Was hesitant with my decision on this one but I’m glad I purchased. Very good tablet. Amazing picture quality and it’s very fast. Would definitely recommend
Walmart seriously needs to get in the business of making phones. I have their bluetooth speakers and their ear buds and they work fantastically. They're not audiophile material but they work good enough and they last long. Imagine an ONN phone that competes with Samsung's Galaxy A1x series phones. A 120hz phone with comparable performance and a micro sd card slot and a 3.5mm jack. Why doesn't Walmart get on this? It's prime real estate in the American phone market landscape.
How does minecraft perform on this tablet though? My kid plays it on his fire8 and it chugs a lot now so being able to play minecraft well is a dealbreaker
I didn't test Minecraft, but expected it would run smoothly. A careful Google search showed someone else who tested and said it was smooth (just at a lower visual quality) and I saw some others in the walmart reviews who agreed
When I compared my A9+ 8GB/128GB to the Onn 12.1" Pro tablet at Walmart. My A9+ was a lot faster honestly. It's about 25% faster in single core and a 30% faster in multi-core performance. I honestly don't even see how you can make the claim of comparable performance as it's just not in the same category. The Onn tablet doesn't even have a multi-window mode (or if it does I couldn't get it to work). There are certain basic features every tablet should have in 2025 that this tablet lacks. I have a Redmi Pad Pro 12.1" 6GB/128GB with the SD 7s G2 that I bought on Amazon for $217 (it normally sells for about $260) that is basically identical in performance to the S9 FE. IF someone is desperate for a tablet with a larger display the Onn 12.1" might work for some, yet it's missing most of the features people are expecting to find in a tablet these days.
I would disagree with you. But I completely understand your viewpoint. Some people will view it as absolute junk. And it's clearly not for you. But there will be some people out there who want a 12-in tablet, so they want something bigger than the Samsung A9 Plus or the Lenovo m11, But they might not want to pay $250 or $300 for a bigger tablet. It is well built, it is about the same speed as those other two tablets, and it does have a bigger screen. It all depends on if those compromises are right for you. In your case, you value those things pretty strongly. So this might as well be in the trash 😂. I get it. That's why I mention all that stuff. I try to help people find what's right for them. But there is an audience for this.
@@montanatru Stop trying to convince anyone this thing is utter trash good for you and you never owned a flagship tablet if you think this wallyworld garbage is "great"

I do not recommend an Onn 12.1 tablet pro 2024 tablet from Walmart. Don't ever buy one! If I keep it powered on for a couple days in a row it won't recognize my password and I have to reboot it to make it accept my password. And at one time I had to jump through hoops with the settings and factory reset to stop it from uninstalling all my apps after rebooting the tablet! And it just decides to turn itself off now and then when the battery is fully charged. Man I want a different tablet lol" yeah a great steaming turd for sure!

Does it have a headphone jack?

I just sold the Tab S10 Ultra. I really miss a premium 8" Android OLED tablet like the Tab S2 8". iPad Mini it is...
Have you checked out the Lenovo Legion tab gen 3? Not OLED but sounds like one of the best 8 inch android tablets.
This is the way to go
@ Holy crap...thx for pointing it out! I haven't looked at a Lenovo tablet in some time. It looks great!
@ After watching a few reviews....it definitely looks like what i was looking for!
Have you considered a z-fold?

Sometimes people just need a tablet.
