This has become one of my favorite Megadeth albums
I was in the hospital when this album came out. Downloaded it to my phone and listened to it and was blown away. I was in for 2 months and it really helped give me energy to recover. Thank you 😊
The grief of loosing one closest to me, mixed with alcoholism that ensued, saw the darkest year of my life.
The anger of this song lifted me out of my depression and gave me clarity.
The exquisite outro 5:16 gave me a sense of acceptance that I needed to carry on. It sounds like the end of a storm.
A beautiful distortion that can be felt as well as heard.

This is just grate! This song made me understand that Megadeth is just brilliant. This trio, 2 violins and one cello does so much more than the whole symphonic orchestra that some other rock/metal bands play with.

Until Dystopia came out, Peace Sells was always my favorite Megadeth album followed by Rust in Peace. I didn't think Dave would ever do better than Peace Sells but he did.
Brother you nailed it perfectly. I feel that the new lineup of Megadeth every single bit as great as the original. To fans like me who have been here since the beginning that truly says something. Kiko is every single bit as great as Chris Poland. Dave, and Jr. still bring the brutality in truckloads.

You forgot Junior was also locked in there with Dave and the kid on drums. The drummer and this has to be one of the best recording, production and engineering jobs done on a track, especially with the drums sounding so clear and clean as well as front and center. Then that combined with Dave and Junior both being locked in with the bass, sounding so clean and tight. With the wrong producer and engineer, that section cuz it sounded really horrible and muddy.
The symphonic feels like Angra in a way. I love Kiko in Megadeth. He is so epic!

This song is brilliant. The Thrash Metal personality of Megadeth is fused with classical music, and in a brilliant way. The violins and the piano along with the drums, guitars and bass create a dramatic, divine sound, while Dave's voice gives the song a dark colour. In my opinion, this is the best song Megadeth has ever made.

I never thought another song from megadeth could make me cry. The other one is "a tout le monde" and yes, a lot of music from megadeth made me emotional over the years, they've always been there for me, but to make me cry, "a tout le monde" was the only one, until this one came in...
I remember the first time I listened to this one, I didn't pay attention to it a lot. I thought "cool tune" but just that. Later I listened again, red the lyrics, and it broke me apart. Such darkness, such a dramatic feel to it, and the end with the piano... chills man, always.
Dave keeps prooving he's a talented songwriter, a master of his craft, and a man that can still amaze me with his music. Because we all know his ability to write great music, but to create a song like this you have to be on another level. Dave, you are one of a kind. Aguante megadeth! 🇦🇷

I thought that was quite strange and cool, considering Dave has said that pianos and keyboards are for funerals and religious gatherings. But this has to be one of the most classic metal songs ever. It makes my hairs stand up and sends shivers down my spine

It amazes me how every album Mustaine has released has it's own unique sound. He has never abandoned his own creativity and manages to release masterpiece after masterpiece throughout the years. Extremely difficult for an artist to do this without their fan base abandoning them. If you would like an example see Metallica.
And that isn't to say that Mettalica was wrong for branching out and trying something different creatively speaking, but it wasn't well received generally speaking.

This is beautifully dark song off of Dystopia (I think underrated too). I give this band a lot of credit with their creativity and how strong they deliver content to us fans. Over 30 years and still going off strong, I do believe they won a grammy for this album and it was very well deserved too. Thank you Megadeth!
