    Excellent video - succinct and detailed. Inspiring. I haven't quite got that amount of control yet but I am working on it. Thank you!

      Most welcome and good luck! You can always try treading and then stopping your feet to use the stored twist to work with if doing it at the same time is too hard😁

    Was that Glenn featured as Cat Manager? Loved the technique, gonna try it. Loved that you were using your Hansen, as that's what I can access right now due to stuff.

    Wonderful tutorial! Much better than the one that i used a couple of years ago to try to learn to do this. Your black and orange yarn is gorgeous, by the way. I'm off to try this, and thanks!

      puede activar los subtítulos y seleccionar su preferencia de idioma en una versión de escritorio de RUclips, creo. Puse esto en el traductor de Google, ¡así que espero que tenga sentido! ❤

    Quick questions: first, do you then knit this as a single? Or do you ply it? Second, do you find that some types of wool work better than others? Thx

    • @alanna7181
      @alanna7181 4 года назад +3

      This yarn i used in a weaving project as a single, so no, I didn't ply it. For the beehive it works best with a wool that is more prone to felting so that it doesn't come apart.

    What is the purpose to have a beehive coil in the yarn?

    • @alanna7181
      @alanna7181 5 лет назад +1

      If you want to add it as a design element, they are fun to have, especially in woven fabric. You can use it in embroidery if you spin one on a smaller scale too. I just think they're fun to make!
