Zenless Zone Zero has a big problem with it's character design and one of the key directors at Hoyoverse may be the issue... In this video I talk you through the Zenless Zone Zero character design issues and a content creator who has been saying some rather disgusting things about the Younger ZZZ Characters, and how this is a growing issue in the Zenless Zone Zero and also Gacha Community in general that just makes the Genre wierd for everyone else...

I just don't like why a game has a lot of child characters especially in version 1.0. I mean they are fighting and ether infected monsters right? Why send a literal child to fight those monsters??
I don't mind child characters but here they seem to be overtly sexualized which is disturbing, basically what I'd expect from people that likes cuties lol.
Seen their sub reddit? Most post are drooling over the child characters there that I ended up leaving that shit lol

Once I saw how they designed and animated minors in the game, I was so disturbed there's no way to justify playing it because it was intentional and approved.
It's one thing to create innocent child characters that depraved people turn into something inappropriate, it's another thing entirely to intentionally design children like that. And for all the people justifying "it's just fantasy"......whatever you normalize in your mind, even though "fantasy," plays a functional role in how our brains process beliefs that shape how we respond to things in reality. The more you are exposed to something, the less shocking it becomes. I hope we always remain horrified by anything that pushes the boundaries with anything associated with minors.
If fantasy has no impact on reality...then why do "jiggle physics" have such a....physical reaction.....for people....ahem....
As someone who only plays the male characters I still am a little bit torn to keep playing or not
They hire him knowing full well what type of art he does, I doubt they going to change him now. It's not like this wasn't out in the open too. He is pretty famous in the industry, thanks to his designs in azur lane and a few other gacha games. These people already knew who they were hiring.

If a high trust society like Japan with low crime is bad because people can make loli content then what do you have to say about places like the Middle East or Europe where such expression is banned and yet have high incidents of crime? It's perfectly normal to find people who are attracted to those types of characters weird and I agree that Kabuki's content and behaviour has no place on RUclips but at the end of the day it is pointless to get this worked up over fictional content. Do you really think Hoyoverse would hire a lead artist without looking through their history extensively? They know who they're hiring and they support them because they are able to understand the concept that fiction is not equivalent to real life.
I don't really understand why content creators are "threatening" to stop playing either. They should just leave if the existence of those characters bothers them that much since it is clear that the game is not designed for people with such delicate sensibilities. The part where you talked about "going outside" came across as massive projection since you are equating a fictional character to an actual child. There's not much point explaining all this to you though since your entire channel is nothing but clickbaiting and grifting.

Makes me wonder how this started. I remember anime has alot more worst than this but no one bats an eye (e.g. monogatari series, Kodomo no Jikan, to-love ru) or characters with child like appearance or petit (e.g.toradora which is regarded as one of the best romance in anime). 10 or 20 years later theres alot of dramas like this appearing. They would not survive on those if they were around 10 or 20 years ago. This is the aftermath when too many tourist gets into anime since its going popular now. People need to understand that alongside your Attack on Titan, Naruto, JJK, Dragon Ball Z, My Hero Academy, etc. You have the other aspects of anime such as Chobits, My Dress up Darling, DNAngel, Berserk, Konosuba, Healer Revenge. You signed up for it and culling what makes the anime culture unique for your own liking is just plain trash.

Real old school anime always had a distinction between adult and child characters. I was a pre-internet child from the 80's and although sick stuff has always existed, most children were never exposed to adult content. In the past 30 years, the age and rate at which children have been exposed to "adult" material is insane (majority of kids 9-11yrs).
It has been clinically researched and proven countless times that exposure to it physically alters the brain, particularly the prefrontal cortex (impulse control, risk taking, decision making) of a child's brain and as a result depression skyrockets along with emotional dysregulation issues and can damage the brains natural dopamine reward system which often leads to the lack of a sense of fulfillment in normal relationships with a propensity to seek out sexual experiences with greater risk.
There is also a huge issue in anime p**n with depictions of r**e and in***t with a message of "they want it really" - you expose yourself enough to that kind of message and you get these past few years of masses of people actually justifying out in the open a level of sick desire/behavior that was unthinkable a couple decades ago.
My heart genuinely breaks for GenZ and all that follow after because we should've protected their innocent minds better.

Its a different ball game if its other countries, like radical beliefs, they point and criticize something LOUDLY on a certain topic yet consume and fantasize about things they like about it. This is not what a normal human being should be doing. Instead stay quiet, whether you like it or not and act upon if it affects real life.
If I were allergic to a food ingredient like a tomato and its part of a burger I ordered. I would just quietly ignore and remove it after saying thanks rather than going at it with the counter server screaming "YOU LIL SH*T! IM ALLERGIC TO TOMATOS! GET ME YOUR MANEGER!".
You ordered the whole burger (In this case the whole anime concept). Act like normal and ignore or accept rather than be a Karen or Virtue Signal.

Sure, there are people who speak out about things being immoral but then secretly consume it, but that doesn't mean everyone does that. It's like assuming that because most parents in the West speak out against the sexualization of children as meaning that they are virtue signaling and secretly consuming that kind of content behind closed doors.
Anime is just Japan's unique style of animation as a whole - animation is not unique to Japan, most cultures have turned art into animations since the early 1900s. So unless you are arguing that Japanese animation is both explicit and what we see in mainstream and so we should just accept both otherwise it is virtue signaling and being a Karen, then why can't we call out the bad aspects of anime and desire to preserve the good? Sure, us Westerners might not be aware that perhaps depicting children like this has been prevalent since the inception of Japanese anime....but that doesn't mean we can't call it out now that we are being exposed to it.
I do think you make valid points about the hypocrisy that does go on though.

the word loli is bascially used for characters who are small, petite and in general have a cute looking face. if the character has a flat chest but they are very tall and dont have the typical cute big anime eyes etc they are not a loli. typical loli characters would be anby, nekomiya, corin, soukaku, koleda, lucy and piper. so quite a lot. most female characters in zzz fit the loli face but the other characters are either too tall or curvy i would say, its not always 100% clear. characters like ellen are kind of in the middle, she has the typical loli face but her body is a bit too curvy.
its anything that is small but personally a loli to me is not like the ones in ZZZ because they look more like what a short adult would look like.

To quote rev, "loli is a body type." My cousin is a 4 foot 2, flat chested woman in her 20s. She doesn't have deformities in body proportions or extra skin like a person with dwarfism just really short. This, in my personal opinion, does not make her boyfriend a pdf.
As for age of concent, a quick google search will tell you that in China the age of concent is 14 years old with a mutual partner. Highly irregular for western standards. Therefore, we can see why chinese gotcha games are full of young characters, usually around the 14-16 year old mark. As far as china is concerned, they are legal adults of ripe age similar to an 18 to 20 year old in the west. Not defending that practice, for obvious reasons, just stating facts and using logic. Similar countries are everwhere all over the world with age of concents as low as freaking 12. Whats missing here is the general concencus of the western world that people need to be mature (18 is questionably low in my opinion with modern maturity) and the god complex that we have to passivly believe that sentement is shared by the entire world, which it is not.
As a final point characters of this type which are in these games I for one personally have no problem with. Its not like they are candidates as "breedable" as the creep put it for normal westerners. If anything they are cute little sister/daughter type characters. They are not usually sexualized by the game as evidenced yourself by the hook c6. She is the only canonical "minor" by chinese standards therefore why she is the only one clothed.

It wouldnt deter me from stop playing it, its unironically interesting storywise (some section are a bit filler but its mostly character dynamics) and it feels snappy, the art is great as well as the music but i dont think they're gonna force the lead artist to stop doing "child" characters cuz of the general english speakers that probably dont even play or read the game

Not surprised lol, majority of the characters are lolis and although I don't mind having them ingame (heck loved Encore/klee/Nahida specially since their story is nice) But theres a thing called too much and those characters are actually wearing proper outfits.

I have no issues with child characters in games as long as they're not sexualized and are not lolis.
I thought that loli just means a child character. But after some research, it's basically an adult mind with mature dispositions in a body of a child/minor.
At first I didn't mind this loli thing at all, until I find some comments trashing a game (WuWa) for not listening to players and said that at least Genshin listens to its players because Hoyo added a hot loli. And that hot loli according to him/her is Diona. I've also seen one saying Nahida is hot.
That's absolutely disgusting. And the amount of people justifying it with mental gymnastics is insane. Saying that Diona is an adult. And that's the think she fits the definition of a loli, adult in a child's mind. People are using the fact that having an adult mind makes Diona not a minor despite clearly having a child's physique. If you played HI3 this being probably the next evolution of that style game, the stupid number of lolis and they keep rereleasing the characters and they eventually get older with the campaign but it's like child warriors like Evangelion games just lasted for so long with so many story archs there are grown up versions too.

This is not any news to me , as player that has experienced 4 years with Hi3rd and 2 years + Genshin impact anyone with brain cells will be able to see they're agenda. They promote some rly sexy adult looking woman like waifus and lolis , after some period of time they will slowly keep nerfing waifus sexepeal like minimizing they're cleavege, hiding pantsu/Butt cheeks and many other little details that actually you like about character you pull / pay for .
In same time they will keep adding lolis and over sexualize them instead like why ... All i know is it happens in evry single hoyo game and that's sole reason for me to not look into those anymore, not surprised to see this pattern cause its one reason i quit hoyo games actually.
