future did when they said Biff Tannen was based off him.
Shadows of the Colossus King He is actually meant to be a detective not a politician, he deals with facts not random junk that is said by American people to gain power.
Bounsweet might be prone to being eaten on a daily basis, but when it eventually evolves into Tsareena, that's when it's done being hunted. Also Tsareena's ability Queenly Majesty is freaking amazing...
you guys messed up with dugtrio you accidentally put the 0 on the wrong side of the 1 4... no NO ju...JUST NO i dont think ive ever disagreed more witha top ten list then this one and ive seen alot of top tens
Meyoumu_Kanpaku calm down. pyukumuku has its place on stall. Soak toxic is definitely viable. it can mayyyyybe fill a niche on balance as a sloe pivot, though arguably other pokemon do it better. But if you're using it as like a counter/mirror coat user trying to catch pokemon off guard, you're doing it wrong. might as well use wobbuffet
ukulele pichu Better? eh. Decidueye can fill a variety of niches. it can definitely be difficult to decide which one you're fighting. bulky defog? scarf? set up baton pass? set up physical sweeper? etc. if you're using dhelmise as anything other than a fat rapid spinner, you're doing it wrong.
technically dhelmise is better its just not good enough for next tier for example rotom frost is better than seaking and their both in pu yet its not good enough for nu, at the moment
cameron corbin i have a decidueye set you said meanwhile my dhelmsie isn't a spinner yet it always fared better in competitive unless i wanted them to each take a fire blast where those 10 more spdef points barely mattered
Daniel Tymus imma have to disagree with you. Dhelmise is a solid spinner, but its slow, doesn't hit particularly hard, doesn't set up, doesn't have much utility options. Assault Vest with rapid spin is a good set. every other set, though, is probably not very good at all. Decidueye pulls off decent scarf sets, set up baton pass, set up dtall breaker, bulky defog etc. Its just a much more versatile pokemon. neither are fantastic, but decidueye can do so much more imo
I do genuinely wish Salandit had a male Evo. I love his ability, and I have a odd soft spot for poison types, but having one dead end is just so damn dissapointing
Alolan Persian is an upgrade over the original in how you evolve it & ability amped stabs in Bite & Thief with speed making it an early game sweeper. Alolan Raticate the worse for being just real downgrade with more weaknesses & no good abilities.
Kanto-Dugtrio is better than Alolan Dugtrio, they have pretty much the same stats, but K-Duggy has Arena Trap which is a really good ability, practically the only use it has while Al-Duggy has nothing going for it.
Honorable mentions: - *Kommo-o*: Yeah, I know that it's on the Top 10 Best list, but... it ONLY learns Sky Uppercut. For a punch-focused Fighting type, you kinda wish that it also learns Hammer Arm, Drain Punch, Dynamic Punch, Force Palm, Focus Punch or such. - *Crabominable*: Slow, lack of defense and lack of better physical Ice and Fighting moves - *Vikavolt*: Slow... and can only evolve in post-game due to a location. - *Palossand*: It's a sand castle... and Water Compaction raises its defense only... when many powerful Water moves are Special - *Silvally*: Mostly because its design... doesn't change this much. Sure, it loses the helmet, but that's it... Also, the memories take the item slot for other useful items. - *Togedemaru*: It doesn't learn a single Steel-type move, except for Gyro Ball via TM... and it's useless considering its high speed. - *Guzzlord*: Funny that this one didn't get mentionned, because it's a slow UB with no specialization between Physical or Special attacks, and its defenses are meh.
I can't stop finding female Salandit(to the point I'm considering just wonder trading them)but that #1 was still hilarious, namely as I've seen several let's plays of the game where they spend a long while excited over one and wanting Salazzle. Then the reaction when they can't have it is priceless.
1. Alolan Dugtrio is based off Hawaiian myths. It's steel type because of Pele's Hair. 2. Dhelmise is more useful than Decidueye and it also isn't the anchor. It's the kelp around the anchor. Also, it's super easy to catch if you're not dumb.
On the Yungoos issue, that's happened with EVERY game that has common Pokemon early on. Weedles were the bane of X/Y Wonder Trade for the longest time, at least until all the children playing were done with the game and everyone else said, "Oh hey, let's start working on competitive teams." So now you see all sorts of pokemon that happen to have less than perfect IVs filling Wonder Trade instead, and it's beautiful. So... Nervous Nick, just give Wonder Trade some time to ferment and mature from all the dead Trumpling corpses.
The main appeal of the original Dugtrio is that is traps its opponents with its Arena Trap ability. Alolan Dugtrio not only lacks that, but it's also slower than the original Dugtrio.
Shiinotic stares into your soul, its empty eyes gazing into yours, as you feel all life drain slowly from your body. You try to get up and run, but your weakened legs soon fumble over a tree root, tumbling down. With only an ounce of your former strength, you look up, and are met only with eerie smile. You try to scream for help, but you are weak, a shell of your former self. And even if you could call, nobody would hear you. Shiinotic reaches out slowly, extending its three pale, misshapen fingers, and you can only watch as they grow closer and closer. In the end, your tiredness overtakes you, its insidious smile the last thing you see, before passing into an eternal slumber... (Basically, what I'm trying to say is that Shiinotic is creepy as f*ck and I love it.)
It's actually really easy to get Dhelmise. You fish in that one spot, and if it doesn't appear, go back into the Steelix boat and back out, and the water will be bubbling again, giving you a 10% chance to get it. A bit tedious, sure, but not as tedious. No, Mareanie is the big problem trying to get. Only appears in SOS battles, and only for a pokemon that has a 5% spawn rate.
I will say that shiinotic and Dhelmise are actually pretty good competitively, shiinotic gets a really good exclusive move and dhelmise has a monster attack stat that makes tapu bulu scared of it
"Probably better than normal Duggtrio." What? It loses Arena Trap, Duggtrio's best (and only) real reason to be used and, as if that wasn't enough, GETS SLOWER! I LOVE how A-Trio looks, but it's really bad compared to normal Trio.
Sending a shiny male Salandit through wonder trade is possibly the biggest middle finger I could ever imagine.
I'm almost impressed
Wonder trade went to wonder rage lol
I imagine that trainer wanted to make everyone else suffer with them.
dhelmise is actually good stat wise
Wreck-It Rhyperior is the only Pokémon that has three STAB
Wreck-It Rhyperior I think it looks cool. I've always liked "object" pokemon since I don't have to worry about finding some hidden lore about how much people like to eat my pet.

Assault vest 4 attack rapid spin is a decent set.
Wreck-It Rhyperior I'd say it's better than Decidueye.
Better than Decidueye. Thats no huge feat.
Talks about bounsweet
Not one mention of its evolutions
WHAT?
the fastest link what if the evolutions are actually badass?
Crystalitar They aren't ?
Crystalitar They are. Tsareena is a powerhouse.
Steenee is adorable and I kinda like Tsareena. Problem with Tsareena is the name. I keep having to look it up because my brain keeps calling it Tsundere.

Dhelmise is actually good tbh
Which just makes it worse since finding one is so hard.
I'd say it's rather fun finding one determination is key
I'm gonna use one in my main Pokémon Moon team :3
IT is, the guy in the video is just a crappy trainer.

You're honestly complaining that there are too many mushroom Pokemon?
**Cough Cough** Too many Fox Pokemon
**Cough Cough** Too many Cat Pokemon
TeckGeck Everyone likes cats and foxes. Only French people like mushrooms.
Martin P Mario tho?
TeckGeck But Fox, Bird and Cat Pokemon are inevitable though. How ever mushroom Pokemon are pretty lame.
bird pokemon too.
Too. Many. Moths!
I just grinded for a bit and found a female Salandit easy enough.
Bob Rashley i just got myself a sylveon
Bob Rashley or the other easy way is to breed a male salandit with a ditto to possibly get a female salandit.
It's way easier to lead your party with a male pokemon with cute charm, like sylveon.
Matijn good point
Right! I was hunting salandits for over an hour and caught about 40 of them. I caught 2 females, one with great ivs lol
What's with the hate on inanimate object pokemon? I think they're cool and have interesting backstories.
I like them really especially after klefki
It's a object

Just like how we have too many mushroom Pokemon, and too many Grass/Poison types.
bruxish was supposed to be ugly
Intentionally ugly is still ugly
PootieWienerfish Just like Garbodor.
weeb Hey, Garbodor is awesome!
I like Bruxish, probably my favorite fish pokemon. Also it shuts down Priority spaming Pokemons.

actually, the normal version of dugtrio is stronger than the alola form
and dhelmise is 10% chance to find
does it hurt that much to research for two minutes?
lol right
dhelmise is only 10% in bubbling spots, they are refering to just regular fishing spots since they dont want to go into detail about bubbling spots
PaulyD Oregon right, just go in and out and the bubbling spot comes back
Yeah, arena trap makes a REALLY good revenge killer.

Thing is, unlike Sudowoodo, nothing in the Pokemon's name mentions the seaweed being the reason for its typing.
Upon further investigation, i found out that the anchor is not the pokemon. The actual Pokemon is the green stuff that the anchor is covered in.
I respect you have an option, just know that its stupid and wrong. You were wrong about everything except dugtrio and the disease of the pokemon world known as the rattata line.

soak toxic is definitely an obnoxious set. can be dangerous for bulky offense
Bounsweet's gimmick is that evolves into rule 34 bait
not even gonna mention the goddamn sandcastle? okay.
Palossand is great in the Sandstorm with its ability and Shore Up as a move
Swift_Heracross yes but c'mon, hes a goddamn sandcastle. I mean they put the anchor on the list. and also alola form dugtrio even though that ones stronger
I have a weak spot for possessed sandcastles, therefore I like palossand.
The anchor is much uglier.
Little Knight's Reverie thats oddly specific
MrTims5220 Yep.
I get very little Yungoose on wonder trades. The Salandit dilemma is exactly why I look up how to evolve my Pokemon.
Aren't you supposed to do research before making a Top 10 Best or Worst list? This list is just amateurish.
tsukinoakuma
"Let's put Bounsweet, a base stage Pokemon with intentionally bad stats, on the list, without mentioning at all the improvements it gets through evolving at all!"

Inceneroar was a heap of wasted potential and we got a Pokémon similar to it last gen: Fire cat with the first part of it's name being a word synonymous with fire (Pyro/Incinerate) and the last part being the word "Roar". Primarina is fine but I don't care for it.
Jose Echevarria
None of the starters are fantastic.
Fire/dark is cool, but it can only take it so far.
waytodawn96
Incineroar is miles ahead of stuff like meganium and Samurott
Cameron Corbin I actually liked Samurott.
Bounsweet turn into the almighty Tsareena, which is a boss during a playthrough.
A beatable boss
Dhelmise really didnt deserve to be here
"TOP 10 Worst Sun & Moon Pokémon by design"
Alvaro Cerda Not adding into their stats at all, just being shallow and judging by appearances.
Alvaro Cerda "top 10 bad opinions about Pokemon design"
Alvaro Cerda butthurt much informant matter if it's actually good or not no one wants to use a pokemon that looks like a little kid drew with his left jand
Can someone translate this last comment?
idk confuses me too but people have to be ignorant if they think kids can design these things.
Are you serious? Breloom is a beast, also Vanilluxe for LIFE!
Vanilluxe for life
Vanilluxe > Abomasnow as Hail setters
How about nine tails as a hail starter?
I always thought Shroomish was kind of cute!
Lucy Herrick Until you realize how slow it is in leveling it up.
Game Freak really needs to stop this Combee syndrome.
Robert Martindale you're referring to gender-based evolutions right?
Robert Martindale It's happened with only 2 or 3 Pokémon. It's not like it's a trend that so many Pokémon only evolve as a certain gender.
i believe combee and salandit are the only gender specific evololutions that have a 1/8 chance of being that gender, pokemon like ralts and snorunt are 50/50 so they dont fall under that category
salandits make sense too if you reas its dex entry
Pyukumuku is amazing! And my Komala sweeped almost ALL of the game!!!
You sound like a good trainer.
HellRay Thanks.
Godzillamir #bewearpyukumuku
Use a pokemon with the cute charm ability of the opposite sex for the one you're looking for (like Sylveon for example) as the leader of your party and you'll increase the odds of getting the pokémon you want, int his case a female salandit.
Komala stats lame? Tell this to my 53 victorys with his help on battle tree
👏
How.
No seriously, teach me your ways.
most are its only good stat is that nice 115 attack
Walter Valentim I love komala!! What's your moveset?
A komala made my entire team faint and it was a lower level than every single pokemon I had
I actually liked Yungoos and used one on my team. Wasn't too bad.
Dhelmise is strong and awesome. Decidueye is the weakest Grass/Ghost there is.
Also Klefki is based on a key stealing fairy from celtic mythology sooo yeah maybe do some research first.
also, Bruxish is awesome
Decidueye is definitely not the weakest Grass/Ghost. Trevenant and Gourgeist are pretty much crap compared to it. Dhelmise is arguable.
agreed on all points... though Kelfki, regardless of research, is just dumb.
+CAOcreations
What I don't get is why people that resemble objects are so hated. So what if Vanillite is an ice cream? What if Klefki is a key ring with keys. Who says monsters with magical powers can't be shaped like objects?
dhelmise and decidueye are in the same tier competitivly. while gourgeist and trevenant are in the lowest possible tier for sun and moon competitive
Don't dump on Salandit.
You don't have any idea how good dhelmise is, besides design decidueye has nothing on it.
the screw attack pokemon drinking game!
Take a sip each time the voice over says something completely wrong about the pokemon he is talking about! (i recommend you play this game in parts for this video)
You can stroke pokemons but god forbids you pet the Fire Emblem cast...
One is a group of animals, one is a group of humans. That's pretty different, creep.
James S.
Yes but remember Pokemon like machamp and medican, now think of what perverted parents would say.
I don't get why that was ever a feature in the first place.
I don't want to look at my comrade in war and say "I want to pet her face"
i swear to god they don't even know what a wall pokemon is supposed to be
-Only 10? alot of alola's pokemon look increadibly dumb and what about that stupid snoop dog dragon?- I mean i love every pokemon and no fans are pointing a gun to my head while I say this >.> ;
OBJECTION!
Your opinion, nuff said
yes yes we all know Kommo-o is bad. its official the worst pseudo legendary in the game. what else is new.
+ogre589
That goes to Tyranitar and Goodra.
>Tyranitar
>Bad
What? That thing is terrifying in both VGC and smogon's tiering. Goodra may be a pretty niche pick, but Ttar has severral viable sets in game, on showdown, and in official tourneys.
+Shashank7170
Just because it's cool that doesn't mean anything. It's slow with many weaknesses.
Stronger than old dugtrio... No it is slower, worst abilities and more unnecessary defense (only 10 more).
it's stronger, but only because of it's typing which is resistant against a lot of types. It got 1 extra weakness, 1 extra immunity and 6 extra resistances.
you guys obviously don't know how terrifying an Unaware Pyukumuku is
you can't take it out, it recovers, it stalls you with soak + toxic AND, you can't even make your attacks stronger, because Unaware ignores your stat changes
also, 5 speed may be bad, but... trick room, speed is reversed, slow becomes fast
fight me about raticate, i love him, i always used one in blue
Crystalitar it's extremely comon (ratata)
Maybe read the entry of Dhelmise first? The body of it is actually basically ghost seaweed that possessed the anchor so it could crush its enemies. I think thats pretty cool honestly and really cool because it is decent in competitive and has 3 stabs. I think alolan persian had a much more deserving spot on this list, rather than dhelmise.
I kno Bruxish looks ugly, but aside from the teeth it looks almost spot-on to the actual animal it's supposed to represent!
Uh one has a beak, the has teeth. Not even close.
It's not based off a clown fish... also, I just said the teeth are the one thing that doesn't look like the actual animal.
isn't it based on the clown horn not clown fish clown horn fish an aggressive fish with a bump aka horn on its head and like bruxish is intelligent ugly and aggressive
bruxish is also based of some hawain fish
No, check Bulbapedia for what's probably the actual fish it was based on.
ok
7:36 I got a shinny ditto on GTS, that silandit may have been genned.
Only female Salandits can evolve?
*TRIGGERED*
2oshow well it makes sense when you think about it in nature. The females in the reptile world usually have the most power because the pheromones make the males fight for the right to reproduce. Essentially salazzle is that. The reverse harem Pokémon that hypnotizes ALL MALES OF ALL SPECIES into doing what she wants
DrWho1596 salamanders are amphibians.
ABRAHAM RIVERA oh? I actually did not know that. I guess I just saw salamanders as a different kind of reptile
Add to the fact that it naturally can learn healing moves like Purify and Rest, and that makes it a team destroyer.
i don't like bruxish either...nuff said
pyukumku and shiinotic are actually really good to use pyukumuku is a kind of bulky stall while shiinotic can take down attack and heal itself with strength sap and leech seed and it learns spore pyukumuku is a toxic stall and if there are steel types it can use soak and then toxic and recover if its low on hp.
"Stat wise its superior to Decidueye as a pokemon."
No it isn't.
I always found that weird? Especially when it's ability Steel Worker doesn't even mesh with its typing or move pool.
pyukumuku cant directly do damage, but its bulk can let it do set ups without the fear of getting one shotted, then baton pass to give an ally good stats and then go for an ez sweep
Pyukumuku is my favorite Pokémon of Sun and Moon. Pyukumuku for President 2020!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I love it's cry. It's so cute
I am Gan Someone who understands!
Well, being born in Alola means it's an American citizen. But can we find a Pykumuku that's managed to live to be 35?
Yea it's pretty bad
🎵"this is something you cannot avoid, the urban epidemic that is the Metroid! this is something you that you can't comprehend, the uncontained outbreak is about to begin!"🎵
sorry but i disagree completly with this list (except Bruxish and the flower/grass thingi)
Cmon they want to make salandit a little bit special and make only the female version evolve, what wrong with that? u just have to look a little longer
...disappointing list
"What's with Nintendo and mushrooms?"
Getting high to come up with half the stuff they do? :P
Why is Chewbaca not on this list?
Absolutely agreed. Bruxish is horiffying, Dhelmise is rare yet outclassed, Pyukumuku works on paper but then you realize what exactly it's made of, Yungoos is Gen 7's Zigzagoon (AKA Wonder Bait), and male Salandits are just better male Combees in the long run but still pretty GARBO.
Hmmm i wonder why they didn't put Wimpod on the list, it only learns 2 moves levelling up, and it's pretty annoying to catch, as it runs away.
Rinked
Dhelmise fills a completely different role than any of the grass/ghosts before it.
My guess is that as annoying as Wimpod can be, its evolution Golisopod is pretty good.
bruxish is actually good in competitive so is dhelmise also dhelmise is just made to screw over decidueye
golisopod is general grevious form star wars
Gumshoos is Donald Trump as a Pokemon
You call? knowyourmeme.com/photos/1209312-donald-trump
Blue Dragon I'm starting to form this theory that its design is in fact BASED on him. Stupid hair, closes eyes, all that's left is for them to come out like the creators of Back to the Future did when they said Biff Tannen was based off him.
Blue Dragon Not intentionally so.
The game was made in Japan, so they probably didn't know, who Donald Trump was.
Dhelmise is hard to catch?
My four recently caught ones say otherwise.
woah woah woah, THATS MY BOI YUNGOOOOOOOS
TacticalTurtle he is an american disgrace and you know it!
Shadows of the Colossus King
He is actually meant to be a detective not a politician, he deals with facts not random junk that is said by American people to gain power.
Bounsweet might be prone to being eaten on a daily basis, but when it eventually evolves into Tsareena, that's when it's done being hunted. Also Tsareena's ability Queenly Majesty is freaking amazing...
you guys messed up with dugtrio you accidentally put the 0 on the wrong side of the 1
4... no NO ju...JUST NO i dont think ive ever disagreed more witha top ten list then this one and ive seen alot of top tens
Meyoumu_Kanpaku
calm down. pyukumuku has its place on stall.
Meyoumu_Kanpaku im sure youve got your balls in a twist about some awful anime list before you seem like the type
are you speakin competitive cuz i dont know what your talkin about i just love pyuikumuku its adorable and hilarious
what?
Did anyone else notice the nickname at 1:24
yes
Dhelmise is just a better Decidueye
ukulele pichu
Better? eh. Decidueye can fill a variety of niches. it can definitely be difficult to decide which one you're fighting. bulky defog? scarf? set up baton pass? set up physical sweeper? etc.
if you're using dhelmise as anything other than a fat rapid spinner, you're doing it wrong.
dhelmise and decidueye are equally good competitivly, they are in the same tier
technically dhelmise is better its just not good enough for next tier
for example rotom frost is better than seaking and their both in pu yet its not good enough for nu, at the moment
cameron corbin i have a decidueye set you said meanwhile my dhelmsie isn't a spinner yet it always fared better in competitive unless i wanted them to each take a fire blast where those 10 more spdef points barely mattered
Daniel Tymus
imma have to disagree with you.
Alolan Persian is indefinitely the worst Alolan Pokémon.
Surprised it didn't make in this list.
I'm not. Screwattack's top 10's leave a lot to be desired.
Alolan Persian is an upgrade over the original in how you evolve it & ability amped stabs in Bite & Thief with speed making it an early game sweeper. Alolan Raticate the worse for being just real downgrade with more weaknesses & no good abilities.
Dhelmise is actually really interesting in my opinion, the fact that it gets three different stab typings is awesome.
3?
@@JoyBoy0606 Grass and ghost attacks work as normal, plus it gets STAB boost to steel attacks through its ability.
Stopped watching after the Dugtrio slander.
Shinnotic is my favorite mushroom Pokémon because it's underrated but looks like a dead ghost mushroom.
As I'm making this comment, nobody has seen the entire video
yeah cause we all murdered our computers before we could finish
I love how much you know about Pokémon c:
Picking Decidueye over Dhelmise is probably the best move one could make
Dhelmise has an ability that gives it a steel type stab whenever it used a steel type attack
I am surprised that Game Freak hasn't made a padlock pokemon yet.
Kanto-Dugtrio is better than Alolan Dugtrio, they have pretty much the same stats, but K-Duggy has Arena Trap which is a really good ability, practically the only use it has while Al-Duggy has nothing going for it.
Honorable mentions:
- *Kommo-o*: Yeah, I know that it's on the Top 10 Best list, but... it ONLY learns Sky Uppercut. For a punch-focused Fighting type, you kinda wish that it also learns Hammer Arm, Drain Punch, Dynamic Punch, Force Palm, Focus Punch or such.
- *Crabominable*: Slow, lack of defense and lack of better physical Ice and Fighting moves
- *Vikavolt*: Slow... and can only evolve in post-game due to a location.
- *Palossand*: It's a sand castle... and Water Compaction raises its defense only... when many powerful Water moves are Special
- *Silvally*: Mostly because its design... doesn't change this much.
Komala doesn’t see anything but it’s extremely aware of what’s going on around it
I can't stop finding female Salandit(to the point I'm considering just wonder trading them)but that #1 was still hilarious, namely as I've seen several let's plays of the game where they spend a long while excited over one and wanting Salazzle.
Also, it's super easy to catch if you're not dumb.
pyukomuko also gets unaware that ignores stat boost from the opponent and why would you eant to attack with it.
What about Crabominable? Crabrawler's evolution, which you can only get right near the end of the story (Mount Lanakila)?
"With a whopping ONE PERCENT chance to catch."
_finds Dhelmise first try_
I really like dhelmise and think it’s really cool
I feel like someone should tell them dwelmise Is the seaweed on the anchor. The anchor is just that an anchor. Te seaweed takes control of the anchor
Nick, Yungoos is the 7th gen version of Zigzagoon and Poochyena from ORAS on Wonder Trade. Nobody wants them, and yet people keep sending them out
Congratulations Magicarp! Your no longer the most hated fish! Bruxish took your job for you!
A lot of these Pokémon are actually pretty good.
Wait, I'm confused.
Are you saying Dhelmise can't ruin a good amount of stall teams with Anchor Shot??
4:07 HEY! You mess with Breloom, you mess with me
9. I seriously though Komala was going to have an evolved form. Looks like it never got one.
I will say that shiinotic and Dhelmise are actually pretty good competitively, shiinotic gets a really good exclusive move and dhelmise has a monster attack stat that makes tapu bulu scared of it
"Probably better than normal Duggtrio."
What? It loses Arena Trap, Duggtrio's best (and only) real reason to be used and, as if that wasn't enough, GETS SLOWER!
I LOVE how A-Trio looks, but it's really bad compared to normal Trio.
WTF?!?!? A video by ScrewAttack! WHICH IS NOT DEATH BATTLE?!?!?!
Pyukymuku is awesome. It can Toxic everything after turning them into water types and then stall forever with Recover.
