Until a few weeks before my test I don’t think me or instructor were sure but then we had more lessons and also added in 4 x 2hr lessons week before my test, plus mock tests and instructor said I could pass and I did. Now I’ve passed it’s hard but I’m getting there and friends sitting with me and her husband was an instructor so is taking me out for confidence lessons from next week to help me get use to my car and to work on the area I’ve realised I need some extra help with (building speed, parallel and reverse bay parking) I had lessons in snow and rain but not the dark so friends husband will cover driving in the dark too.

    • @fitnessfran
      @fitnessfran Год назад +1

      And this is literally the problem so the DVSA implemented a thing where if instructors get too many fails they get penalised. So they’re getting strict on only taking people who are guaranteed passes. So now we’re hearing so many stories in the dms of people who can’t move their test forward because there are literally no tests even in 6 months in some cases and their instructor won’t take them so they’ve basically wasted 62 pounds 😢

    Great video, Franco 👏 I'm still not on the road (pun intended) to being test-ready yet. Mostly, because I've been out of work for a while and I am scraping for funds with everything as it is. It's usually the case that I have the money but not the time, but it's reversed. I also don't have a car, or really any friends nearby that I can practice with. I just had my first lesson in months today as I had to cancel my test date back at the end of April as I just simply wasn't ready. Every mini mock exam I take in my lessons, I get serious or dangerous faults on so I damn well KNOW that I'm not ready!
